ᛒᛖ ᛈᚱᛖᛈᚨᚱᛖᛞ ᚠᛟᚱ ᚦᛖ ᚠᚢᛏᚢᚱᛖ (Be prepared for the future) The Uglhengiven Fleet is the term for the collective fleets that have for two hundred years served the most noble and ancient House Viduggla, taking charge of aquatic warfare as well as for the House and the Empire’s commercial shipping efforts and overseas expansions. As one of the oldest House navies in Regalia, the Uglhengiven Fleet has a stable chain of command and organization to manage the vessels that serve House Viduggla, holding above all its interests and playing a key role in the political spectrum of the north and of the Empire. Despite the fact the navy is effectively commanded by the House Admiral, the Patriarch of House Viduggla holds supreme authority over the fleet. House Admiral (Admiral): The House Admiral is the main Commander of the Fleet, a position appointed by the Patriarch of the House. The House Admiral retains administrative and advisory duties to the fleet, commanding the Uglhengiven in times of war. The current House Admiral is Yngvarr Viduggla Vice-Admiral (Viseadmiral): The fleet’s Vice-Admiral is a special position in the fleet as it is he who manages the retinue and advises the House Admiral in matters of administration, as well as strategic advice in times of war. The current Vice-Admiral is Sargon Gishkim Captain (Kaptein): A captain commands a single ship of the fleet and is responsible for its maintenance and crew. Granted a commission in the Cabinet, a Kaptein gets promoted to Kommandørkaptein. - Kaptein Signe Fjällslätter Sailor (Menig): The Menig are the lowest rank in the fleet, serving under a Kaptein and aboard one of the many ships of the Uglhengiven. It is common to find a Menig acting as a ship’s chaplain, medic or even a trained Knight. Fleet Flagship: Uglhengiven: A Nordskaggian Galjon, the Uglhengiven, named after the demigod from whom the Viduggla claim descendancy, is the flagship of the fleet and is personally commanded by House Admiral Yngvarr Viduggla. It also serves as his Wing Fleet flagship vessel in the Marshallry Cabinet. Fleet Warships: Bulmittu: A Calemberg Third Line, this vessel serves the purpose of auxiliating the fleet’s flagship. This warship is commanded by Viseadmiral Sargon Gishkim, and it serves as his Wing Fleet flagship vessel in the Marshallry Cabinet.
