    Basic Information

    • Full Name: Daw’Alshsha Kasuf (Daw’, D’awww or Alshsha, etc for short)

    • Age: 20 years old

    • Gender: Female

    • Race: Songaskia

    • Main Ambition: To settle down somewhere and raise a family.
    • Daw’Alshsha has been in Regalia for about a year now, having been convinced by her cousin to leave her somewhat comfortable life in Amkhar, Farah’Deen. She now looks for work, living in a decent-sized house that her friend, Susumu, has let her stay in.

    • Daw’Alshsha was born in Amkhar, Farah’Deen, to Daw’Alshams and Dur’Ashieat Kasuf. She has five siblings, all of whom are boys, and many cousins of both genders. The one she is closest to is the one that convinced her to go to Regalia with her. Her grandparents and anything above that are dead, having served in the military.

    • Daw’Alshsha is looking for a sustainable job. She enjoys helping others.

    Visual Information

    • Eye Color: Pure gold. Slitted pupil.

    • Hair Color: Dandruff white.

    • Hair Style: Ponytail in the back and slightly curled around her face.

    • Skin Color: Dark chocolate brown.

    • Clothing: White and red clothing, light cloth. Very practical for her homeland.

    • Height: 5’6

    • Body Build: Athletic with a slight Curvaceousness.

    • Weapon of Choice: A dagger for the streets of Regalia.
    • Alshsha has a rather dainty nose, with slightly pouty lips and wide eyes with long eyelashes. Her face is more rounded than most, but with visible cheekbones and a slightly defined jawline. Her forehead is not visible, due to her hair covering it and curling at the sides of her face to frame it. Daw’s eyebrows are rather small and neat. Freckles are barely visible as a dusting on her nose. Her hair is pure white, drawn back into a ponytail. She has smallish, neat ears covered by her hair and a graceful long neck sloping down to the rest of her body. Daw’Alshsha usually carries a laid back expression, happiness twinkling in her eyes. She has naturally straight teeth, which she keeps clean.

    • Daw’Alshsha reaches up to be a rather short 5’6, with a small torso and longer legs. Her legs have a more athletic look to them, along with her torso, with the exception of wider hips and a huge chest. Her arms have defined muscle, with a couple freckles here and there. Her skin as an even dark chocolatey brown, with absolutely no visible scars. She does not have very large bones, giving her a thinner frame. Body hair is almost nonexistent on her, except for on her head and eyebrows. Daw’Alshsha would not be able to win in a wrestle against most of whom are with higher skill or muscle than her. She keeps her nails rounded, but not short.

    • Daw’Alshsha usually wears a dress attatched to her neck by the gold that lines it. The dress has two layers, the outer white, and the inner red. The fabric is light and seems to flow in the wind, almost see-through. Her sleeves do not cover her shoulders, providing minimal warmth while still being there. Her clothes were very practical for the deserts, but are often the reason she is uncomfortably cold in Regalia, even during the summer. She only has one piercing, a stud of gold in her nose. She loves the colors white and red, and always carries a small pouch of money and a hidden dagger with her. The dagger is hidden underneath her shirt.

    • Daw’Alshsha’s voice is silky yet strong, making her a decent singer. She speaks her native language, Sofaal, so rapidly that those who are not extremely fluent in it can not understand, although she can sometimes slow down her words if needed. In common, she speaks slightly broken -though improving rapidly- and with a heavy Arabic-like accent, although her newfound friend, Susumu Yi, is helping her with speaking better and faster. Daw’ speaks Faraddi almost as fluently as Sofaal, although not as fast. When she’s excited, she starts slowing down her words, when angry, she speeds her word up until they’re a barely coherent torrent of anger.
    Languages spoken:

    • Sofaal- Her native language.

    • Faraddi- Her second language.

    • Common- Her third language.

    Personality and Abilities

    • Most others percieve Daw’Alshsha as an oddly nice Songaskian. She’s overly friendly with those that look trustworthy, but indifferent with those she does not trust or like. She has a huge soft spot for children of any race, wishing she had her own. She loves cats.

    • Daw’Alshsha is scared of dogs, having owned a particularly aggressive one in her homeland. She is fairly self-confident, believing she will often make the right choice if she does what feels right to her. She feels more confident when talking, however, if it is to one of her kind, a child, or one that can speak either Faraddi or Qadiriq. She sees herself as someone no higher or lower than anyone but the sun.

    • Daw’Alshshsa does not hug anyone she does not consider a friend or family member, although she sometimes flirts with them to experiment. She sometimes will try to kiss the cheeks (On the face :I) of the friends that have been particularly nice to her. Oddly enough, she would only be okay with children, family or a lover kissing her back. She does more favors for those she’s comfortable with, along with random gifts and more compliments. With strangers, she’s simply that ol’ flirt that doesn’t actually let them get closer unless they’re nice to her back. Despite what some may think, she knows when to stop or not flirt.

    • Daw’ is considered to be a good person, and even considers herself to be one. She is always just, only being rude and violent when others are in danger, or only sometimes when she is in danger. She sees other people’s corruption and evil deeds as something shocking, never having experienced it in her homeland, besides slavery, which she could find many reasons as to why it was okay. She would like to stop these, yet does not have the training to join the organization that stops it.

    • Daw’Alshsha follows the Shambala faith, although not to the point of shaving her head. She does find wearing a hat as something to be frowned upon. She is gradually accepting Unionism as an extra part to her previous religion, being taught to her by her good friend, Susumu Yi. Her opinion on Nobles is good, however she finds them in need of giving a little more respect to those who are not in the same class as them. She believes she is not destined for greatness, but for happiness at some point soon and for the rest of her life. She doesn’t view slavery as a bad thing.
    Talents

    • A way with cats: Daw’Alshsha has a way with cats, almost always carrying something that most cats like. She has a more gentle demeanor when she is trying to call a cat over, making them trust her more than a child or anyone loud or aggressive. She knows all of the places that cats like to be scratched or petted. Daw’ has several stray cats around her small house.

    • Fishing: Daw’Alshsha had to learn how to fish in order to survive with her cousin on their small boat to Regalia, which was severely under packed with food and supplies. They had brought some fishing materials along with them, although neither of them had fished more than a couple times in their lifetime. Daw’ found a way to lure most fish into the trap that was her fishing hook, which was how she survived the whole trip.

    • Reading: Unlike many in her homeland, she was taught how to read both Faraddi and Qadiriq easily, along with some common. She takes pride in this, although it is fading as she sees how many others outside of her homeland can do it as well. She knows quite a bit of big words in her native languages, making it so she can read even the books meant only for those who were scribes.

    • Singing: Due to her voice qualities, Daw’ is a very good singer. She specializes in her native songs, but knows a couple tunes from other cultures. You can often find her humming one of her favorite tunes when she is alone. She is slightly shy when it comes to singing in front of anyone but her family members.

    • Dancing: Daw’Alshsha learned the intricate dances to participate in worshipping the sun. She is quick to pick up on dancing, and rarely ever forgets it after being taught. She sometimes dances and sings at the same time.
    Weaknesses

    • Altruistic: Daw’Alshsha is sometimes a little too Altruistic, carrying out favors from strangers. She sometimes won’t realize the oddness of the favor being asked, simply doing it to help. She once bought a whole group of thieves Ale, only because they asked.

    • Fear of canines: Daw’ is almost deathly afraid of dogs, having had bad experiences with them before, along with bad experiences with Wolves. She will stay as far away from any type of Canine she can, even if that means running off in the middle of a conversation. She tends to think of them as the Devil’s minions.
    • Quirks: She will sometimes start swaying to music in her head while having a conversation, or when she is upset. She raises a brow when confused and flares her nostrils when disgusted or unpleasantly surprised. She will often tap her fingers to a beat when sitting at a table. She will space out if nobody is directly talking to her, planning and having daydreams.

    • Daw’ is a fast runner, although she cannot usually beat those who have actually spent time on being able to run fast. She can bake to some degree and is alright in math.
    Likes

    • Dance- Daw’ loves to dance, even if there is no music. It makes her feel as if she is back in her homeland, worshipping her precious sun. She disliked dancing at first, but now treasures it and continues to learn more types.

    • Sing- She absolutely loves to sing, it once again reminding her of her homeland. She has always liked singing, getting into classes for it when her parents realized her potential. She always feels calmed and happy after singing any song.

    • Ale- Ever since she had her first taste of Ale in Regalia, Daw’Alshsha has loved Ale. The taste and smell remind her of the joy involved with making it to Regalia alive.
    Dislikes

    • Dogs- Daw’Alshsha both hates and is scared of dogs, for the reasons listed above.

    • Aggressive people- Daw’Alshsha hates aggressive people, not liking to be around them. She likes her environment to be full of non-hostile people.

    • People disrespecting her friends- When she sees people disrespecting her friends/family, Daw’Alshsha feels as if she is going to rip off their head and throw them into a fire, then stomping on the ashes and laughing. She absolutely HATES HER FRIENDS BEING DISRESPECTED!!!

Susumu Yi (@ezalB ): The first being that Daw'Alshsha had communicated with (Besides her cousin) when she first got to Regalia. The two met in the Golden Willow Tavern, growing to be good friends. Susumu generously offered Daw' to become a house mate of his, and she accepted, still living there currently.
Ellahie Decimar (Daevaar)- @SilentEndurance- : Daw'Alshsha's secret Lover, whom she is restricted to only meeting in non-public places. The two met in the park, their relationship only growing from there. Both work as Ivory Warden members.

    Life Story

    ~Early Life~

Daw’Alshsha Kasuf was born in Amkhar, Farah’Deen, to a family of eight, her parents and five brothers. The family owned a dog, which caused Daw’Alshsha to have many scratches and bites. She loathed the dog, yet was always too scared to tell her parents the true reason behind her scratches. After years of her life dealing with the dog, along with some bad experiences with staying up too late and Dire Wolves, she grew to be afraid of any canine she came across. The dog eventually got killed off by a pack of Dire Wolves while hunting for food a little distance away from the city. Daw’Alshsha was overjoyed at this, yet managed to keep her happiness internal, seeing the rest of her family’s grief. The death of the dog meant no extra source of food. Her parents struggled, with what little money they earned in the desolate city, to feed the whole family. The whole family grew thinner and thinner. So they decided to take their chances and move to Hummaneh, the center of all trade and good jobs in Farah’Deen.

~Late early life and on to early teenage years~

The city of Hummaneh brought Daw’s family a new wealth and house, however they struggled to communicate with the others, since they only knew how to speak and write Sofaal. This caused them to plunge into a near poverty once more, until a kind Qadir met with them on the street and offered to teach them all Faraddi. The parents graciously accepted, offering as much money as they had in repayment. The Qadir did not accept the payment, but taught them for free. Alshsha was a faster learner than most of the rest of her family, learning to speak it rather fluently within a couple years. After the Qadir had taught them his language and how to write in it, he simply left their house -in which he had been staying in- without a word, note, anything. Later, when the family had enough money to not be slaving away all day, Daw’Alshsha started participating in the Religious songs and dances of her people. She loved the singing, as she was naturally good at it, but not the dancing. Her instructor, a bald and very tattooed Songaskian woman, told her that she simply had a natural talent for dancing as well as her singing, and to just basically suck it up. She grew to love the dancing as the instructor started providing her with a challenging pattern of dance moves to memorize and perform. She didn’t mind performing in front of so many people, because they all viewed each other as equals under their sun.

    ~Off to Regalia~

Daw’Alshsha was in the middle of practicing one of her religious dances for the sun when her cousin came to her and proposed they head off to the Empire of Riches, Regalia. Daw’ was not easily persuaded, but the more her cousin talked to her about it, the more she wanted to go. Before long, a note was hastily scrawled addressing everyone she knew about her traveling to Regalia in search for a better life, although she will miss her old one. She was about fifteen when she wrote this letter, so it is plain to see why she and her cousin were severely underprepared for that journey that lay ahead of them in the vast Ocean to Regalia. The moment they had set out, all of their precious belongings and a small amount of food packed along with them, they knew they had not thought this journey through enough. Daw’ and her cousin tried to steer the ship back, but they had little experience with sailing and the tide was too strong. They traveled the wrong way for days, not even having set a plan for a route to Regalia. By the time they had realized this error, the cousins had no food, but a fishing rod and materials to cook. Alshsha’s cousin guided the boat onto the correct path -Her cousin had gained more experience with sailing from the past days spent in the water- while she attempted to catch some fish to eat. At first, she only caught perhaps one fish every other hour, and even then, she sometimes lost it. Daw’ came up with several methods to try to catch the fish, a mix of the two working so well that they were able to sustain themselves until they arrived to Regalia.

    ~In the Empire at last~

As soon as the two arrived, they split up to look and apply at various jobs, all of whom could not accept anyone that could not speak common. Daw’ started trying to learn the new language, but sadly -after 5 years- she has still not learned how to speak it as good as a Regalian Ailor, having a vocabulary limited to what she heard on the streets, in stores and various local areas. She now knows enough common to not get lost in the maze of an Empire. Various jobs she is now allowed to work at have kept her with enough money to help pay for the house she shares with Susumu, keep up good hygiene and even purchase the occasional Ale, which she had bought herself and her cousin at the nearest bar in celebration for making it to Regalia alive. She now works as a member of the Ivory wardens while looking for new friends.

    Approved!

Well done on your character application! Though I would like to point out that you could perhaps replace 'Too Helpful' with altruistic or kind? And you're missing the heading of Quirks for the section you have for it.
