With the intent to lay out a groundwork its succesor can partake in furthering, the Imperial Conservationist Galenea vows to conclude her tenure with diligence to see species thrive, and enable the peerage to present continual interest in our ecosystem, so our future generations may come to enjoy its verdance as we did.
We are not the only beings living in His design, and therein lies the responsibility of the greater to care for the lesser.
II. THYLANS & OGRES.
Recent reports describe a downspiraling livelihood for the Thylans and Ogres in Ellador, who have been driven south of their natural habitat from Sanguine enroachment.
Primitive yet posessing traits that echo a society in its earliest epoch, the sentience surrounding the two species are recognized enough to receive the label of protected peoples. The ecosystemic competition in Ellador has malformed into a far more aggresive iteration for it to subside anytime soon, and so the Imperial Conservationist deems the peoples suitable for relocation with consent provided or verbalized, and other forms of direct assistance in absence of it.
In preparation, the high families of the Regalian Archipelago are invited to establish dialogue with Imperial Conservationist Galenea and make their case should they find their lands a suitable candidate. Caution and employment of translators is advised, as carelessly relocating a species from one ecosystem, to another, is exceedingly traumatic. The family should present a land that posesses similarities to the species' home habitat, and a thriving ecosystem to sustain continual symbiosis.
Contact is PROHIBITED. Independent actors can request to be vetted, and must adhere to First Contact guidelines upon approval.
III. FUVRATTAM & SORVAAR.
The fate of the recently discovered Fuvrattam and Sorvaar peoples mark the first tragedy that occurs when people from a modern, and an old world come in contact. Fuvrattam and Sorvaar are Protected.
The total sum of surviving persons is unclear. To owe the remaining peoples recovery, contact and the seeking of contact is PROHIBITED.
IV. PROTO-VELHEIM.
The proto-Velheim of Valadia (alternatively Sunnan) are Protected.
Contact is PROHIBITED. Independent actors can request to be vetted, and must adhere to First Contact guidelines upon approval.
V. FIRST CONTACT GUIDELINE.
When arranging an expedition to meet Protected Peoples, the following must be adhered:
Orifices on the facial area must be covered with a dense sheet of cloth.
Hands must be sterilized before and after stepping on land, and remain gloved at all times.
A competent translator must be employed in the expedition group.
Sanguine and Cahal cannot be employed in the expedition group.
Occult participants must be presented to the Imperial Conservationist for approval.
The expedition group must be screened by a doctor of high repute before embarking.
To permit higher chances of continual positive contact, the expedition group must refrain from tone deaf behavior and exercise an open mind around the people's way of life and religion.
