Prized Roleplay Mechanic: Floral Mender
Aeda has a small private garden behind the Estelley Temple called the Faewell. Within the Faewell is an inactive gateway that only she can open, which leads to a secluded valley in the Anima belonging to the Faecourt of Spring. She can invite anyone to come along into this Valley and stay there for as long as they like, though they can only leave if the portal is open.
Prized Roleplay Mechanic: Floral Priestess
Aeda can summon the Harlequin Summerbane of the Faecourt of Spring, an equivalent of a Demon Duke summoning, though the Demon will not seek to screw her over but still be capricious. If she offers up the blood of important Characters (event /DM NPCs like the Iron Duke / Roca / etc.) Summerbane will give one of her friends a semi-permanent boon inspired by them.
Mechanic: Floral Gardener
Aeda inherits some mechanics from the Yanar, who are tied to Compassion. She can manifest a dream realm in her home, that anyone who sleeps there can travel to, speak to plants and trees (they will only rarely know useful information), and can encourage them to grow. She can also intuit useful information about unique plants, herbs, and animals in Events (Consult DM).
Mechanic: Floral Soulsprout
Aeda can store up to 7 Soulsprouts in her garden by the water pond, which will safeguard the souls of those named. If they should die in Regalia that would result in permanent death, they are instead revived in the Faewell garden, but they cannot leave until a God in Aloria revives them in that world, which is not an easy Divinium ask.
Mechanic: Floral Chosen
Aeda is the 8th Soulsprout in the Faewell garden, meaning she has her own Soulsprout placed. Unlike the others, the Fae will allow her revived body to re-enter Aloria without a God's intervention. The capricious Fae however always take something. Each time Aeda is revived this way, she permanently loses all memories of a Floral Court community member.
Mechanic: Floral Penance
Aeda can, without OOC consent, curse a target to suffer a curse based on a crime (emotional/spiritual/legal) they have committed in front of her (ex. a person who is hurt when they hurt people), and say a path to absolve this crime (ex. a pilgrimage/apology/gift to the victim, etc.). The curse can only be removed if the target follows the path, or by 3 times 8 Proficiency Mages. -

☀︎ Eidolon - Mageborn
As a child of the Arken of Compassion, Aeda was born with a strong connection to the Eidolon and a natural affinity for magic. She began to hone her skills from an early age under the tutelage of local elders and Ordvaan. As she grew, she travelled the Walds to train with prominent mages of the wood.
☀︎ Anima - Magegiven
In her final days in the Selvarian Walds, during a communion with Mana, Aeda was granted Anima magics. Though she did not consider herself a fully fledged Ordvaan until some years later, the additional fount of magic was instrumental in her gradual accumulation of status among the Regalian Estellians. She considers her expectations as Disvaan to be divine duty and the highest honour.

⋆˚✿˖° HERITAGE TRAITS - SELVATH °˖✿˚⋆
☀︎ Animal Masters ☀︎
You can communicate with wild animals in your presence, but they cannot have plot-relevant information or information that would otherwise be metagaming or character-revealing. You can summon a plant and bark-matter mount from the forest anywhere, or call upon a Regalian deer to stride to you as a mount. Finally, you can turn wild beasts into temporary familiars. This may not work on Event Animals.
☀︎ Forest Masters ☀︎
You can (within reason), change how you are perceived, or how others perceive the forest around you while out of Combat. This can include producing animal sounds that imply the presence of predators, disappearing in the canopy as you jump from tree to tree, and generally making the forest a hostile place to be for unwelcome guests. Whatever is done, cannot confer combat benefit or pre-combat positioning.
☀︎ Wood Singer ☀︎
You can use song, music, or hand gestures to reshape wood and other plant-like materials in any shape you like, for example, jewelry or weapons. Other good applications for this are as furniture or decorations inside houses, or to address in-the-moment needs while in the forest, for example by creating wooden bowls, or chairs to sit on that sprout from the roots in the soil.
☀︎ Capitalism Free ☀︎
You cannot be Aristocratic or Nobility in Regalia, but you don't need to either. While Regalians need money to buy things, you can just get anything and everything from the forest for free. You never need to buy clothes or food, and even alchemical ingredients and medicine can be regularly sourced from the woods. Money has no meaning to you and you can extract value for yourself. You have defeated John Locke.
☀︎ Beast Becoming ☀︎
You can use a ritual/ consume/ sacrifice any part of an animal to adopt aspects of it, for example consuming the flesh of a jungle-cat and taking on their hind legs and tail, or sacrificing the pelt of a bear and transforming your arms into bear-claw hands. These changes are temporary (however long you want them to be), can change any body part but never the head, and cannot grant other mechanical uses such as flight.
⋆˚✿˖° MECHANICS - EIDOLON ARKENBORN [COMPASSION] °˖✿˚⋆
☀︎ Eidolon Cast ☀︎
You can change the material of any non-organic substance, like rock, silver, or wood, into Eidolonite, a lightweight and durable pristine light-blue opaque crystal, by touch. Eidolonite overrides all non-geometric shapes into geometric ones, creating perfect hexagonal patterns and shapes. When used as a forging material, Eidolonite cools down to look like ivory with a holographic sheen in hexagonal patterns. Anything touched can change, though it spreads from the hands slowly and not instantly.
☀︎ Long Living ☀︎
You live much longer than the average life span of your heritage. You can live up to three times as long, and visually stop aging at a chosen age (must be at least 21). Additionally, you are immune to non-magical diseases and Afflictions.
☀︎ Emotion Sense ☀︎
You can sense the emotional states of others, even when they are trying to hide it with their expression or body language. This will not detail why or how they came to such an emotion, you will only be able to feel it by looking at them. You can also try to telepathically heighten or lessen these emotions, though it is up to the other player whether this succeeds. -

- She holds fellow Estellon faithful in high regard, and though she is gentle in her criticisms, expects the best from them.

Childhood
Aeda'lyn was born under the light of the flower moon in a quiet Freefolk settlement in the West Selvarian Wald to her Selvath mother Elyncia and the Arken of Compassion. She was raised by her mother and father, Neremyl. The Arkenborn grew up the pair's only child, though she shared her happy home with multiple foster siblings and any number of temporary guests.
Adolescence
When she wasn't helping her father tend to animals or her mother with textile work, the inquisitive Selvath was spending the remainder of her time mentoring under the village Elders, namely the Ordvaan.
Adulthood
Lessons seemed endless, and Aeda spent more time with the Elders than she did her own parents. Though she was never directly chosen as one of their apprentices, the decades of quiet guidance at the hands of the Council shaped the young Arkenborn in ways she would only much later realize.
Regalia
Aeda'lyn travelled to Regalia in the summer of 308 AC seeking knowledge and advancements that her home Elders insisted she wasn't ready for. She ended up finding so much more. In the time since her arrival, Aeda has rooted herself in Floral Court. Through the constant chaos, she found a second family, opened a clinic, became Ordvaan, and welcomed two children of her own.
