The Viridian Times ~ Issue 1

After spending an hour selling copies in the streets of Regalia, it was a hit! Next issue will definitely have more content and such and Ill probably lower the price as well
 
You know, its funny what happened to the morals of this server. Osai has been constantly raided for the last month and people believe that a peaceful faction shouldn't fight back. Well its obvious that even a diluted sense of production towards "cleansing the world of evil" is going to attempt to desecrate one of the most prominently good factions on the server. Yes, Alamut was absurd with their raids, but so was everyone else on Osai. Beyond that point, if you can really believe that an RP faction, on an RP server shouldn't exist, there are major moralistic problems going on. I find it sad that this server is becoming completely based on pvp, EVEN though it says "medieval rp" on the warp to the main worlds. It seems like the common idiocy of these people is speading to those inable to choose between right and wrong, which is the ONLY reason they are able to continue. Now if this post is deleted, and i believe it will be, I'll have you know it will be a major mistake, considering I will have a screenshot.

While many of you seem either very excited about this or rather flustered and angry I hope you all stay tuned for the next issue, I will be making sure to keep in mind the many suggestions that have been made such as roleplay-ish old paper.

I've quoted myself far too many times now. Your grievance does not seem to be with the Paper but with the Crusade. So instead of well, flaming my newspaper on the forums, talk to me in game. I'd gladly explain and debate such things while in character but I've had enough with people reading one single section of the paper and then flipping out. The paper is meant to entertain and inform of MY opinion, and in this case Grailens as well, so if there is something that is a matter, talk to us without further adding to the flame.

I'll not delete it for once then like I have with the others, and give a very simple response to a message which, much like the previous one, does not add anything to the thread, defaces the server, and is completely off topic and thread hijacking.

You don't get to claim harassment any more due to the anti harassment and peace regulations rule we implemented several months ago. Surrender, is an option open to anyone, an easy one with very little effort. If you quit the server because you refuse to surrender in a war which you are clearly losing, then no value is lost.

This will be the only message I will tolerate on the matter concerning Osai on this thread or the forum in general for that matter, the staff's response is adequately expressed.

It is funny to assume that i was talking about the crusade, when i was talking, I meant the server as a whole.
 
Thinking back when I was an ally to Osai. I REGRET removing my locked chest from their desert base.

So you even hated it when I was leader? -cries like a 5 year who dropped their icecream-;(- haha. I'm honestly not sure if I should be sad for Osai overall or sad for Gwen that her faction collapsed. She made a good run though :)

MonMarty Any chance I can get my old faction to become permanent should it get to the point of disbanding? Would be sad to see Hollows End collapse into a griefed up ruin filled with signs saying "screw Osai".

I never knew you lead Osai. If Osai falls, well that's too bad. I probably would be sitting at their faction base and waiting for it to be disbanded. At the same time, claim the main base on an alt faction to prevent anyone to loot it except my allies from looting it.

I think you should be sad for people who think making people quit a server is the right way to deal with them.

-unleashes the ragemonster- I already have a faction with which I can claim the base, then you can't claim within 16 chunks (which is pretty much the entire base) so MWAHAHAHAHA! j/k, but seriously I'm going to make an effort to preserve Hollows End (or at least the ruins I suppose).

I've snooped around Osai while I was an ally to them. I know where I want to loot. I don't need the whole base.

OctoberGwen - Do try not to let the first faction I actually founded disband. I'll buy it off ya if you don't want it, enemies and all haha :P

Pretty sure she said somewhere that she'd never disband/pass it off.

Also, nice articles, Bsavs. Too bad I have to keep my head down now that the Inquisition is back. >.>
 
This Friday, you all can expect The Viridian Times ~ Issue 2!
Expect more information on events, more laughs and... more flame wars?

Anyways, I think for the next issue I'll make the in game version more laden with the sweet, pungency that is propaganda and this forums version full of a few more comics/memes that I've made.

As well, courtesty of an anonymous Viridian, there will an advice column in the next issue so feel free to send in your problems or questions to me in game or on the forums.

No affense, but from what I've heard Osai had it coming....
No one expects them not to fight back, but there is a reason others are raiding them.
 
Mecharic MonMarty I would rather see Osai getting permanent or at least handed over to someone who would still be in Massive such as Qgmk take it over or someone who is near to Gwen and friends of Osai then seeing it disbanded. I am sad and i don't feel sorry for Gwen, but i do feel sorry for her in a point that all what she created in Osai got crushed by people who just won't give up. Maybe it was a time for Osai to surrender, but this went way more far away. Mecharic I didn't know you when you were the leader of Osai or when you created it. But i'm glad you did and i'm glad you handed over the leadership to someone who has a great responsibility and a big heart for her members.
