There are several scars on his face from getting into fights with other children when he was younger. One most eye catching feature of his face is his nose. Though it is rather large in comparison to everything else, it still goes well with the rest of his features. He also has a distinct Birthmark on his neck, which he inherited from his father, Lorenzo Martinez. This birthmark is noticeable to anyone who comes face to face with him. ➳Body: He is 5’9” and still growing. His sculpted body shape comes from his nonstop active lifestyle. Since turning nineteen his body hair has been growing fast and thick. ➳Fashion: Since being on his own and not having many secure ways to make money, he wears whatever he can get his hands on. And of course, he decided to side with Isidoro. ➳Born on August 13th, 289 AC, in a Hallonq clinic. Manuel Lorenzo Joaquin Alejandro Thiago Vyeno Martinez de Vina Florez was born to his mother Paloma Florez. Around the time Paloma conceived Manuel, she was in Regalia. She only had one lover from Regalia, Lorenzo Martinez. He doesn’t know of the child, because he is dead or missing. But even after she found out she was pregnant, she gave him no notice. ➳After Manuel’s birth, Paloma decided to visit her parents in the City of Daenshore to see if they would help care for Manuel while she worked to afford shelter and food. Of course, they turned her and Manuel away. This left Paloma struggling. Homeless for the first two years of his life, Manuel has no memory of this time. After Manuel was old enough to walk, Paloma let him go off with the neighborhood kids. He’d go play and roughhouse, make bonds, and even get into trouble while his mother worked long hour shifts. ➳At the age of five, he started picking up skills. His mother taught him how to dance, cook, use a scimitar for protection, and how to write in Daendroquin. But she never taught him common, thinking he would never have to speak anything but Daendroquin. He wanted to continue with Blades combat training, and decided to ask his uncle for tutoring. Which he agreed to train Manuel. Of course those aren't the only skills he picked up from his youth. While running around with the neighborhood kids, he learned how to be sneaky and swipe things and some bodycare skills. ➳To outsiders, Manuel’s life looks rough, but to him he had an amazing childhood. From the age of seven until the age of ten, Manuel kept getting into more and more trouble. He’d get caught stealing or breaking into locked stores or stalls. His intention for this was to help his mother financially, so they could keep the small shack that they lived in. But after a while, Paloma was sick of having her child escorted home by the local shop owners. ➳On the night of October 24th, 299 AC, Paloma woke Manuel up and took him to the docks. He was confused and tired but trusted his mother enough to cooperate. When they arrived, Paloma told him he was going to live with his grandparents in the City of Daenshore. Her reasoning was she wanted him to have a better life. So, Manuel went. ➳The journey was longer than usual, but that didn’t mean anything to Manuel as he doesn’t remember the journey from when he was a newborn. Two months later, he arrived in a strange city. One he’s never seen before. There was yelling and people everywhere. The smell of fresh baked food, people pushing carts with an assortment of items on them. He tried to ask where he was, but not knowing common he struggled. ➳After a few weeks, there was a word that stuck out to him. “Regalia.” He figured that's where he was since it was such a common work spoken amongst the people of Regalia. After being found alone at the docks, a group of guards took him to the nearest orphanage and dropped him off. From then on, he’d be in and out of orphanages due to being too violent and short tempered. He’d steal from other children, and fight them if they retaliated. At the age of sixteen, he had his own celebration of becoming a man with the small amount of friends he’s made over the past six years. A small party that was held in an abandoned restaurant in old town was how he celebrated it. ➳At nineteen, he has decided to stop the fighting and foolishness. He wants to make a name for himself, and a good one at that. He recently met a man of Daendroque culture that took him in. He currently lives with Isidoro and his brother Xabi in the upper levels of their library. Manuel is overjoyed by this opportunity. He has the chance to learn new things and make new friends. Though there are rules to living with the Playero brothers, it’s basically paradise for Manuel.

Even though the Martinez family is definitely shelved, I spoke with Alysa about the implications of making Manuel an illegitimate son of Lorenzo. I have consented to these changes and hope that you have as much fun with Manuel as I did when I played the Martinez.
