    ⫷The Bruderschaft⫸
    ⤛'Thirdly, living in brotherhood'⤜

    Introductory Information
OOC Note: Some of these things are just for reference, I.E. the rules of the Bruderschaft. Do not feel the need to read everything to understand the organization!

The formation of a collective for comradery is a key aspect of the Wulfmacht doctrine. It is in pursuit of this goal House Wulfmacht, namely Duke Wilhelm Wulfmacht and Lord Alfred Wulfmacht, have seen forth to the creation of 'The Bruderschaft'. The Bruderschaft is designed to bring members of the peerage and esteemed commoners into a single circle to engage in leisure, sparring, deep thought, political discourse, and event hosting surrounded by honored men. Blue-blooded Ailor men are invited to take up a pen and paper and rapidly write a letter to the Bruderschaft so they might become a cornerstone to this gentlemen's club.

    ⫷Brotherhood⫸
As an exclusively male club, the Bruderschaft hopes to engage and encourage traditionally manly activities and leisure amongst its members. These include but are certainly not limited to:
    • Official Sparring tournaments between Bruders,
      Fencing
      Wrestling
      Boxing
      Sword-Fighting
    • Drinking Competitions
    • Drinking in general
    • Card Games
    • Arm wrestling
    • Axe Throwing
    • Horseback riding
    • Jousting
    • Sword-shaving is an old Wulfmacht tradition of using a longsword to shave or trim one's facial hair. Usually for experienced swordsmen to try and see who might be able to shave the faster or with the highest quality of beard.
    • Hunting
    • War Games
    • “Gluckshaus” is Alt-Regalian for ‘House of Fortune’ and is a
simple gambling game. Money is lost and won on the roll of two dice.
Coins are placed on a grid of ten numbered squares, See below
      [IMG]
Players can join or leave at any point in the game at the end of each round.
      Firstly,
Any joining players must place 7 regals on square seven 'The Wedding' to act as the jackpot.
A Player then roll two 6-numbered die. Whatever their two numbers add up to lands on the corresponding square. I.E. 2+3= Square Five
If the square is empty, they will place a corresponding number of regals on the square (Land 3, put 3 regals) and the next player will roll. If the square is NOT empty, they can collect any money on it.
If a player rolls a seven 'The Wedding' they cannot take, only give a single regal.
If a player rolls a two 'The Lucky Pig' they can chose any square to take money from, excluding 7 and 12.
If a player rolls a 12 'The King' they can take all the money currently on the board, including from 7 'The Wedding'.
If a player rolls 4 which is excluded on the board, the money is put into a bag for the host, in this case the Bruderschaft and is lost to those playing.
This game can be played with any increment of coin for more fun, I.E. By 10 regals, land on 5 place 50 regals, joining players putting 70 on 'The Wedding'. Any questions about how to play please message Kdeeks#5373 !
More Custom Bruderschaft games to come!

Beyond these more engaging activities, the Bruderschaft will host dinners and gatherings of its members at large to strengthen the bond between members.

    Public Events

The Bruderschaft plans to host many community outreach events, including contents and tournaments for the public. Some of these events include fund-raisers for Alms or supporting the Imperial military. Members of the Bruderschaft are also encouraged to work with the club to host their own events and utilize its assets for their personal needs.

    ⫷Politics⫸
The Bruderschaft prides itself on the institutions of philosophical and political thought. Thus the establishment of the 'Debate League' wing of the Bruderschaft comes into fruition. The Debate league is utilized to give an open and organized forum for ideas, policies, and grievances within the Bruderschaft.
To maintain Order within the Debate League the Bruderschaft establishes the following rules for proper debate:
    1. The debate is to be of ideas thus remaining formal, and polite to the character and standing of the individual one is debating against. There are to be no personal attacks on parties involved.
    2. A formal invitation to debate must be made verbally between two members, or a group of members
in equal number on each side of the debate. If multiple members are involved than a panel must be made with one acting as speaker while time is given to both groups to converse between statements and rebuttals for formation of response.
    3. Firstly, each party will make a statement of opinion outlining their entire stance one after the other (Three full messages maximum)
    4. Secondly, Each party in order of initial statements will rebuttal the statements made by the opposing party. They will only be allowed to comment on the initial statement during this period. (Three full messages maximum)
    5. Thirdly, Each party in order of initial statements will rebuttal the opposing party's rebuttal. They will only be allowed to comment on the first rebuttal and not the initial statement during this period. (Three full messages maximum)
    6. Fourthly, Each party in order of initial statements will rebuttal the opposing party's secondary rebuttal. They will only be allowed to comment on the secondary rebuttal and not the initial statement nor first rebuttal. (Three full messages maximum)
    7. At the conclusion of the debate and final rebuttals made, each party in order of initial statements will state one of these three lines and nothing else in regard to the topic. These statements include;
"I understand your opinion, and have come to accept it as my own" - To affirm your change of mind
"I understand your opinion, and respect it, but will retain my own" - To affirm your neutrality
"I understand your opinion, and resent it while retaining my own" - To affirm your opposition
"I understand your opinion, and have adopted some but not all aspects" - To affirm some change in mind
Formal debates can be hosted in public forum, between Bruderschaft members and the public. The Bruderschaft is to help organize these debates for the public viewing. Debates can be outlined with topics and maintain an open floor for any to approach an present opposing ideas. Additionally, Though the Bruderschaft holds no official political stances, it holds the varying opinions of its members. Thus, if the entire Bruderschaft is unanimously in support of a position then the Bruderschaft will act to lobby and proliferate that position in wider society.
Discussions can, of course, naturally ensue without the parameters of these rules of the league. However, any argument of ideas must be immediately taken to the formality of the league. Arguing is seen as an official 'verbal invitation to debate'. Any breach of these rules during debate can result in a 'muted opinion' which will result in a member of the Bruderschaft being unable to challenge anyone to debate for one week time. A breach of muted opinion will result in their formal removal from the club.

    ⫷Organization⫸
    The Vorsitzende
    Duke Wilhelm Friedrich Wulfmacht

The only official office of the Bruderschaft is that of the Voritzende or 'Chairman'. The position is only to act as a first amongst equals in the Bruderschaft and is tasked with handling the organization of the Bruderschaft and the certifying of new members. This position also acts to preserve the rules of the Bruderschaft and is given power to act to dismay or remove any rule-breakers within the club. The Bruderschaft code includes these rules and regulations which are as follows:

    The Bruderschaft Code

    6. Titleage and official conduces are not required within Bruderschaft areas, while they are encouraged and expected to be respected it is not required and in accordance with rule five could not be charged upon outside of the Bruderschaft.
    OOC Note:
The club is meant to be for a sense of high class society and utilized for informal & formal noble events to allow more proper bonding among peerage members. It is requested that a formal and classy atmosphere is maintained.

    On the matter of Commoners

House Wulfmacht extends an invite to all ailor/half-ailor men of the peerage. Commoners are allowed to join the Bruderschaft via a process called "sponsorship" where two noble bruderschaft members can sponsor a commoner to join the Bruderschaft. Commoners deemed esteemed enough to join the Bruderschaft will be awarded the same luxuries as all other members of the club. If the commoner is to act inappropriately or irrationally in violation of club rules, it is the right of the noble 'sponsors' to remove their sponsorship of the commoner, and thus have them removed from the club. Otherwise, the negative behavior of the commoner will be taken as negative behavior on the part of their sponsors.
