Life Story The Sun and the moon Emile was born under the setting sun one summer in the small seaside town of Ciden Kulu on the souther coast of Essalonia. His mother, once an ithanian socialite had crossed the seas, leaving everything she knew to settle down with his father, a former Melaakite. Emile grew up in a typical settlement along the coast. The homes were humble, build to endure and life was simple out on the fronteir. From a young age his father would teach him what he knew, in this case how to fight like a Melaakite and how to survie in the wilderness. Emile at first was like most kids and enjoyed feeling like a warrior. But as he grew older he was no longer that fond of it, opting to explore the local area gaining a love for all things geography. After years messing around in the wilderness around Ciden Kulu his time there came to an end. His father, along with many others had not returned from a foolish glory driven quest to kill a Gargantuan Stoneback Phant, an attempt to imitate a Melaakite legend. Days turned into weeks which turned into months. Soon his mother would decide to take him back to her homeland, the lands of Ithania. She found work soon after arriving as a handmaiden for a somewhat wealthy family. A true Grosjean Emile, now much older, had been living with the Grosjean family for a while and had integrated himself into the Grosjean childrens’ circle. By the time Emile was nearing his teans, his mother had succumbed to illness and he was left alone, but still roaming the halls and vineyard of the Grosjean’s home. Soon after an event, Emile ended up rescuing one of the Grosjeans after they were lost deep in the woods, essentially saving their life. As a reward, the orphan was adopted into the Gosjean family, getting a new family. Before the year was over at age 14, he was sent to the city of regalia to attend the Imperial Regalian Marshal Academy, to learn the so called art of warfare and to become a commander. For the next three years he would study there. He fitted in where he could but always kept focusing on what he enjoyed, geography, the study of land and people. After graduating he returned home for a breif period before returning to Regalia to the Regalian Ecological Academy to study geography and geteorology. Return to the east Finally his life being educated was over, he wanted to see the world, especially his old homeland in Essalonia and the Farah'deen coast. He soon found work shadowing a general stationed in the east, helping oversee the Regalian army in the region. Eventually he found himself time off and hopped on a boat from the Masaya north to his home town of Ciden Kulu. One night as he sailed north from the Masaya, towards the straight between the two conitnents, the ship he was on suddenly hit some shallow reef and rocks. The impact sent the lamps and stove fires to spill all over the wooden deck of the ship. Anything saved form the fire was under the waves. Emile, on the top deck at the time managed to escape from the burning ship by diving into the tropical waters and eventually found himself washed up on the nearby sandy shores of Farah'deen. A pair of fishermen soon found the Emile wandering along the shore and took him to thier fishing town. Emile found himself working for is rescurers, loading and unloading thier catch on shore, saving up for another ride to his old home. This work was short lived as he managed to get himself into a fight defending his employers from another merchants thugs. The merchant was furious and pulled some strings, getting Emile imprissoned for a period much longer than he should have. After months spending his days sitting in his cell, he was finally released and used his savings to finally get passage to his old home town. He arrived there at Ciden Kulu but it all felt foregin. It was the same old place, but the faces had all changed. after a while it was time to leave, he didn't belong here and soon found himself on a ship to the city of Regalia after recieving news that his family was settling there. Current day He has now arrived in the city, found himself a dog of the side of the street, and is determined to make a new life for himself.
