So, my guess is now that this has started, Elves will probably never be let into Nobility, even through trade?
Hmmm do the Kades generally gravitate more towards strength and stature than intellectual reasoning?
I think the Orcs already had a pretty decent social standing in Regalia. The Kade household has always been a family that very strongly supported Orc rights for ulterior motives, and with the denunciation of the strongly xenophobic families, the suicides of the medavinci's, and Alexander on the throne, things look better for Orcs than any other non Human race in Regalia.
No one likes Vampires and Undead, and the Guards will continue to execute them as normal. How will this situation affect all the other races including vampires and the undead?
Or are they going to disregarded?
"Peace out" Yes how very very cannon. How will this situation affect all the other races including vampires and the undead?

A war between Regalia and the elves? -sigh- Peace out! I'm going to just go hide in a cave til this is over.
I think the war is a intresting idea. I can't wait to see what happens and will work on an Rp character soon!I warped the time around the effective bombardment a bit, technically this would have taken a week, but I crunched it into a day since I've been getting a lot of positive feedback about people being excited of putting their characters in battle. As for your injury, you are free to timejump. You may offend those who injured you, but that's up to you.
100% roleplay. Only roleplay characters, and the results will be posted as a roleplay event, written, and probably recorded on the Wiki.
Oh. I was wondering about what happened to that.Hours following the announcements, dignitaries (or rather tribe shamans) of the Blood Orc Clans arrived in the harbor on their way to to the Orc Embassy, a hastily converted Orc camp in the previously burnt out husk of the Maiar embassy.
Can? But they are Regalia's military. The whole point of having nobles is for potential war. Why are you giving them a choice? It means you can take your troops from your baronies and go to war!

Because the privileged nobility have the choice of participating physically or not. As for levies and all that sort of fun stuff, a percentage of each lordship's/duchy's/county's is already raised for the war effort, as a Regalian feudal contract would detail. Whether these nobles want to offer more of their levy is their choice as well.Oh. I was wondering about what happened to that.

An end goal, eh? Hmmm... Please don't be a war against the dwarves. Please, please, /please/! I don't want my kingdom to fall.Obviously not, they are severely screwed. The Elven Human alliance was able to bring the Orc holds to a stand still, now the Humans turned on the Elves and allied the Orcs. This is a world story progression thing, that I implemented to give the military oriented families in Regalia something to make a name for themselves. We hate self insertion, which is why we want to use actual events to allow people to measure up etc.

On the contrary, Regalia really needs some Elven governors to rule those pesky Elves when they have been submitted. So, my guess is now that this has started, Elves will probably never be let into Nobility, even through trade?
will this seige effect the Lothar or the Unqualë?
this storyline always facinated me so I'd like to respond properly to the happenings. @MonMarty
The benefit is that you can have more conflict for those combat-oriented families, and you can bring into RP the acts of war and actual PvP that the server claims to support. If Regalia always wins no one will ever oppose it in-game and it will be impossible for actual PvP battles to occur within roleplay or lore. By allowing Regalia to lose to SOMEONE (ok, maybe not the elves, but what about the Qadir?) it would make it possible for actual battles to occur in PvP that represent Roleplay Wars/Battles/Sieges. While I no longer think that the elves can win (1/5th isn't very good for them) the Qadir would be able to do so I think, which could lead to more instability on the edges of the empire and more racial inequality as the people inside the empire start to fear (and thus hate) other races that attempt to oppose Regalia.
That's all I was getting at. Power and Equality are two very different things, especially for a place where the 'strong' are in the minority.
Yay, historical reenactments! We recently implemented a provision that would allow Regalian families to fight each other. I think we might try battle re-enactments in the future on special designed maps with game rules, but under the current limitations imposed by the factions plugin and more, we simply cannot have these PVP battles.
Avallone never applied for lore recognition, so we have no barons sized regiments to commit to your cause.
So, it's not that they don't have to go to war. It's that they don't have to go to war yet.Due to Regalia's feudal structure, nobility still has the ability to reserve their own troops at home. I think some nobility are intentionally holding back their troops.
Half the Unquale kingdom in the south has surrendered, the Lothar kingdom in the middle joined the North in their resistance. The terms Unquale and Lothar for these regions is debatable though, while the dominant culture is just exactly that, all three kingdoms are ruled by Talar.
