Wanting your ideas to be heard and to better improve your community? Are you interested in collaborating with fellow peers of your own cultural background on various topics? This is a public lobby which brings you exactly that.

Founded in the Spring of 308 AC by Assembly Chairman and Genevaud Representative Theopold Kreiburg, the Representative Assembly of Cultures is a societal lobby which focuses on discussing and addressing multiple topics pertaining to cultures, races, and social entities within the Regalian Capital, primarily motivated to improve the everyday well-being of life in the Crown City.

The Assemblies will be held whenever the necessary preparations are in order to discuss said topics and even vote on matters which the Representative Board can rightfully decide upon, such as collective propositions or concerns.

Outsider Civil Status Races and None Civil Status Races are not to be Represented.

Role of the Chairman

The Chairman oversees the meetings and ensures order is kept throughout all procedures. The Chairman reserves the ability to evict a Representative from the Representative Board for any means. While the Chairman does not hold authority over any community, it is his job to ensure all Community Representatives adhere to the necessary protocol in accordance with their position. The Chairman represents the Representative Assembly of Cultures as a whole and it is his responsibility to communicate propositions agreed upon by the Representative Board to the target individual or group.

Role of the Representatives

Cultural Representatives spearhead the thoughts and ideas as well as concerns and obligations of their respective cultural or racial communities. They act as figureheads and leaders of their people, representing them to the best of their ability in not their own interests - but the collective interest of the community. The Representative has the ability to organize and interact with their community as they see fit, though they are required to appoint a Vice-Representative to assist them.

Representatives also have the ability to propose topics of discussion at assembly meetings to the Chairman which are almost always accepted. They then will be made aware of the proposed topics to be addressed at the assembly meetings and are encouraged to engage with their cultural group to gather their opinions in order to better thoroughly represent them at the time of the assembly.

How a Representative is chosen is left entirely up to their community's making. The Chairman will appoint the Representative to the position so long as they have undeniable support from their Community and such is proven. However, there may only always be one for simplicity and function's sake.

Role of the Vice-Representatives

The Vice-Representative is the Representative's right hand. Their role is mostly advisory when it comes to assembly meetings, however the Representative may choose to obligate them with as many responsibilities as they desire within their individual community.

In regards to the honourable Regalian Nobility

Members of the nobility are encouraged to take part in all assembly meetings even if only to observe. However, the nobility are very welcome to look to be representatives themselves. The esteemed nobility are experienced in group management and defending the values of their respective peoples, therefore being excellent cultural representatives.

The Procedure of Public Assemblies

Public Assemblies will be held at the Colosseum whenever called for by the Chairman.

To assure an orderly and smooth run, only Representatives and the Chairman will be permitted to address one another in discussion, civil debate, or any kind of voting. Vice-Representatives may sit accompanying their Representative, but may only advise their Representative. Vice-Representatives and members from each community may be permitted to speak only by direct consent of the Chairman, whom their associated Representative must first make the request with an excusable reason to back it.

Assembly meetings should go no longer than an hour and a half. The Chairman will lead all topics from their start to finish to keep everything neatly flowing.

All members of the Assembly must adhere to and not violate any Regalian Law.

Representatives are expected to conduct themselves in a civil, legal, and appropriate manner. While debate and disagreeing with one's views is welcome, a Representative should never appear hostile or threatening to another individual. These meetings should be kept utmost civil and with respect to proper problem-solving.

The Regalian City Guard will be contacted before the start of every assembly to guarantee the safety of the gathered Regalian populace. All assembly goers should honour their presence.
