The Rebel Ordeal- Game Thread

She'd turn to the both, "Thank you, I retract my vote on Party_Penguin27." "If I must explain myself, I first of all didn't know what Volk was, I simply saw the note and took a vote for the safety of myself, which /you/ all followed. Second, how do we know the vampire was telling the truth? He could of been lying about Volk all together, I mean it's a vampire. I don't know why you'd turn against me, seeing as I have been yet to do anything, where as Teddie, I have yet to see you do much yourself, why don't you prove yourself innocent actually, and go out into the sun. How do we know /you're/ not a vampire?" she'd say, the woman already being in the sunlight, proving herself innocent for that at the least. "Why don't both of you do it actually, for safe measures?"

Let out an agitated huff before going to step out into the sun. No burning, not a vampire. "See? I ain't a vampire." Ted crossed his arms about his chest, a scowl spreading across his face.

No one was lynched this day.

Two bodies were found in the square the following morning. The first lay quietly, as though asleep, puncture wounds indicating a vampire attack; the body belonged to @Party_Penguin27 . She carried no will, and there was no murder note. Upon closer inspection, it is clear that she had been a Demon in disguise.

The second body, belonging to @Brycea1111 , would be found hanging from a tree, dressed in a saint nick costume and shoved in a giant stocking, a murder haiku pinned to the front.

This person is dead
They are hanging from the trees
Murder is Christmas.

It is very clear, by the uniform he proudly wore (just visible beneath the awful costume), that he had been the Guard Captain. The only words scribbled in the poor man's will read as follows:

I jailed Pandaskies on the third night. She seemed to check out. She couldn't be one of them, she was too scared.

Rebels may not use their PM during this time.

A small grove of flowers has sprung up under the body, surrounding it, as if it was lying in a field of flowers.
A single piece of parchment paper fluttered down from the sky.

On it it read:

I am sorry. I am free now. I can finally be at peace. Thank You.

A soft breeze blew through the square, warm, and smelling faintly of vanilla. Than all was still.

Another body is found lying in the square this day, quite lifeless and quite drained of blood, as cold as the chill morning breeze. The body belonged to @Sven Tu . Oddly, there is some lapis scattered delicately about the corpse, in almost a mocking fashion, with one piece pinning down a note beside him. The lapis clearly indicated that Sven could only have been a Hex Mage, who had finally met a fate equal to the terrors he'd caused so many in the night. The note reads as follows:

Dear citizens, its your "friendly" neighbourhood vampire again, a few nights ago I attempted to attack Starkiller at night, but he managed to resist my attack, my guess is, he is your Rebel leader that you all have been hunting this entire time. You're welcome.

Star emerged from his house, shocked to see the scene in front oh him. The evil had drained the hex mage, and taunted it in death. Half of him was pleased, a part of the rebellion was off the streets, but the note quickly soured any happyness he had.

If you are to truly take the word of a vampire in the matter of who and who not I am, than let that be your matter. I am innocent, simple as that. I would hope that we all don't spur into riot at the false words of a cursed one.

((bah! viva la rebelution ! -insert vampire/hex related pun here))

((and ohey, 666th post))

Billy would react to Stars words, sceptical of what he was saying. "Whether you are telling the truth or not, the only way we are going to be able to defeat the Rebels, is if we make a lynching today. I am sorry, but I cannot find any other person here right now that the finger points to, I do not wish to take the words of a vampire over another, but right now, I have to make a choice as all others have been silent until now I vote to Lynch Starkiller_117"

If your to so quickly take the words of a vampire to heart, and simply point the finger at me because I was the first to arrive, what's to say you aren't this vampire, or the rebel leader, or some other evil?

I vote to lych BillyA835

Let out a grumble under his breath, Ted turned towards the others with a furrowed brow, "Don't be so quick to accuse each other. There are other people we haven't taken into consideration and I say that daman132 could be responsible for something."

Once again the town showcased its complete inability to come to a decision in lynching, as evening descended once more.

The body of @PandaSkies is found in the town square the following morning, mercilessly drained of blood and left alone for the nothing but the light of the rising sun to warm it; this was obviously a Vampire attack. There is no will, and there is no murder note upon her form. Closer inspection would reveal the insignia of the Rebellion stitched into the inner lining of her clothing, revealing that she was a Rebel.

At this stage in the game, a lynching today can strongly throw the game in favor of any of the 3 possible outcomes.

@BillyA835
@daman132

He wandered into the street where he guessed the others might be, a solemn look on the man's face. He'd sort of stand there for a while, inspecting the body. "I was right." Ted would say, he was the only one who tried to follow through with the lynching of Panda but no one would listen. Ted spun around to face the others, already standing under the rays of the sun, "Alright! All of you, stand out in the sun."

Nick would walk out into the sun, a brow perked when he did "Pleased?"

Gave a faint nod of his head, turning to Billy and Star, gesturing for them to step out, "Well?"

Star would step out into the light, gesturing up and down on his non spontaneously combusting body.

I believe this leaves only one of us friends.

Ted's gaze shot towards Billy, the words spilling out of his mouth quickly.

"I vote to lynch BillyA835."

(I don't have access to bold on my iPad)

Star would follow the lead, convinced without a doubt that somehow Billy had been living among them as a vampire

I vote to lych BillyA835

"But wait, what if star is a treasonist, we shouldn't be so hasty Ted..."

(Doing my little last words thing late.)

Upon the body of PandaSkies, small words are tattooed on her wrist, reading.
"I like cats."

"There's a few of them out there, we can lynch them one by one. I know I'm right. Trust me." Ted was convinced that Billy was a vampire as the others seemed to step out into the sun with ease. He was also convinced about who he would be lynching next.

Despite the encouragements from at least two individuals, the lack of a third vote resulted in no one being lynched this day. A feeling of misfortune is evident in the air, as everyone retires for the evening.

Another victim fell to the Vampire this past evening, @Teddie000 the Ranger found lifeless in the square the following morning. Her will read as follows:

"I told you so."

What exact proof would you have that I an the rebellion leader? All evidence shows that you're the vampire, yet none to prove that I'm some leader of a rebellion. The way it appears currently, your trying to lynch me and kill the other, leaving the town for yourself

Billy must be lynched.

If Daman is the only citizen left, and I am the vampire, then it only leaves you as the rebel leader. Do not be so ignorant. Its Daman's choice as to whom he believes. If I die, there is no doubt you would kill him and your rebellion would be successful. On the other hand, we could lynch you, and he at least has a chance that I wont. Its more of a chance than with you.

Starkiller must be lynched.

((god this is intense))

What is it to say your the vampire though? Perhaps your the rebellion leader, disguising all your kills as vampire attacks and blaming it on me?

You will and must be lynched

You walked out into the sun didnt you? Oh yeah, you did. There is no hiding what you are. You /are/ the rebel leader.

You will be the one hung today.

((I hope it's okay if I do this))

A crumpled note lay in the ranger's pockets, it reads as follows,

"No one believed me. No one. I told you, I told you so many times. I tried to lynch them but who would be there to back me up? I am convinced that Billy is the vampire, that is why I tried to lynch him first.

But no one ever believes the paranoid elf, do they?".

Eh, apparently I'm going to die either way here... I should've listened to Ted...

I vote to lynch Starkiller_17 Ohmy I'm screwed, Billy remember my advertisments please

Star would begin flailing violently, throwing individual regale in every direction while singing old Christmas songs, completely broken that the world would rather have a vampire live than him.

Vote to lynch billy if you must, but do remember you supported the life of an infected, murderous vampire.

Together, as the sun's rays began to sink below the horizon, the remaining duo set upon @starkiller_117 the Rebel Leader. They bound the tormented man to a stake before casting fire beneath his feet, the flames rising to devour the life of the one responsible for so many deaths.
If only the poor drunken man had realized that he could've lived had he made a different decision...

The coming of night would lead to the final death, the Vampire @BillyA835 setting forth to strike down @daman132 , despite the high stench of alcohol rising from the man. The next morning would find a dead man, and a lone Vampire on his way the next unsuspecting town.

Congrats to @BillyA835 for winning The Rebel Ordeal! You will have a prize in game awaiting you :)

But nommy if daman is tavern drunk. Couldn't he just keep disrupting Billy's attack over & over again. Resulting in there would be no winner.

No, that would have resulted if they had lynched Billy.
If Daman had tried to distract him, Billy would've turned on and attacked him even if he hadn't been planning on attacking him. Vampires are immune to roleblocking and will attack anyone that tries to roleblock them.

The Rebel Leader, on the other hand, isn't immune to roleblocking.
