Void Sight | A darkening of the whites of one’s eyes and the skin surrounding their eyes. Void Rot | Blood becomes coagulated and appears almost rotten after it leaves the body. Vampiric Form Mutations. (Active) Spoiler: Mutation Abilities *Auld Varlord | Constant | Passive Self | This Mutation causes the Vampire’s anatomy to take some changes, incorporating more bat-like anatomical features. This Mutation is active in both Vampiric Form and Non Vampiric Form. Their browbone becomes more distinctly V-shaped, while their chest forms webbed skin with their arms, and their muscularity alters to become alien to those who are used to more humanoid anatomy (see art here and above). Additionally, the Physical Stat limit for this Bloodline is raised by 10 (but no free Physical Stat is given). Finally, they have prehensile feet, giving them the ability to grasp items. This allows their feet to wield weapons at the same proficiency as their hands, for them to hold onto objects or structures with the feet or throw objects with their feet, as long as they do not wear any shoes. This Mutation can be used outside of Vampire Form It also remains active even after the person has been cured of Vampirism. *Auld Bloodwar | Vampire Spell | Self | This Ability grants the Vampire the means to summon blood-sung weapons made out of crystallized blood with the toughness of steel. They can summon one weapon (or two if they dual-wield), but they cannot give these weapons to anyone else, as when they leave their hands, the weapons disintegrate. After disintegration, this Ability goes on a 20-second cooldown. This Ability can summon ranged weapons also, but any and all weapons including ranged obey Proficiency mechanics. Additionally, projectiles shot with a Bloodsung bow will be made out of Bloodsung material also. Bloodsung arrows somewhat disintegrate in travel to their target, before splashing onto them in puffs of red smoke. This does not cause actual wounds, but does equivalent harm to the target as if they were actually hit with an arrow. Finally, Bloodsung weapons can be exploded while in the hands of the Vampire. This causes a shockwave that pushes everyone (excluding the Vampire) within 8 blocks back by 3 blocks, but does not knock them off their feet, yet will interrupt charges or Channel Abilities. If this mechanic is used, this Ability goes on a 1 hour cooldown. *Auld Bloodcry | Vampire Spell | Emote Distance | The Vampire when having inflicted a wound on an opponent or victim that is actively drawing blood, can “rip” this wound from anywhere in Emote Distance to cause additional damage. After landing the hit, the Vampire has up to 5 minutes to trigger the Bloodcry as long as they remain in Emote Distance, and when activated, it causes a slash of blood to rip from the wound, which causes pain to the victim and causes them to stagger to a kneeled position before recovering. This can only be used once per wound, and only one Bloodcry can be used every 5 minutes on the same target. The Bloodcry stagger will cause any charging, Channel Abilities or timed actions or Abilities to cancel or reset where applicable. *Auld Flocking | Toggle Passive | Self | This Ability can be toggled on and off. While toggled on, the lower half of the Vampire from the waist down becomes obscured by a flock of bats rapidly fluttering and flying around the base of their feet, lifting them up to a foot off the ground, while some bats also fly around them for aesthetic purposes. These bats cannot be attacked, but while this toggle is active, the Vampire cannot take falling damage and will always float downwards, while any Ability that would cause their feet to be restrained or trapped or snared does not affect them (though damage effects still apply if there are any). *Auld Embrace | Vampire Spell | Self | Any leather-tier or above armor worn by the Vampire is automatically as strong as platemail tier armor, however any leather-tier or above armor worn by the Vampire also gains weakness to Archan Lineage Ailor, Dragon Warriors, Archblood, and Sihndar who ignore the armor all together with their attacks, striking straight through. This Mutation can apply outside of Vampire Form. Racial Abilities Mage Blooded. (3 Free Sorcery Spells. Dormant.) Spoiler: Darkness Sorcery and Spirit Sorcery, Darkness Sorcery. Spreading Darkness: The Sorcerer can activate a shrouded mist by spreading their hands out, reaching up to emote distance. Those in this mist will be unable to see within two blocks in front of themselves unless they have +10 Perception Training in which case they will be able to traverse. Shadows Embrace: The Sorcerer can recite an incantation and which allows them to suddenly vanish then appear at someone else's shadow. This takes one remote to do and can be used once an hour. Spirit Sorcery. Faces of Life: The Sorcerer can change their own Race after meditating uninterrupted for an hour. After this meditation, they quickly change Race. Anyone with 5 Bodycare or 5 Perception can see through the effects of this spell. Void Sire: Vaalek, Sire of Rage. Raging Fire. Kathar becomes cloaked in void fire, painfully searing anything or anyone that enters a 1 block range of them, or physically touches them. Kathar is immune to pain, but not immune to harm or damage. Raging Ascendant. Kathar gains claws that are able to shred skin, and with repeated strikes, even shred through metal. The claws regrow within a day if cut or dulled or removed, and are strong enough that would allow them to claw through cell bars. Raging Makers. The Kathar is able to, in mockery of the creators, turn their hair into red or black Void Fire. This fire does not produce light or heat, but does obey gravity and the movements of the Kathar. It can also set their tattoos alight. Visual Information Body Stat: Muscular. Body Fat: Extreme Low. Eye Color: Red. Hair Color: White. Hair Style: Shaved hawk. Skin Color: Ashen Grey. Religion: Void Worship 10/10 Life Story Childhood *Viroul is born to Erran Tordove and Ysirra Luxildir in the massive city of Paärthalaär. In the slums of the military controlled city. Marching and chants being the first things he ever heard. *As the eldest son of Erran, there were incredibly high expectations for the boy. He was destined to make something of himself for his family. *All of his youth was dedicated to preparation for warfare and to cut down those who opposed the Dread Empire. Cruel and sadistic tactics were used to mold the minds of the young Kathar. *Loyalty to the Dread Empire was instilled in the mind of Viroul at a young age. *He was separated from most all of his siblings at a young age but remained close with them in secret as he began more intense, aggressive training the older he got. Adolescence *The training of the now teenage Kathar was fierce and brutal. He was forced to take out comrades in order to prove his competence as a fighter. *As he aged, Viroul became numb to most of his emotions that once plagued him at the start of his training to become a Paladin of the Dread Empire. *His ambition and willingness to serve went unmatched for the duration of his youth. He often violently imposed his will upon those he faced or trained with. Tendencies that ran in his family. *After three decades of training, Viroul was named a Paladin of the Dread Empire, first of his class and among his peers who he was either forced to butcher or beat down into submission. *With his training complete, Viroul aided the Dread Empires crusade against the Altalar Race leaving death and despair in his wake whilst representing the Prefect of Power. The Prefect he felt that he embodied and represented. He believed himself to be a vessel of the Sceptre Lord. Adulthood *With this found purpose in mind, Viroul tasked himself to become the greatest Paladin in the Dread Empire's history. With his zeal, strength, and ambition he believed to be unmatched by any of his peers. This made him no friends among the Paladins. Yet, none could deny his skill. *Battle after battle he grew his name and forged a legacy among the ranks of the Paladins of the Dread Empire. He championed himself to be the true embodiment of the Sceptre Lord with all of his accolades and victories. *He served faithfully for many decades as a Champion of the Prefect of Power until the very end of the war between the Regalian and Dread Empire when the Dread Dragon left the field of battle with the Imperial Dragon. *Ashamed and beaten, he lost all faith in the Saivale hierarchy for their failure to capitalize on their numerically superior force in order to deal a killing blow that would force the Regalians to call for peace and allow them to keep the lands they occupied. *Viroul viewed those who surrendered as spineless cowards. Being unable to watch the Dread Empire crumble and become a shadow of its former self he chose to leave and begrudgingly find his siblings who he learned had travelled to the Holy City of Regalia a year prior.
