The call of the Arena rings often in the Undercity, but this time the Hexenblood Circle and the Undercroft offers a different sort of sporting fight: not against your fellow Undercity Dwellers, but against magic itself. Pick a singular ally and step into the Starlit Arena, wherein you and your friend will face off against any manner of summoned magical monsters for great prizes and glory. Participants can choose from a variety of Gambits, which will alter which monsters they fight, how they fight them, and ‘where’ they fight, with each Gambit offering more points for the completion of the battle. Whichever team has the most points at the end of 2 Rounds is the Victor, but should a team fail to complete a round, they will be eliminated. Risk it all with two challenging fights for guaranteed victory as you are showered in points? Or play it safe with lower difficult and hope your opponents are eliminated? Regardless, any teams who dawdle in their fights will be at the mercy of the Audience, who is capable of enforcing penalties onto the teams, changing the arena, their enemy, or weakening them in the process: please the audience with good showmanship and you are more likely to survive. We'll be hosting the "final" re-scheduled version this Thursday at 4pm CST, and then once that's completed we'll be transitioning this event format to a bi-weekly occurrence at that same time/date with improved format! Rewards for this first round will be handed out after Thursday if everyone has gotten a chance to compete.
Thanks to everyone who came, due to time constraints we ended up slimming the brackets down to 1 rounds each. Final standings ended up as: 1st place: Burning Constellation (1k Regals) 2nd place: Sires of Synergy (200 regals) 3rd place: The Crew (Free Drinks for a Month Token) Regals will be sent this week in Progressions, split between the duo's.
