Organizing The Bloodcast Knights

Similar to Marty's post over the Viridians, I and some others figured a similar one be set in place for the Bloodcast characters living within Regalia to create a more unified roleplay experience for us that I've noted to be lacking amongst Bloodcasts, surprisingly to the surplus of people who've played them over the years.

This post is majorly to set in place a registry of the characters within the Bloodcast, whether they have been dishonorably exiled from the school for engaging in activities unsupported by the group or not, feel free to fill out the template below regardlessly.

For current players of Bloodcasts, or those interested in potentially getting one, we've set up a Discord server, and the wiki page is here.

As a group, we decided on a loose hierarchy, nothing as set in stone as that of those within charters like the Violet Order, but just for the sake of overall management and roleplay purposes.

Knight Marshal - Appointed head of the Bloodcast military unit serving the Regalian Empire. Charged with keeping the group united and choosing their approach on the battlefield.

Knight-Captain - Marshal's right hand. Often responsible for leading the Bloodcasts on the field and keeping their morale in check.

Knight Enforcer - Otherwise known as Sergeants in comparison to their Viridian counterparts, Enforcers are responsible for keeping Knights in line and sticking to the chosen strategy or mission when on the field. Specially designed for keeping in line the more inexperienced and fresh Bloodcasts that have recently graduated.

Knight of Bloodcast - The honorable and respectable Bloodcast Knights that have chosen to support their Order and the Empire in its time of need.

    • How was your character during training?: Liudolf was a strong and mighty warrior, some might of called him a monstrosity. He used his weight and height as an advantage during his training and battles. He was made into a tank, using a tower shield and flail, he would master the two, and still use them to this day.
    • Where did your character head on to after their time at Castle Duurwallis?: Liudolf would head to the Holy City, to join The Violet order, to protect the citizens within, and to make some extra coin.

How was your character during training?: For the first few years of his time in the School, Kasamir was diligent and learned quickly, but kept to himself, only slowly opening up to his fellows after a few years in which he steadily grew more comfortable around them. After the incident detailed in A Painful Lesson, in which he challenged one of the instructors to a duel in an attempt to impress another student, he withdrew into himself for the final years of his stay in Duurwallis, isolating himself and focusing entirely on his studies. He graduated as one of the best longswordsman of his year, though he showed little skill with any other combat form, if at all.
Where did your character head on to after their time at Castle Duurwallis?: He stayed in Regalia, looking for ways to help the common folk, even if only in the most trifling manner. He gave money and food to those in need, performed menial tasks for those who needed help, and generally occupied with odd jobs to help the commoners of the city. He would later join the Wardens of the Violet Order as he desired to help protect the citizens, after witnessing much violence and misfortune befall them.

    • Did they participate in any notable wars?: No
    • How was your character during training?: He was competitive in training as well very serious in everything. He hates chatting since he prefers to invest his time in fighting. Carrying pains over his shoulder, he never gave up wanting to make change that he believes with the Bloodcast.
    • Where did your character head on to after their time at Castle Duurwallis?: Asahi returned to Farahdeen to work with an elder friend. His friend was a merchant and he helped Asahi become a mercenary, or a Medjay in their desert country. After years in working as a temporary bodyguard and hired soldier. He returned to Regalia and work as a noble house guard. He later joined the Wardens before he quit unexpectedly to return to Farahdeen once more for his elder friend funeral. He then decided to visit Shi-Yao-Lan and learn more about Yang-Tzu isles. When he got there, he began to learn with martial art monks where they forbid magic. His initial intention for coming to Yang-Tzu Isles was to find his real parents. But he decided to learn Northern Shoalin, Hapkido, Kung-Fu, and Ba Gua Zhang with many Shoalins master who knew that Asahi has rage. So they taught him to use his rage for explosive fighting style, including one deadly techinque. After years, Asahi returned home on 307 A.C. Wanting to work with the bloodcast in regalia.

Character Name: Zelgius Pavise

Character Age: 30
Year of entry training: 294 A.C.
Year of graduation: 298 A.C.
Did they participate in any notable wars?: The most recent Elven War.
How was your character during training?: Diligent and capable, Zelgius made his way through the school quite comfortably, as he had been under tutelage by his uncle beforehand. Zelgius was best known for his obedience and skill, only really conversing with good friends he made at the school, he would often keep to himself. Training soothed the young adult, releasing any stress he may have had onto his potential schoolmates during their frequent sparring sessions. Soon, he would be regarded as one of the most talented swordsman during his graduation, earning the title, 'Stalwart Blade' due to his stalwart, dedicated personality, by his schoolmates.
Where did your character head on to after their time at Castle Duurwallis?: Zelgius returned to Brissaud after his schooling, but not for long. After catching up with family, he soon returned to the Holy City, becoming a mercenary in due time. Taking on any jobs that required his handiwork, his first jobs consisted of serving as a simple bodyguard, until becoming a full-fledged guard for a House or two. As of now, he works for the Violet Order, serving in the Wardens as their guard.

Did They Participate in Any Notable Wars?: Chrysant War, First Songaskian War, Elven War of 302 AC, and the most recent Elven War.
How was your character during training?: Being a bit of an outcast at first, Seraphina did not strive to impress her other trainees but rather did so to be more than the names she was called in the beginning. As she continued through her training, she soon gained a name for herself that would later turn into a badge of honor. At first, the nickname "the Bull" was simply a term used by the others to mock her as she was large and assumed to be quite stupid as she rarely talked, rather preferring to use action than words. However, after a stint with an actual bull, the nickname lost all its mockery and she soon wore it with pride. All in all, Seraphina worked tirelessly to prove that she was worthy of being considered a Bloodcast Knight.
Where did your character head on to after their time at Castle Duurwallis?: After graduation, she briefly returned home to Daendroc before heading off to war and eventually finding her way to Ithania. While there, she was employed as a House Guard which would then take her back to Regalia. After her employer's death, she took on the various odd jobs before settling into the Regalian Guard, being in the various editions of it. As well as taking on various higher positions in numerous Noble House Guards.

Character Name: Artair Mackay, AKA Bearblood

Did they participate in any notable wars?: The Second Songaskian War (neutral), The Second Elven War (neutral)
How was your character during training?: Artair took very well to the code and mentality of the Bloodcast. He was quite lawful-minded about things, training and learning in a more solidified schedule than some. He wasn't an exceptional swordsman, though he took to shield work very well, and wasn't afraid to display and develop his skills with nothing but his fists and gauntlets. Even so, he continued to carry and wield his assigned weapons whenever directed to do so.
Where did your character head on to after their time at Castle Duurwallis?: Artair stayed in Regalia for four years after training. Then, he took five fellow knights on a decade-long journey around the world, bringing the righteousness of the Bloodcast to various cultures. Two of the knights perished in battle, while the other three returned after only 5-6 years. He has since returned to Regalia in mid-307 AC, reconnecting with his fellow knights at the castle before heading to the City of Light proper.

How was your character during training?: Rin was serious during combat but not the best during training. She strived to be better in combat and worked herself harder each time. Rin wasn't keen on any other training if it wasn't combat but continued to follow her instructions without complaints. She had no weapon preference and was fine with using whatever she was assigned to use.
Where did your character head on to after time at Castle Duurwallis?: Rin left with her family to train in Farah'deen. There was a family dispute and she left. She joined a pirate crew and sailed across the world with them before being held hostage and taken to The Regalian Empire. After escaping she made her way back into Regalia; avoiding her family and her duties.
