I understand that Massivecraft's goal is not to be a pay to play server, but it is. It took me nearly half an hour to get on the server. Something needs to be done. Either more server slots, or if that's not possible due to MCMMO, temporarily removing the full-login feature reserved to premiums. Its one thing if the server is full during specific times, but Massivecraft is constantly maxed out, and its ridiculous. I've been playing on this server for almost a year; why should my spot be taken by some 12 year old kid who stole his mom's credit card out of her purse? Something needs to be done; your reputation is dwindling.

The big part of mobs is the monsters, not the animals. Example. Ellador has all the time 2800-3400 evil mobs and 800 animals. Something like that.

Maybe premiums shouldn't take up a slot. Or we could have a separate player limit for premiums.[DOUBLEPOST=1360972929][/DOUBLEPOST]
You are right.

Lets pretend we do this first we set the new cap to be the average amount of non premiums online when the server is full.
Now the amount of premiums is arbitrary to the amount of non premiums however this is very flawed for a few reasons.

A. By doing this more premiums no longer means less non premiums online = More people = lower tps
B. literally doesn't change any thing except creating a higher player cap (due to let's say 75 non premiums being allowed on even if say 97 premiums are on.) = more people less tps
C. As I said fudging the numbers may make it fairer/easier to log on but it spreads the suffering via the tps drop.

The reason the cap is in place is to limit the amount of people, and raise tps. You aren't doing the server any favours by finding ways around the cap, you're only making lag.

That did not occur to me. You are definitely right.
