₳ traditionalist Daendroque family with deep roots in the crime world of Hallonq, Casa Playero is a close-knit family of patriots and political commentators. Avid proponents of Daen rights, Casa Playero made a name for itself in the lands of Daenshore and Girobalda, before spreading out to other parts of the Empire in recent history. Over the last 40 years, the family has spread out in search of a better life than what the politically volatile Daen territories had to offer. These recent migrations began when the family accumulated enough wealth to search for better living conditions in the tropical paradise of Solacia. Initially, the men of the family worked in the Solacian harbors and shipyards while the women worked as servants in the aristocracy's vacation homes, integrating a firm but less prominent Tolonne lineage into the family bloodline. Casa Playero oversees a questionable dredging company that is, unbeknownst to the greater public, run by slaves and indentured servants.
The family has no patriarch, matriarch, or central authority structure. Instead, a strong emphasis is placed on the individual development and cooperation between relatives for the benefit of the entire family. There is an unspoken understanding in the Playero family that one's actions always reflect on the rest of the family, and that family should work together to strengthen the prestige of their name. The Playero name is a brand that they all agree to contribute to so that they may all benefit from it.
łnitially having arrived to Regalia for the sake of acquiring a more formal education, the current generation of Casa Playero gained infamy in later years for their nefarious involvement in Crown Isle politics. From uncovering a sinister Underworld plot, to unraveling villainous secrets of the aristocracy, and even serving as espionage agents of the Chancellery, the members of Casa Playero have meddled in just about every affair imaginable. Their outspokenness towards the oppression of Daenkind, moreover, has progressively landed them in trouble multiple times, even once having resulted in the death of Isidoro Playero. Proponents of the law just as often as they are evaders of justice, Casa Playero has molded into whatever shape is necessary for their own survival. Evading bounties, crafting political commentary for the advancement of agendas, and engaging with both underworld entities and aristocratic families alike are only some of the many interactions which can be used to describe the family's modern history. As of recently, the family has taken up a managerial position at El Gustazo, a Daen restaurant owned by Fallen Noble House Amaya, which Simone Playero had married into. While Reselda and Mariona Playero moved to Regalia to join Simone, Eloi, and Armando, Xabi Playero resurfaced after having fabricated his own death to avoid capital punishment for previous crimes.
✧El Gustazo - Daedroque Restaurant and Casino: This state of the art Daen hot-spot was founded by House Amaya in order to cultivate Daen culture in Regalia, and is subsequently managed by Casa Playero. Eloi Playero handles the location's day-to-day operations. Reselda Playero can usually be seen serving up a mean Sangria if she is not busy healing locals at the Old Town clinic.
✧The Daendroque Cultural Library: Originally founded as the Daendroque Conservation Society by the late Isidoro Playero, the organization was later transformed into a public library commemorating Daen history. It is owned and ran by Xabi Playero, who often uses it as a front for publishing his political propaganda.
✧Playero - Minería y Dragada: Founded by the Tolonne branch of Casa Playero upon their arrival to Solacia, this dredging company remains as one of the family's main sources of income. Located in the Sun Isles, it is where Xabi and Isidoro spent most of their childhood. It is currently ran by Arquelio and Chita Playero.
M̶embers of Casa Playero can most commonly be identified by their sleek black hair and muddy brown eyes. Standing at stature averagely ranging from 5'5 to 6'0 for both male and females, some members of the family are alternately born with curlier, more voluminous hair of the brown variety. The family skin tone additionally ranges from a beautiful Droquin tan to a paler, more mellow Solacian tint. Often slim and nimble, Playeros often lack in muscle what they make up for with agility. The intermingling between the three branches of Hallonq, Girobalda, and Solacia has made for a slightly more varied genetic pool, with members of the family sometimes being more similar in phenotype to their cousin as opposed to their very own brothers or sisters.

Brother to Reselda, Mariona, and Armando.
Inactive:

✧ Manuel Flores (@AlysaPotato) || This young Daen man was virtually adopted by Isidoro while he (Isidoro) served alongside his brother, Xabi, as Lumi of the Holy Divine Inquisition. Manuel is a talented and hard-working soul, but has gone missing ever since Isidoro perished.
