Overview

Intelligentsia Regalia is an emerging social guild dedicated to the academic debate and discussion on topics of interest to Regalians. The guild succeeds the Open Ocean Merchant Guild in terms of it being a new project envisioned by the House Black, and thus brings with it many of the formats that made the Open Ocean Merchant Guild highly successful during its term in the Crown City. Intelligentsia Regalia is not a financial or trade guild, however.

Topics of interest to Intelligentsia Regalia that may generate academic discussion include, but are not limited to: military matters; economics, business and trade; literature; and more. The key goal of the guild is to generate intellectual debate; that is, for members to retire from the guild hall at night with a sense of having participated in a casual, relaxing and yet intellectually stimulating activity after their normal day at work. Intelligentsia Regalia currently does not collect membership fees, relying on donations from its members to cover its running costs.
