'Artistic depiction of the bear of Rikeland in battle with a leader of a local rebellion.'
An age-old Order revived during Virathus Krupp's rise and fall in public office, The Companions stand as a last line of defence in Krupp lands and serve as the personal guard to the family. Their oaths last a lifetime, lest a soldier is dishonourably discharged. Being made up of fine warriors and even retaining medics within their ranks, The Companions contain not only commoners amongst their ranks, but the Males of the House Krupp. An impressive amount of roles in The Companions are available, ranging from Squires & Medics to Soldiers & Siege Specialists. Many of these roles are given to those who prove themselves to be loyal, disloyalty will only result in punishment and with a further offence, a dishonourable discharge.

Municipal Legate:
- The Position held by the Patriarch of House Krupp, his orders are final above all else. To question his orders is to challenge the honour of the Patriarch, which often will lead to punishment and Dishonourable Dismissal.
- The Commanding Generals are held accountable for the movement and tactical positioning of troops in defence of the Homeland, they are given freedom to move troops as required, though are required to run orders for attack by the Lord Commander.
- Field Commanders are given full control of troops on the battlefield, often fighting on the frontlines along the common soldiery or leading cavalry into the fray. They follow the tactical plans made by the Commanding General, however, they are often forced to improvise when enemies react to tactics in an unanticipated way.
- Serving under the Field Commanders & Guard Commanders, the Officers of The Companions are given control over small groupings of soldiers, that they might defend their designated familial member outwith battle or hold crucial choke points in battle, with the go-ahead from the Field Commanders.
- A role held by those considered the best of the best, capable of following orders to the letter. They're given personalized weapons for their service to The Companions along with a ceremonial dagger that separates them from the common soldiery.
- On and off the field, Medical Staff is used for running checkups on family members and for the setting up of medical tents and encampments on the battlefield, a crucial role in the Companions, to be sure.
- The Soldiery act as House Guards for the Krupps, all wearing the same uniforms and reporting to the Elite Guards for assignments, if not ordered by Officers or Commanders. Their main purpose is to defend the members of House Krupp and if necessary, give their lives for their employers.
Service to House Krupp is not as simple as it may seem, perilous even. As such, Contracts of Employment are written up with very serious terms and punishments for misconduct or failure to adhere to the Terms of Employment. Those who serve in the Companions are seen not just as guardsmen, but full-fledged political allies. As such though, they are expected to be oath sworn to Maximus Krupp and his family.
- Each member of House Krupp has command over the Soldiery and Medics when they are on duty, disobeying the orders of a Krupp will have the offending employee met with a warning, upon the third warning, employees are met with physical punishment, dictated by the Praefects or Commander.
- To disobey an order from a Praefect or Commander will result in physical punishment, to be dictated by said Officer or Commander.
- Elite Soldiers are to report to the Praefects or Commanders for daily orders, though given the inability to find an Officer or Commander, should search for a member of House Krupp.
- Employment is only able to be terminated by Praefects or higher authorities, a discussion may lead to an agreement that the Employee will be let go from the Companions or discharged without the ability to return.
- The oath of service to Maximus Krupp:
- Representing House Krupp as a Guard, you are expected to promote good feeling amongst other roleplayers. Displays of toxicity will lead to warnings and later expulsion from the Companions.
- We do ask for reasonable amounts of activity though we cannot demand it of you and are very flexible.
- We do ask that you have an Accepted Character app, or that you have a character app posted in need of review.
We also offer a quick and simple recruitment system on this thread, simply fill out the application as such!
