I Just Like To Throw....

1) Buy 15 horses
2)Become a dwarf
3)Get 12 other dwarves, a human, and a wizard
4) Go on an epic quest to a mountain to reclaim treasure and restore a dwarven kingdom
5)Become the new dwarven king of the restored dwarf kingdom
6)Invade Regalia and become emperor
7)Profit.

None of that ??? nonsense. I have my master plan down.

I can't see hobbits being in massivecraft, it would just... eh... get to hobbity

This would be so unfair for non premiums. They are already over powered compared to non premiums. So shush.
Premiums aren't overpowered.
Your a noob, get out.
Bornasepic is one of the best PvP'ers on the server.[DOUBLEPOST=1366139685,1366139473][/DOUBLEPOST]
1) I can't name a single RL leader who ever led their men into battle from the front. All GOOD generals lead from the rear, where they can direct troops without dying.
2) The best offense is a good defense. My main focus, due to my dislike of pvp, is in defensive indestructibility. My castle is a maze of underground tunnels, iron doors, and seemingly random exits and entrances. It was built to be unbreachable, and the /f home itself cannot be access by an enemy without help from someone within the faction or allied to it.
3) If someone attacks me without my knowing, I never strike back. This is to ensure I keep all my items, even if it means I will die. It is a perfectly valid means of passive strategic action.
4) I do believe the 'cake' joke went waaaaay over your head. View attachment 4763

In more ancient times, it was customary for more tribal or warlike barbarian nations to have a warrior king that would lead their soldiers into battle. Back in the beginning of civilization, good kings and leaders were judged by their strength and power.

I agree that it is smarter for a leader to be a strategist, and stay behind, but Massive is more related to older times so I could understand if some factions roleplayed in a more primitive form of warfare.

I'm not even going to fight this.
I assume you are referring to the "prem's aren't overpowered" bit, as most of the other comments I made were not opinions. I will now provide my reasoning.

1. Premiums can wear diamond. Pretty big difference, right? Not necessarily. You see, the protection rating from iron to diamond is actually very minimal, the main perk about diamond is it lasts much longer. Premiums have the advantage of perhaps not needing to repair/make armor as often, however on a fight to fight basis this is a small difference.
2. Premiums lose a lot less when they die. I agree, this is pretty big. However it minimally affects the outcome of the fight, just how the person reacts at the end of the fight.
3. MCMMO cooldowns are shorter. This is not really that significant, other than maybe premiums will get to use a skill perhaps once more during a fight.

I'm not going to dispute the fact that premiums have an advantage. However there are many non-prems out there who are on the same level as premiums. Take me for example, I'm premium and I'm a terrible fighter, although that is more credited to my actual skill than the fact that I'm premium. What really matters in a fight is items like potions, enchanted gear, and enderpearls, as well as MCMMO skill levels, and finally, the actual combat reflexes of the individual. Being premium won't turn a bad fighter into a good one, and being non-premium won't turn a good fighter into a bad one.

This is going to be pretty awkward if you weren't talking about premium, and something else I said. Regardless, I feel that these points needed to be made. It's only fair that premium has a slight advantage anyways, without them we wouldn't have Massive at all. (Note: I'm not saying premium players are in any way more important, just that the privileges they receive are reasonable.)

And with all the crazy axe men out there, this doesn't last long either. I remember going through one fight with Magnanimus in aqua, and they had torn my armor down to half it's durability in one round.

True, I actually thought about that after I made the post. I would certainly consider the durability the biggest issue, but #1 not everyone has ridiculous axes levels, and #2 Diamond can still get shredded as well. But of course, I'm not saying that premium don't have some decent advantages, but they are not overpowered.
