The Lightfingered Lads
History
The founding of the band of lower criminals started off in 217 A.C. in an Ailor town located in New Ceardia. The founder, only known to the more respected and dedicated members was an Ailor who was running low on currency and welfare. With no possible turns in life to take, he would soon start off as a petty theft. From tiny, successful pickpocketing schemes, it would soon rise to a more expertise group of exploiters and thieves. The founder had managed to round up some clean-record friends of his that were interested in such criminal acts that he took part in. Finding their headquarters in an abandoned lodge some kilometers in the forest surrounding their town, they would simply leave it at that without a name to call the circle of burglars.
As the years passed, the organization soon skyrocketed as more recruits and burglars came in to join in the group's conquest of wealth and knowledge. The lodge was getting add-ons, having gradually been built to have an underground region to scheme out plans. As the main heads of the organization soon became glued to the "wealth and prosperity" they gained, the group would slowly dwindle down from careless control. The activity of the union of criminals was somewhat known, as what form of guards of the town the now old grandmaster started off from would soon mob towards the manor. As torches set a display of an inferno on the building, the pickpockets, thieves, and burglars soon escaped through windows, to where only a select few survived while the rest were engulfed in the blaze that took down the group.
A handful of members fled to the growing city of Regalia through sea travel. Without much suspicion, the group managed to use what they had to purchase a house in the Old Gods district, situating their trade there. As crime rose in Regalia, so did their members as what now became the Lightfingered Lads grew once more. Unfortunately for them, they were apprehended by some rogue attackers as ironically, the members were mostly slaughtered and once more turned to the life of lowlives their founder once lived. Recently though, in 304 A.C. the group soon came back to activity with another Ailor leader resurrecting their union of pickpockets and robbers.

*Some pieces of parchment are put up in various locations in the sewers advertise the band of thieves, pickpockets, and exploiters*
"You! Yes, you! You want a life full of riches and relaxation? Well, put a letter in the hole near the swing-set in the Park District if you wish to join; don't worry, we'll find it someway or another! Just know, you may risk a lot joining us. Mainly fiends that are related to pickpocketing, burglary, and people alike should pen a letter."
Summary
The Lightfingered Lads is an organization of exploiters, thieves, pickpockets, and criminals that do activity similar to those three. The group aims to gain coin and knowledge through any crude methods. Player Quests can be organized if you are a member of the group, and other fun galore. This is sort of my first time trying to start a more full-fledged organization so bare with me if the group has some flaws and such. Reason you want to apply: I have gotten interested into the criminal side of Regalian roleplay. Reading through your thread, it really seems interesting! I hope being able to join can open up my roleplay opportunities. My role-play hasn't been the greatest lately as well, so I hope if I am accepted the members of the group can help me. I also haven't been in a criminal organization or had a criminal character like this yet, so I want to try out something new.
One roleplay weakness: A roleplay weakness I have is my shyness. I usually stray away from starting conversations or interacting with others first. I'm afraid that I may mess up with something, so I let others introduce themselves to my character. Hopefully joining a group can let me open up to be okay with messing up here and there.
Do you have a Skype?: Yes, I do have a Skype.
Character Name: John Smith.
Yes or no to the leaders of the group knowing the basics of your character: Yes, but he'd lie about his name and say it is instead "Robert Miller".
