The Highland Band
"Warriors without equal, leaders without fear, discipline unto death."

The House Guards of House Mac Conall, The Highland band is made up of some of the finest warriors in the holy city of regalia. While its captain is always a highlander, it is mostly composed of foreigners taking from the proud highlander tradition of welcoming all. The band is trained rigorously and overseen by the head of the house who has full authority. They swear sacred oaths by whatever gods they keep but more importantly they swear oaths to each other.

Dear Commander Eddaire Mac Conall and Captain Greer Mac Conall,
My name is a Ealireleia Aleesia Carbellenor, a Solstithar Kathar woman from the Anchal Sollen free ports in northern Solleria. I am looking for work, and thought a house guard of a lovely Highlander noble family would be a world of opportunities materially and non-materially. I follow the Faith of Estel and grown up completely disconnected from the rest of my kinds culture like the rest of the Solstithar peoples who call the Empire there home. My combat form is entirely spears and shields, and I am experienced in conflicts in the far west against the Kathar from the Dread Empire, and have led men in battle on the ground while aiding Suvial Altalar defend there homeland with Sollerian regiments.
Enough about my skills and history, lets get to what interests me about the Highland Band shall we? Highland Ceardians have always been an interesting people I wanted to know about, and what's a better way to find out more about the Highland Ceardian culture than to work for a noble Highland Ceardian family? I'm sure I'll meet a lot of lovely people working for you, while the coin would be nice so I don't starve and put a roof over my head, the friends I'd make along the way and good times shared is what feels like true payment. Coin comes and go, but memories stay locked in your head.
