History
Freshly graduated from the Regalian Naval Academy and ready to impress his aristocratic family - Horatio De La Riviére quickly began recruiting the citizens of the empire to formulate a fleet that would assist the Regalian Navy in their endeavours. Being rather politically liberal, the Silver Lining Fleet takes all races onboard and has a loose hierarchy based upon meritocracy rather than descent.

The Silver Lining Fleet was deployed at the end of the War of the Dread Empire to assist the Regalian Navy in bombarding the shoreline of the Moors in order to secure a victory in the war. Since then, the fleet has continued to expand its numbers and show that anybody from any background can rise to perform great feats of heroism for the empire.

Hello there Admiral, I am Cazzlyzza Mu-Yaotl, the only Allar with a boat besides the Qar-Digmaan, at least in Regalia. This may not be your usual applicant, but I assure you that I am very good at what I do, owning a galleon-level boat called Crozlazassa. My ship has some of the best mariners us allar can offer, all of them containing Keel-Allar, which can last underwater for many days. We are a ranged crew, most of my Keel-Allar are some of the best archers that Karfanth can offer, though they all have at least a dagger for close-combat. I hang my Qar-Digmaan's colors proudly and I will remain strictly loyal to him over anyone, but that does not mean I cannot be useful. I hope that I can be of use to you.

After speaking with my captains directly I have come to the conclusion to extend you a trial period of 1 month within the fleet. If your conduct is found to be in bad taste we shall have you stripped of rank and sent back to the Qar-Digmaan with little ceremony. I have lived most of my life at sea. I was quite literally born among the tides. I'm an ovirran myself, born for the ocean. Every evening I catch my dinner out of local schools by hand. I have knowledge of every maiar colony for many miles, and I have lived through encounters with the lot of them. I have worked on boats before and have the knowledge to work the rigging of anything sloop-sized, but I'm also ready to learn the workings of the royal fleet itself. I've fought in high tide and low tide. I've been above and below the deck of a ship. I may not have any formal schooling, and only a small hint of military service, but I assure you that I am quite adept at seafaring.

I hope you'll consider me for position and that I can make a great addition to your company.

We already have Varran aboard the ship and would not mind the inclusion of another aboard our ranks. Especially one that is already so well-acquainted with the sea such as yourself. We'll get you more versed in vessels of higher classes than a Sloop as time goes on, so have no worry of that. Welcome aboard.

Yet another of the Kra'zzla find their way to our fleet. As with the previous I've of his kin I've no qualms on placing you under his command.
