The Chancellor's Contingent is a militant organization working under the behest of the Lord Chancellor of the Empire. The members of the Contingent take orders directly from the Lord Chancellor and acts upon her will, and obeys her demands without question. Due to their prestigious position in the line of Government in accordance to the political authority of the Lord Chancellor, the Contingent is able to act and perform without the facing legal intervention from any other organizations in Regalia.
The members of the Contingency adorn a pitch black armor from which they can easily be identified. Their job is not only to enforce the ordinances of State Law, but to enforce the policies and demands of the Lord Chancellor, which clarifies that their job is more political in comparison to other organizations that operate within the borders of Regalia.
Below are the rules and basic information regarding the organizational stature of the Chancellor's Contingent.
- The Chancellor's Contingent may only consist of 15 members, including the Commandant and the Captain. Members can be part of other Charters in the same time, however, none of these members can hold a rank of Captain or above in the Violet Order or the Holy Inquisition while working in the Contingent.
- The Commandant of the Contingent is appointed by the Lord Chancellor and the Commandant can only be fired by the Lord Chancellor or by the Emperor. The Commandant may additionally appoint a Captain from the ranks of the Contingent whom they see fit for the job.
- Any arrest made by the Contingents will cause the prisoner to be taken to Krakenburg and not to Greygate. Due to any arrest being made essentially being a military warranted arrest, they fall under prisoners of war or high political criminals and have to be arrested there.
- The Contingent do not hold the right to utilize military grade armor and weaponry. And they have no right to physically offend any individual in the City without a direct order from the Commandant or the Lord Chancellor, save for self-defense scenarios. The Contingent only have access to military grade should the Lord Chancellor deem it so, allowing scrutiny should they do so.
- The Chancellor's Contingent carries out the Chancellor's will, meaning that in theory the Chancellor's orders exceed State Law and thus, the Violet Order may not intervene.
Lord Chancellor
The Lord Chancellor is the top of the hierarchy in the Contingent and issues orders to them, as well as the two thousand Tenpennies in her service. She does not partake in the operations of the Contingent, but issues orders and warrants upon them, which the Commandant and the rest of the militia acts upon. As the background leader of the militia and the Chancellor of the Empire, her rights and permissions are only questionable to the Emperor.

The Lord Commandant is, as its name suggests, the Commander of the Chancellor's Contingent. They take orders directly from the Lord Chancellor and then act upon said orders with the rest of the Contingents. The Commandant is only answerable to the Lord Chancellor and no other authority in Regalia, save for the Emperor. By extension, the Commandant also rules over the two thousand Tenpenny troops in service to the Chancellor of the Empire.

The Captain is the direct advisor and second-in-command of the Contingent. The Captain does not have free reign to issue orders and warrants, but may organize and lead missions, arrests and other militant excursions when ordered to do so without the presence of the Commandant. The Captain is extensionally a Captain in the Lord Chancellor's two thousand Tenpenny troops, under leadership of the Commandant.

The Contingents are the bulk force of the militia, who take orders from their superiors and then enact them accordingly. The Contingents carry military grade weapons and armor, and their work may not be interfered with by any other organization in Regalia.
Limited to a number of 13 with the Commandant and Captain being the other two. Limit currently not reached.
If your character is not Captain or above in any other guard organization, you are free to apply. There are no requirements other than the aforementioned expectation. That being said, rejections may happen without a clarified reason for the sake of maintaining fairness.
