My own Riddles (Note: None of these have anything to do with modern things e.g Cars):

One thin, one bold, one sick, one cold.
The earth we spawn, to prey upon man. Who are we?

hates the termite as much as the flea.
His tracks do not match,
and his limbs may detach,
but he's not a strange creature to see.
What is it?

The part of the bird
that is not in the sky,
which can swim in the ocean
and always stay dry.
What is it?

Dead and bound,
what once was free.
What made no sound,
now sings with glee.
What is it?

on this backward thing,
that grows in the winter
and dies in the spring.
What is it?

Your first one was kind of close, the answer was: She did it so when she killed her brother, the guy would be at her brother's funeral so he could get his number.

Is it water?

Because, it can flow slowly in a stream, like silk, but can also smash against rocks, and make loud noises...

Anyways:

I am swallowed, though not digested. I pass through the body, though never leave it. What am I?

(I'm not sure if that even counts as a riddle >_<)

I am old, yet new. Borrowed and blue. I disguise myself to blend in and have seen things most others do not. I am living, yet I am an object. I have been home to eleven people. What am I?

That is easy. You are the Earth. You provide us life and give life, but we are slowly killing you over time.
 
It resides in your head, it can create, it can destroy. It can make jobs it can give life, it can releive you of strife. There are endless way to use me and endless ways to try I am the source of all design that has been born in the mind without me the world would seem so dull and grey. What am I? xD
