I write to you in good faith, finding that during our recent conversation by the Old-Town Barricade that you are now hiring non-combatant staff members and upon making the position, gaining one of those adorable berets! Regardless, I've gotten off-track. My past experiences include the writing of various short novella, descriptors of animals and landscapes in both the Genevaud Mountain Ranges, Anglia and Regalia as well as scribing letters and formal documents for the Ex-Baron of Langthal Diepold III Kreiburg and now serving as a make-shift 'adjudicator' for my family's house guard in which I am considered to be public relations as much as not even the guards know I do the job.

I have spent my thirty years, or the majority thereof, writing stories, letters, poetry, scribing and more recently writing Haikus; making me a decent enough candidate for the position. My other talents include diplomacy, as far as it has gotten me out of a fair few conflicts and earned me a fair amount of favour in the past though I shan't waffle on about it.

Dear Commander Typhonus,

I'm writing to you with an interest to rejoin the charter, as it was brought to my attention that an opening has just been made. While I'm aware it deals with the arcane, and those with abilities of their own have a higher chance of being accepted in your ranks, I'm proficient with the longsword and have plenty of experience within the guard. Previously, I had worked as a Captain within the Arcanum, under both Nym'vrae Helvath and Wilvamair Arnyn's command. I assisted during the Clicker Crisis, and before was a member of the Vigilant Shield, as well as the Storm Sentinels. In truth, I miss my job, as I've come to the realization that no other life is better suited for me than this one.
