A collection of comments, clarifications, and reminders for our most Noble Peerage. Please read this carefully, and ensure that you and your family are caught up.
On new family members,
As per Basic Conduces, families are to submit listings of their family members to Conduces by letter or during a brief interview with the following information, in order to allow for even Conduces enforcement and a bit of leniency in adjustment:
- First name.
- Gender.
- Marital status.
- Relation to the head of household.
- Adoptive or birth status.
On palests,
Given the stable position of the Lifeguard Commissioner, his Grace von Schwarzkrau, Conduces sees fit to step back on terms of announcements and instead will regulate behavior, rather than hiring and firing. For all palest hiring and firing needs, please seek out the Duke at the Weissburgh Estate.
The hiring and firing process of First Attendants remains unchanged as of the current moment.
The hiring and firing process of First Attendants remains unchanged as of the current moment.
On business,
As per Service Code, all nobles must register businesses owned with Conduces to allow for adequate enforcement of the Blueblood Honneurs Code of Regalian Law, which is included in part below:
The list of currently registered and approved businesses are the following:
Anyone who does not register or persists after being warned of unacceptable behavior will be struck with the 18-inch whip, as the law demands.
The Nobility are expected to behave a certain way, and enforcing this code of behavior is up to the Master of Conduces of the Imperial Court. [ . . . ] Nobility may also not engage in employment that is otherwise for commoners, such as tending bars, tending livestock, or manning a stall.
Exceptions are made for businesses that handle high-value items exceeding 5,000 Regals in price, and establishments with high-society relevance, such as noble-only tea houses. Offenders may be struck with an 18-inch horse riding crop whip by the Master of Conduces until they cease.
In any and all cases, Honneurs may only be changed by the Emperor, and may only be enforced by the Master of Conduces of the Imperial Court. Abuse of power on the part of the Master of Conduces must be reported to the Emperor (OOC: Do this through Geopolitics Progression).
Due to false registrations, Conduces will be performing more in-depth business interviews and inspections before passing approval. In order to attain registration, pen a letter to meet with Conduces and the interview will proceed at the place of business. The list of currently registered and approved businesses are the following:
- Atelier du Ruban, ran by Lady Rowena and Lady Valerie Bancroft, as fashion is inherent to nobility.
- The Rosebush Forge, ran by Lady Humaira Reinard, due to high-price items and commissions given to the nobility.
- The Scorching Embers Forge, ran by Lady F'relene and Lord Seydou Kassambara, due to high-price items and commissions given to the nobility.
- The Dragon's Den, owned by House Kassambara. Only commoners serve at this business, not nobles, and therefore no laws or Conduces codes are infringed.
- The Vogel, owned by Duchess Haeddi van Hal. Only commoners serve at this business, not nobles, and therefore no laws or Conduces codes are infringed.
- Die Wulfsgarage, owned by Lady Valentina Wulfmacht. Only commoners serve at this business, not nobles, and therefore no laws or Conduces codes are infringed.
- The Lilac Lounge and Spa, owned by Grand Duchess Tuija Nordhjem. Only commoners serve at this business, not nobles, and therefore no laws or Conduces codes are infringed.
- The Blonde Rouzhelle, owned by Duke Florian Peirgarten. Only commoners serve at this business, not nobles, and therefore no laws or Conduces codes are infringed.
Anyone who does not register or persists after being warned of unacceptable behavior will be struck with the 18-inch whip, as the law demands.
