If horses can end up breeding, I agree. If not, some sort of alternative is needed. There's prestige and then there's being damn near impossible to get ;)

Naturally people would be trolls and take one horse for themself then kill every other horse they lay eyes on. So yeah an alternative would definitely be needed. I'm pretty sure they'll make horses breed-able .

If im seeing correctly it is wearing armor would a premium ability be included to all keeping of that armor on horses death?
 
I think that Horses are going to put a rather Unique spin of the rather bland wars of MassiveCraft. Can't wait.

I'd be cool if you could make a certain food/beverage for the horse and when they consume it, they become one of the four horses of the Apocalypse. THAT would be cool. Like one could leave Mycelium on the ground instead of grass, or another leaves a trail of fire.

As cool as that would be not possible to much greif and or troll and or messages saying you cant place blocks in enemy territory
 
Suggestion:
Like cannons, nonprem guy can make it, but it says '' U don't know how to fire this thing'', You could make like, same for horses that nonprem guys can tame it, but can't ride it, it would says like '' You don't know how to ride horse'', and stuff like those :)
 
Will the horses be in every land or on just one? Hmmmmmm?

Pre-bred? Mass produced? You'll find only the purest of thoroughbred lines at the Argos stables my friend! Much nobler than the average rubbish you find in the wild. Those untamed beasts couldn't take a bit if their lives depended on it!
 
If Horses are breedable then they will probably be no more valuable then any other animal, cheaper in fact, since u can just ride them to a location (faster/safer then luring via food).

Hisoka calls dibs on all horses in Ithania. You have to pay us 5s per horse you find :P

True but they are also steal able i imagine and they will wear armor which could be provided in the package with the horse
 
I think making them premium only would be a bad plan, horses would make travelling faster and more interesting- premium only would of course reduce who gets them. Also it would be a vanilla feature disabled, not an extra feature only some can use like portals.

It would be cool if a player rides under a something three blocks low they get knocked off and suffer a few hearts damage. Perhaps only if they are over a certain speed and/or aren't ducking (if they put in a duck). It would probably add an interesting dynamic to riding.
 
Is that.. Is that an armored horse? Better start construction of some stables now!

Yeah, but that would add too much to the Premiums. Many non-prems are already left at their own base in raids, and if only prems come in wars on horseback as Elves with Power IV bows, you wouldn't be thinking it as good an idea.
I mean, diamond armour, usually high McMMo, AND a horse? This would comepletly rule out all the non-prems, making them completely useless, obsolete, and downright fragile in battle. McMMo, can be fixed. Prem? Not always, and horse only for prems, I mean, that would get more donations, but then again, those that CAN'T donate and just want to be on the server would basically be frightened-to-death nomads or something.[DOUBLEPOST=1365825672][/DOUBLEPOST]

I don't really raid myself, i send my singular soldier to do it. I don't hide in my house, i have no problem with you, i see no reason to fight you. If you cannot raid me successfully then why do you say i'm a coward? If you're in my house then i may or may not fight. The point is i'm not your enemy, and you can't raid me. Your argument is invalid, we have cake.

See, this is why you have so many enemies. "We have cake," so what? Cake isn't that precious, and to the point.
1) Only a true leader would lead their soldiers into battle
2) People can't raid you successfully because they can't get into your houses because they are all locked with little Aliay people in them.
3) So, if I was in your house and hitting you with a Diamond Sword you would be like "Ohai! You are apparently killing me, that looks like fun I must try it some time!"
