Aberrant people who have come and gone from Regalia warrant her distaste and ire from all they've done against the mundane people. Without it, she wouldn't have lived, and to a small degree, she respects this power but does not admire it. The Wills of Faith are a little more privy to intrigue or skepticism, but she beholds a cautious air to nearly all Magical things.▹| How does your character feel towards their family? ↘▸ | The Santorski family is a complicated matter for Ania. She loves them, for they are her own, but to be cast out as she has will never settle right with her, and she is often filled with unspoken grief when they are brought up. She clings to what family she has left.▹| What is your character the proudest of about themselves? ↘▸ | Ania is most proud of her dedication to the military, war, and combatant skills. She did what her mother always doubted her for, and she surpassed Lenora and Aron alike in both leadership and combat prowess. Though her past accomplishments are just that, gone in the past, she holds onto them because they've brought her where they got her.▹| What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? ↘▸ | Her biggest motivator to strive forward and continuously better her life is reflecting on past mistakes--those that she did with the Santorski name--and seeking ways to remedy her unsteady path of life that she's paved. Ania's not a perfect person by any means. She desires to be acknowledged in some form as a great woman of battle and war; one who fought for her name as well as her family's, be that Santorski or Howlester or purely for herself.▹| What is your character's biggest insecurity? ↘▸ | Ania's biggest insecurity is her usually unspoken role as an outcast Velheimer. Unwanted and viewed as weak by the Drixagh people that she once lead, Ania's nonideal world has come to pass in full. She understands that she can only blame herself for the ire the people feel against her, but even with this acknowledgment, it strikes as her greatest insecurity.▹| What is your character's biggest fear? ↘▸ | Ania's greatest fear falls under one central thing: loss. If there is at any point that it seems Ania might lose something, someone, or anything remotely important to her, she starts to fall apart. In some cases, she degrades or dulls. Much of this comes into play because of her high-climbing pride and ego in herself. If and whenever this has been challenged, and loss comes into play, much of her senses go out the window. She aspired to be like her father, who supported her desires and goals. Ania fought in several battles and skirmishes involving the Santorski troops and neighboring, rival tribes and families. She honed her skill under sword and shield, and also attended the Skole Militair Nordskag to better her leadership skills in frontline commandeering. ▹| Much of her adolescent and near-adulthood life revolved around battles. In her own way, she pursued the brand, "Fire of the North," the Santorski sigil's motto. In some cases, she accomplished this. Yet, to her matriarch, Lenora, she was still lesser and inferior. To try and prove herself to her sister and her family, Ania joined Lenora in the battle against the House Typhonus as a mere able-body to fight the opposing forces. She was indiscernible and not notable at the time, given she had not left Drixagh like her sister had, or met any other noble house family prior. ▹| Some years after, Ania saw it fit to leave Drixagh and experience the city like her secretly half-brother and sister had. Lenora had been banished as a Silent Sister for life. Aron took her place as a challenge and push to show male dominance for the family. Inner-familial conflicts arose. Aron's death resulted from them, as well as Ania's betrayal against him after his several accounts of abuse dealt with her. Ania realized the consequences of her betrayal, and her family refused to welcome her back home. From there, she lived on as a commoner for roughly half a year, if not longer. ▹| The Anahera Occupation was Ania's first dramatic Regalian event. Though a commoner, she teamed up with the women of the city, who were armed with their rolling pins and kitchen tools, Luna Levine, and Jehenna Howlester to storm Grunnpfhlict Castle. She fought Anahera guards and eventually reached those trapped within, including Ulric Typhonus, who gave her his recognition with a handshake. ▹| Eventually, Emperor Alexander Kade permitted her to regain a noble title, despite the Santorski family's wishes. This took place at the Axford Diet, where the noble peers especially insisted she act more civilly and Unionist in order to be accepted. She took on these terms in order to have the ultimatum she desired. It was also around this time she met the first Ravenstads, and her future first husband, Bastian. ▹| After a timely divorce, Ania and her children separate. Her daughter took the Santorski name alongside her but her eldest son was given to the Ravenstads. ▹| From events like Freya Lo’s occupation, the tyrannical seating of Montagaard, the infighting between Santorski and Sorenvik, and many more, Ania’s time in nobility was almost always eventful. ▹| When the Howlesters fell then rose again in titles, Ania served the new patriarch as his palest. Many months of service eventually lead to a point where she and her daughter, the Sovereign Princess, went away to Gallovia to better commune with the Highlanders. ▹| Velheimers in Gallovian lands were never fully accepted, Ania perhaps earning the majority of the backlash. All of it is shadowed however by her daughter’s sudden take to illness. As swift as the disease hits, her daughter passes away. Ania’s fear came true. She lost her eldest daughter. ▹| Overtaken by grief, Ania requested freedom from the Howlester family and fled across the sea to Drixagh. Ania Howlester became Ania, a woman from the north with no family name to cling to and one less child. Hey there, @MantaRey. I've got a review for you. I tried to pick out some things you might consider expanding on or changing, but for all intents and purposes, you have exceeded the expectation in terms of quality and fulfilling the requirements for an Approved Character Application. I would almost say that these two traits are the exact same thing, but they are sort of different. I feel like they can be grouped under narcissistic, but that would leave you with an empty slot. It is ultimately up to you. If Ania is cruel, how is she also solicitous towards those close to her? I would change Cruel to match, "Coarse," which is already in her personality for consistency's sake. In terms of balancing, I see two personality weaknesses and one physical weakness. What about something pertaining to Ania's mental characteristics? Is she slow at learning? I remember at one point she was not able to read and write in Common. I would think about how she may fall back in terms of mental fortitude. Perhaps it is too cliche to suggest that a fighter character is not the most smart, but I am not sure how articulate or worldly Ania is if she cannot read very well, or has not read many books at all. Of course, you do not have to fix this, but it is always nice to think about some of this stuff and write it down to clarify that your character is not a Mary Sue, "Good at fighting and incredibly smart," for posterity's sake. Finally, I'll be super picky and say that the spoilers for the life story are unnecessary and kind of annoying to open up and read through. But in all reality, if you need to put any part of the life story in spoilers because you're afraid it will clutter the screen or whatever, it is probably written too long. In this case, I feel that it is so. Your Life Story should be a bare bones summation of your character's life. A lot of stuff (especially for the things that happened after Ania arrived in Regalia) is incredibly redundant. For example, you could just say, "After a short marriage with Bastian, Ania divorced him because he was an unfaithful shit." or so on and so forth, instead of going on a ten bulletpoint description of what happened. Remember, you can always make little stories that expand on the life story if people are interested in reading more than a brief summary. Other than these few edits, your application is looking fiiiiiine. Please tag me when you're ready for a second run down! :)

Review! No surprise at all that the layout of the application is impeccable and the contents are well brushed. Ania has a distinct, balanced personality cultivated largely by her history IG, which I see well presented throughout the applications. Ania is a well-trained warrior able to duke it out with the best of them should the time arise, and she has worked for that level of skill. However, over the times she has fought time and time again, I'm aware that she has taken injuries here and there, some more severe than others. Her training back home would've left her with some of their own, definitely. As such, I'd like you to include the addition of a more combat-hindering weakness to Ania's current list. Though it doesn't have to be debilitating, it would be something she would work to cover and work around in battle - such as a weak side, a certain badly healed bone or body part. I find that with the experience of being a warrior, comes the many times a warrior has tumbled over time and time again. I'm sure you'll cover this request nicely. Fix up main ambition, references to the Vigilant Shield which is no longer an organization. I feel like haphazard is obvious enough given what her style is. I would alter it to make it clear Ania has a fault in her style that is unique to her, or replace it with an entirely different weakness. Make sure life story is updated with the rebellions. Did quite a hefty change. Switched Ania from School of Skagger to School of Feer-Drakken. Updated her Body Build, Weapon of Choice, Talent (from Skagger to Feer-Drakken), and updated her Life Story. I was a bit confused with the mention of longswords, however--their page on the wiki lists them as two-handed, but I believe they're listed as one-handed in the School of Mariposa, for example. Let me know if there's any fault in that regard or anywhere else regarding the update. Listed all edits made in the Edit Log under the first post. Re-review required. @Wumpatron
The longsword will not work for Feer-Drakken, the weapon is too light for what they are trained for and becomes unwieldy in that respect. Heavy two-handed weapons such as the zweihander or bardiche are what I mean. Heavy weapons to inflict heavy damage. Make that change to the weapon of choice and tag myself once completed @MantaRey

Merely removed her +10 points in General Command and moved them into Large Shield, totaling it to +20. I don't think this requires a re-review, but I'll leave this here just in case someone would like to double check it.
