By Official Decree of Lord Chancellor Delmotte
18 - 03 - 308

His Eminence, Lord Chancellor and Duke of Basta-Irvelle, Louis Delmotte, does here address the appalling conduct of multiple guard charters, and the consequential injustice.

It would be an understatement to remark that his eminence the Lord Chancellor is deeply perturbed by the cowardice and flagrant illegal activities being undertaken by those who are supposed to be the protectors of the Holy City of Regalia. His eminence thought it wise to tolerate the occasional slipups during such trialing times, but it has become apparent that such inaction has only led to the festering of even more foul and repulsive behavior.

It is with such in mind that his Eminence does decree:

The indefinite suspension of Commander Shane Marth of the Crown Isle Wardens has transformed into the dissolution of the Crown Isle Wardens, and the annexation of any members who wish to remain as guards into the Storm Sentinels guard charter. Those who wish to remain in the guard-force but not as a member of the Storm Sentinels are implored to apply to another charter.

Commander Karp Kippings of the Crimson Inquisition is being relieved of his duties as Commander, is suspended from guard work, and is to submit himself to the Old Guard guard charter to be investigated for his relations to the Criminal Underbelly of Regalia, and his intimate relationship with deplorable Jacobins. Until such a time that the Lord Chancellor appoints a new Commander over the Crimson Inquisition, Commander William Howlester of the Old Guard or a delegate of his have been granted the authority to command the Inquisition, and have access to all unique rights granted to the Inquisition.

Signed by,
His Eminence
Lord Chancellor of the Regalian Empire
Grand Duke of Basta-Irvelle
Louis Delmotte

"Maybe you should be the new leader of the Crimson Inquisition." Rodrigo says in passing to Julius, nudging him with his metal arm. @Anarchizm

Julius set his goblet of wine down, looking to the row of men at his behest, then to Rodrigo, sending a firm nod in his direction. "What do you lot think? I don't really want that shit. Not now atleast." He asked the head of the row of men. Taking a long sip After his statement.
@The_Hochmeister @Yigit

Zain Davenport had begun to read the notice, raising an eyebrow upon it. "As I said before.. something isn't right.. whatever is going on.. it isn't right.. something is off about all of it. I could be wrong.. but perhaps some way I am right." He'd walk off back to Greygate to prepare his notes for many theories upon the recent magical events of the City.

After a fit of shrieking laughter, Caeda struggled to straighten up, managing to squeak out: "Get a load of this -- fish boy's been fired! About time! He's been boning that redhead for long enough, and I knew he wasn't bright enough to keep it under wraps." Letting loose another cackle, she nudged Yasuke, shoving a finger up towards the decree. @MrSpideyPool

Fen'nan scanned over this her swollen, red-rimmed eyes narrowing to thin, cold slits. "Deplorable Jacobins..." she echoed, shaking her head as her cheeks flushed pink in anger. "Those corrupt bastards. That son of a bitch," she hissed, peering outwards then with a grimace.

"The things I'd do....game on."

A familiar Isldar briefly overlooked a copy of a letter, resting across the table of her office. She handed the decree over for her partner in crime, offering only a small wink for return. "Seems we'd been correct this entire time. Funny how things play over, isn't it? We're best not to settle for less when some have the upper-hand." she'd start, leaning over to briefly look the letter upon her table, her discolored gaze briefly shifting ahead as she stood, a smile creeping onto her ecstatic features.

"Ah well. Seems Karp and his love-bird finally came face-to-face with Karma. People who create their own trouble deserve their own it, after all. Isn't that right, Tiray?"

@SnashuuPomaymay

"Relations to the criminal underworld? Intimate relationship with Jacobins? What is this?"

Ibrahim turned to Kemal, the Chancellor's decree still in his hand. "This isn't the Karp Kippings that sent a missive for Regalia's need for faith. Did they make the mistake in charging him, or did I in supporting his call to action?"

Abelhard frowned, squinting at the paper. Then, he'd shrug "Eh-- Whatever. The man made a blunder. He'll rebound."

A singular finger tapped lightly to the Paladin's chin as they studied the missive that had come in with the evening post. Glancing idly to the door and to the sounds of their family members deeper in the house, they murmured quietly to themselves, "Shame about the Wardens. Hope they spring back. Not surprised about Karp, but then again... There has been a drought when it comes to aristocratic and peerage gossip. Always a kernel of truth."

Eric sighed as he read over the decree in the safety of his home "I find it interesting they decide to half the protectors of regalia during a crisis such as the clickers. Let alone the fact that they start a corrupt investigations AFTER claiming my brother has done illegal acts and not before. Either they have no proof before the investigation which they clearly do not, or they are desperately trying to find evidence to back the reason behind their insane decision to fire Ser karp, who has only done good for this empire and the spirit." Eric shakes his head once more before tossing the paper into the fireplace in which he sat in front of. "There is no way I shall stay in the inquisition after this."

The Hochmeister would nod to Julius Peirgarten. "You would do well to take this mantle, and show this Holy City a true Inquisition! There is no better man to take this seat than the High Pontiffus himself, my Rex." he declares, a zeal behind his voice.

"These are the times that try our souls, yet the monsters remain and grow but be it Pious or Impure, of the Light or of the Void, be it Sanguine or Were-beast, or be it Marintter or Old Gods Mad man. The All Beings words are final, The Eight decreed an end to those lost to the darkness being allowed to fester, to the lost being allowed the wonder," So Spoke the Url on sight of the Decree.

(The Oath tattooed across his back glows silver)

"The Oath shines bright so the Path forward is clear those that heed not the calls to cast aside their old and corrupt ways shall soon meet Alu's embrace or the hand of the All Beings Words. The Dead of such monsters have joined with those long departed, as they watch Kin and Innocent suffer under void beast and Marintter sword. The souls cry out for a second life with which to fight anew, but while I can not restore them. I make there cause my own so I shall pray."

As the Pagan of the All Being I pray to my patrons, May Basthur's mead flow strong, may Mershell's wild words brighten my life, May Lanarra give me strength to protect my Kin, may Ellea show me companionship that may carry into glory, may Alu's door remain open for the lost, May Bep make my ways every unknown and ever unseen, may Julla give me wisdom to shout out such vile ignorance as doth spew from these False Knights tongues, and may Handrin show me how to rule wiser then those beasts which corrupt the heart of our city, our nobility, and our very empire. May it always stand true that all souls shall pass through the door of the Goddess equal in her eyes and in this life forever be equal in ours, Praise be the Gods and Highest Praise be the Emperor.

(He tacks a note under the decree)
You have taken the wheat with the chaff Lord Chancellor Honest and Corrupt souls are now cut from our charters. Yet the chaff of the Marintters and there false Goddess remain. All Gods and All Faiths should be able to see their type of Zealotry should've died long ago. It was these kind of Monsters that massacred Pagans, that killed innocents of all ages and sexes, and destroyed more faithful souls of Unionist and foreign faith then even the most infamous of the Accursed Void. I ask as philosopher, as devout priest, as warrior, and as servant of our Emperor above all. If you see all citizens save a certain few as being worthy of death and torture how can you ever dare call yourself either noble or ruler, how can one corrupt a faith so thoroughly that it would tear down women and children with unforgiving and corrupt hands. Such things and such acts are a perversion of the innate qualities of all people and all races, a casting aside of the wisdom of the God Handrin that "If one is devout to their Ruler then they must treat all there fellow citizens as comrades in the Ruler's Service. One mustn't discredit their comrades or seek to do them harm for all have use if given Respect and if given the right to demonstrate it."

"Well would ya look at that," said a tired Milo Shinseki. He took off his new hat, reading over the post a few more times, before crumpling it up and tossing it out the window. "/Otario Ode,/ fish."
