The sound of metal clacked against the cobblestone streets of the Holy City, accompanied by the scent of incense and the sound of chimes that seemed to be headed in the direction of the centre square of Emperor's Road. A sudden surge of white and gold swept over the busy street; forming a stoic and imposing line atop the announcement stand. Amidst the white and gold stepped a man dressed in a lavish golden robe; standing headstrong and holding a scroll in his right hand. The parchment was so long, it almost touched the floor; but with a cleared throat and a booming voice, the man began to announce.
"Pious and faithful citizens of the great and Holy Regalian Capital, by order of the Supreme Commander of the White Order we are most pleased to announce the establishment of the Eternal Order of the Ivory Wardens to act as a permanent station of the White Order here in the Crown Isle. No more shall impurity, treason and corruption be left to fester amongst the rabble of the streets. Effective immediately, our Wardens and Inquisitors will be patrolling the Crown Isle, offering a guiding yet stern hand to bring the light of Union back into the hearts of our great people. Like the other Inquisitions before us, the Ivory Wardens will endeavour to root out corruption, treason and heretics that use Unionism as a cloak to hide themselves. We ask that you cooperate with our investigations, work with us for your safety, sanctity and piousness. Those interested in joining our ranks to serve the Spirit fervently may approach one of our Wardens"
With that, the cloaked monk rolled the scroll back up and tucked it away into his cloak. "May the Eye of Union watch over you all". With that, the Wardens began to clank their way through the crowd gathered, their gaze steely and stalwart as they disappeared into various streets.
The Supreme Commander of the Ivory Order is the highest ranking individual within the Inquisition. They are tasked with the overall management of the Ivory Wardens and also act as an overseer of Inquisition affairs. The Supreme Commander's authority is absolute and may only be overruled by the Supreme Reverend or the Emperor himself. The Supreme Commander has the privilege of acting as a fifth Inquisitor during religious trials and may by authority of the Holy Inquest Law may temporarily suspend the privilege of nobility to conduct investigations.
Currently held by: William Coen
In the absence of the Supreme Commander, the adjudicator of Union may act as his hand in all affairs relating to the Inquisition. Unlike the Supreme Commander however, the Adjudicator may not take up the role of an Inquisitor though may perform duties equal to that of a Warden of Radiant Order. The position itself may only be given to an individual trusted by both the Supreme Commander and the Supreme Reverend.

The Maestro of the Faith acts as the Master of Arms for the Wardens. The Warden's overall physical training is overseen by the Maestro of the Faith and acts as the Warden's main tutor when it comes to combat proficiency. This position is also in charge of ensuring that Wardens remain on active duty and must inform the Supreme Commander of any mitigating circumstance as to their absence. This position may be held by those within any Warden Rank but not by an Inquisitor.
Currently held by: Lionel Coen
The Chamberlain of the Faith acts as the Supreme Commander's personal archive keeper and steward. Arrest reports, atonements and upkeep data must pass through the Chamberlain for documentation. The Chamberlain holds a direct line of communication with the Supreme Commander and as such, can organise meetings for individuals who wish to speak with him. This position may not be held by an Inquisitor or Warden and those who hold the position may not take part in combat scenarios.
Currently held by: Roselyne Coen
The Seeker of the Faith is the Ivory Order's on sight torture specialist. The Seeker will be charged with any aggressive information gathering scenarios and will be expected to perform their duties well and with tact. The position may only be held by a Celestial Warden or upward.
Currently held by: Nathaniel Bigge
The Arbiter of the Faith is the Inquisitions 'tank' of sorts and chief punishment overseer. The Arbiter is often tasked with the more grotesque tasks within the Order, such as crowd control, public punishments and on the rare occasion, executions. The Arbiter of the Faith may only be held by a Warden of the Radiant Order.

The Ivory Inquisitors, while few in number, hold the most privilege within the Inquisition outside of the offices of Supreme Commander and Adjudicator. The Inquisitors may command the Wardens as they see fit provided the command isn't repugnant to the orders of the Supreme Commander. They are also the only individuals bar the adjudicator and Supreme Commander who may call a Religious trial. These positions are usually held by the most pious Ailor Wardens whom have risen to the rank of Warden of the Radiant Order. There may only be a maximum of four Inquisitors at any given time.
Currently held by: Wolfgang Drache, Juliette Wodenstaff
The Wardens of the Radiant Order are considered the elite of the elite when it comes to enforcing Holy Law and the Creeds of Union. The Radiant Order can be considered the 'Captain' regiment of the Order as the majority of its members hold the respect of the lesser ranks. They have the authority to command lesser Wardens, lead patrols, hold training sessions (In the absence of the Maestro of Faith) and also enact punishments ordered by the Ivory Inquisitors and the Supreme Commander. The Wardens of the Radiant Order can be identified by their purple neck piece.
Currently held by: Veridan Daevaar, Otto Bergmann.
The Wardens of the Celestial Order are often elevated members of the Radiant Order, which often entails a certain degree of knowledge that surpasses that of which found in the lesser ranks. The Wardens designated in this level are often the equivalent of Ensigns, in that they are above a standard guard level and their skill has reached a higher degree than the first rank Wardens, but are not yet able to be termed 'elite'. These members have the authority to give orders over the basic Inquisitor. The Wardens of the Celestial Order can be identified by their red neck piece.
Currently held by: Warren Coen, Natasha Celyreos, Marcelo de Santigo, Nathaniel Bigge
The Wardens of the Heavenly Order is the first rank of Inquisition foot soldiers after the recruit stage. The Wardens of the Heavenly Order have very little in terms of authority but can arrest individuals who deny the Emperor's superiority or Unionists who directly or inadvertently break any of the Unionist Creeds. The Wardens of the Heavenly Order are many in number but lack the service or skill to rank up to the Celestial Order and as such, this particular regiment tends to be more commonly spotted across the Imperial City. The Wardens of the Heavenly Order can be identified by their cyan neck piece.
Currently held by: Milahme Coen, Orlin Wodenstaff, Avilda Ignaard, Emelia de Santigo, Lionel Coen, Nostriano Vespucci, Wulf Grey.
Warden Recruits are in all respects, new blood to the Ivory Wardens. They simply exist to watch, listen and learn the ways of the empowered Wardens until a member of the Ivory Inquisitors, Radiant Order or the Supreme Commander believe them competent to be ranked up to the Heavenly Order. Wardens may not arrest individuals for breaking Holy Law on their own but may assist in an arrest when accompanied by members of the higher Orders.
Currently held by: Ellahae Daevaar, Xyliah Naero, Daw'Alsha Kasuf, Inkeri Árud, Nikolaus Artiemus, Eric Loilen.
