@Devoruku What do you think of trees like these? They use dark oak logs and spruce leaves (darkest color leaves I could find). I whipped this up pretty quickly, so don't expect a masterpiece:

while they look good I'm still going to stick with the dulofall theme the island has such as mushroom caverns, tribal shender villages, maybe a dead and rotten Nenya and a lot of ash-covered dead trees. I'll also try and find a way to add the fog that covers the island to add a nicer look and feel. I like the trees they are just not what I'm after and I'm okay with help, cheers for offering though~

I've thought of making a Essa Empire themed city on my own time, but I'm not terribly good with world edit, mcedit, or building in general, so that's going to have to wait. Good looks so far! ;>
