The Register of Merchants is up and running again. This time around, let's restrict it to businesses that are legal (in terms of Regalian law) and have an actual, physical shop or office in Regalia. Included with the registration form in the first post of this thread is the opportunity to include a screenshot of your shop or office as you would in an advertisement in a newspaper. Trading companies are also welcome to register provided that they can provide a physical location of an office in Regalia.

Taking registrations now! The old register will be wiped clean and new ones added. Upcoming events for merchants will announced soon!

Is the one I made a couple weeks ago still valid?

Also, I'm a little confused on what I should be doing IC with this. Do this group of merchants and shop owners do any in-game events together?

There will be in-game events, yes. These will range from formally organised, larger events for the merchant class with the opportunity to mingle with the nobility, to smaller events and meetings. Something that we can aim for as a group includes petitioning the State Council for official guild recognition. There'll also be periodic publications of the Merchant Directory as in-game books that are distributed (book and quill style) in the mustering hall to advertise all registered businesses.

The entry that you registered is valid. I'll add that to the registry now. If you ever get a location in Regalia, post an update here and I'll add that too.

Do you have anything to show that you actively RP in terms of your business? E.g. a character app. (peer review is fine) or a family registration or even an office in Regalia set up in-game? Something that shows that you're active in Regalia in terms of merchant-related RP? The reason that I'm asking for this is that it's very expensive for a commoner family to own more than one ship and you have a trading company, so this has to be kept in mind when you RP. I might tag @Shayin for some staff guidance on this (i.e. how many ships a commoner could expect to be able to own trading company wise?) because I want to try to enforce lore compliant and realistic RP as much as possible as far as the guild is concerned.

yeah here is the family registration link, its already been approved, as for merchant rp experience, i haven't rp as him in a week or to so i'm kinda rusty to be honest, but i can get back into the swing of it

I can add you now if you like, then get the office locations from you when you have them. (On the thread clean-up, I don't mind all the old posts remaining because I like to look back on the history now and then, but I'll keep the original post updated with current information, yep.)
