Naga Females Do Have Breasts!

I find this thread so titillating.
Would you say it was the breast pun ever?
Any more of these puns and I am gona have to make a total boob of myself in rage.

Well, this thread just got...even weirder.

I came here for the sole reason that the title had. 'Naga females' and 'breasts.'

Nothing socially wrong with that.

I'd come here if it had 'Spartan' and 'Nude fighting' for all I care.

If ya'll really want to continue to berate him for this, maybe you should look in the mirror for a moment. Are ya'll really so perfect that you can mock others? Cause so long as you have one flaw, judging anyone over their preferences just makes you a hypocritical sack of gosa, something that no one wants to be.

It's really peculiar how people seem so very stuck on the idea of all female creatures possessing mammalian reproductive features. Basically what you're saying with this is that you simply will not let go of the sexual appeal in favour of being biologically accurate.
Something being "fantasy" is not a valid reason to completely disregard biology. I would be fine with backing up this claim if you provided me with actual scientific reasons why a female Naga should possess mammary glands and breast tissue.
I.e., are they actually mammals that simply possess a scaly outer shell, and legitimately feed their young in the same manner as humans do? Or are they a part of a completely different phylum altogether that also happens to manifest this trait.

I need more concrete facts to accept this. One picture of someone's OC, who adheres to their un-explained opinion, is not a legitimate argument.

๖ۣۜTo be fair, the person who drew the picture I am pretty sure is the one who reviews and creates some of the lore. The art was done by MonMarty, if you wish to ask for more details on anatomy of the Nagas, since most of us Nagas can hardly agree upon it ourselves. Also, JackTheUnseen found a relatively close anatomy picture, not much, but certainly a help if you need it.

Considering that all races are vaguely descendants of the Seraph as I understand it, it would make sense that we would all share similar traits. Meaning that if female Seraph's had chest cushions, then their descendants would have a chance for the chest cushions. So there's some biology for you to take in.

Someone being in charge of that and drawing the picture still doesn't answer my question. What are the biological reasons for the presence of breasts. I'm not looking to start an argument, but with such an astronomical departure from what should be, it would be a rest to my conscience to know what the reasoning is behind this. God forbid it simply being sex appeal.

Additionally, being descended from one species does not excuse this. With such huge differences between the species as it stands, breasts would have been phased out by now unless there was a reason for them.

Perhaps, perhaps not. You are not a Slither, or even a Naga. Therefore, I am not going to really hold you opinion all that high. You have a right to have it, but I have an equal right to ignore it.

๖ۣۜYou asking a question from ones who don't know doesn't really answer it much either. As I mentioned, ask MonMarty or someone of the lore staff. There is also a section of the forums dedicated for answering questions, the Help Central. Try there man, it'll be more helpful than us! XD

Exactly, isn't that the greatest thing about being civil. You don't have to agree with me. You don't even have to like me. But at least we can agree to have separate opinions and not fight about it. *Thumbs up.*

Though if anyone else wants to approach me with explanations of this phenomenon, please do. I'm interested in hearing of them.

Well, for starters there is the fact that it is entirely possible that nagan women to in fact use their breasts when they raise children. It'd be a bit inconvenient, but it'd be possible. It would depend on the size of the egg clutches, the rate of the hatching compared to each other, and how the Naga raised these clutches.

I really don't understand why you argue when it's been pointed out that one of the writers of the lore designed the picture and anatomy. I mean, they created it, they shouldn't have to listen to people argue over what their creations have and don't have.

Alright nevermind, it's getting pretty clear that people aren't interested in actually talking about this.

Miss Suzzie, I was not arguing, for clarification. Simply inciting a conversation on a topic I'm interested in.. That topic being the design, biology and overall creation of alien and non-human species. No harm meant and no harm done ;)

It kinda looked like you were arguing though... But alrighty then~

I don't think so. He is only proving a point on this thread, so it's safe to assume he's not to different from all of the other heterosexual men. But she's probably still safe... because she's twelve.
I was joking... Obviously I realize he doesn't fantasize about reptilian humans, and even if he WAS, meh, it wouldn't really matter.

Lore/RP staff rarely check help central, Q&A thread would be better for questions of that sort

Thank you. *cuddels*

I always figured they were like air pockets for the Maiars. (Jk I never thought that.) Maybe female Nagas don't actually have breasts. Perhaps those are just heated pads.
I saw the heating pad thing on tumblr... Lan'se would totes do that...

*thinks about lizarding about again*
@Kellock93

I can see how you people who are complaining about Naga's having breasts would be correct on this matter if Naga's were in the real world, but they're not. This is a world where vampires, Elves, and giant cats that talk are normal. Not everything has to be realistic. And who knows, there might be a purpose for Naga's breasts. You could always, you know, ASK the roleplay staff instead of screaming at them about their "unrealistic" lore.

Well, no where in lore did they mention that they had breasts. it was just kinda.. thrust upon us because someone payed for art and wanted to prove that they where a thing.

I play my female Naga without them because they have not uses and would just get in the way. Granted my character is short but that is because of how I play her. plus i am one of the only Lizar[*?] wandering about. everyone is ether a slither or a whatever the horned ones are i cant names atm.

I'm not trying to flame or anything but that is my opinion.

It's not written on the lore because it doesn't really matter, unless you're confused about what to do with the breast option in the More Player Models mod.

For those who said that this thread was not worth posting: I personally had a wonderful time reading through this, and I smiled almost the entire time reading everyone's reactions. Also, I am one of the very slim few who roleplay as a naga and one of the even slimmer few who roleplay as a female naga, and even slimmer few that's opinion or view could be changed completely by one tiny detail, so this was extremely helpful. Elaborating on that last remark, I personally love the small details in writing, because I believe that they bring a completely new side to a character, story, event, location, etc.

want an answer? mabe i have one: sex appeal? the male nagas liked it so the ones without got almost no childs wich resulted in the female nagas keeping them?
God forbid it simply being sex appeal.
oops (chuckle)
