So i'm kinda new to massive craft and i heard that you can use magic and i wanted to know if there was some way to be able to use magic, i heard of an academy and the azure order, i then read lots of wiki articles about how magic works, sub-classes, and all those cool things. So, the question is: do i need to do something to gain magic or is it just something you kinda have? I also read that you cant use magic in regalia and so that's why i'm so concerned about this. It seems like a really cool addition and i just wanted to know more about it.

As of right now there is no physical way to actually "use" magic. It is not something you can "do" on the server, like swinging a sword or using potions.

Since MassiveCraft is a roleplay server, the magic is role-played even if there is no in-game way to represent it beyond your words. What you find on the wiki is roleplay parameters, rules, and information on how magic works in the roleplay universe, and how your character can use it. And in our servers lore, it is illegal to perform magic in the capital city. So physically your character can still perform magic in the city, but it is outlawed and if any roleplay guards see you performing magic, you will be arrested iirc. But there's always the sewers, your own private house, dark alleyways on a late night where you can theoretically perform magic and a guard might not catch you.

Then is there any way to be able to get like a permit to cast in the city, i read that there is a way but it takes a while and may result in my character dying. If there is please inform me because I would love to use magic and it seems like a cool thing that you can use to enhance the role play experience. Also if there was some way to actually add magic into the game with particles and such that would be really awesome and im sure way more people would join the server and it could become a server that youtubers play on and i could see someone playing the server with his friend on youtube

Would it be considered "Smart" or "GodRP" if i threw paper on the ground (as a hex magic user) and used the magic to make it look like it was on fire, that could confuse people into thinking im a fire mage using a rune, and of course the magic couldnt hurt them at all. Also (if i was still a hex mage) could i make it "look" like i was holding a sword on the left, but had it really on the right?
