I'm not going to offer you a position right now. Based on the criteria of whether I've had lots of personal RP experience with you, I don't feel that you're quite the right choice for us yet. Keep at it though, RPing in Regalia, is my advice.

Thanks for applying. Be aware that House Black is currently not a noble house since Christopher had a bit of a breakdown the other day and is taking some time out in New Ceardia. You might find this to be a turn-off. However, if you're still interested in applying, I can forward this on to @The_Shadow_King3 to take a look over? There would be a series of RP testings involved before employment would be offered. (You certainly do have a unique character here with expertise that would be enticing to us.)
I understand your concern, as a matter a fact I actually appreciate it. However I think I'm going to continue my push to this family, noble or not. Sebastian himself went from a heir to a sugar plantation to the captain of a trade ship, I think he's not to concerned about titles haha! As for these RP tests I cannot wait to see what you have in store :D

I've also wanted to get myself acquainted with the people in the house Black, Hoping to open up more opportunities within the family; perhaps moving up and applying for a family member. Character Name: Nikolai Piltzer Character Age: 21 Character Race: Ailor What kind of staff position is your character interested in?: Black House Bodyguard Briefly describe your character's personality and backstory: Nikolai originally came from the north, looking for something to give him more money than what he currently did, That being a sellsword. He came to Regalia in look for a new job. Having arrived he went around the tavern. Asking certain families. Most of them having somewhat importance in the community. If he could be a bodyguard to them, protect them for some regals on the side. Right now he's settled down, still looking for said job. He spent a major part of his life sailing, as I said before, as a sellsword. Often to other places to sell himself to whoever needed him. During those times he grew quite fit, learning how to use a blade better than most. Although he tends to almost never use a blade. Kind hearted: Nikolai loves helping people, Though when it comes to his work. He tends to show no remorse whatsoever. Aggressive: He also tends to get aggressive quite fast, he could go from having a fun time with his friends, to then trying to attack them. Cocky: Nikolai tends to "Talk a lot of stuff" about people, boasting about how he could beat them in a fight. Or that he could beat someone without knowing there true ability Joker: He trys to find humer in every situation, may that be something serious, or something not so serious. I don't think that I can offer you a position right now based on my usual criteria of whether I've had lots of personal RP experience with you and whether I can make an informed judgement as to whether there is compatibility between your RP style and the family image that I want to project. Keep at it though, RPing in Regalia, is my advice.
@HobblingHobbit, I've added Sebastian to the staff. A few things to note about the role in case @The_Shadow_King3 never brought them up. Current activities that the House Black fleet are involved in include providing escorts (i.e. bodyguards in the form of ships) to private merchant vessels, as well as supporting the family's own trade in exotic goods and treasures. Philip will also have his own private endeavours that he uses his ships for, just as Christopher does, and Neil does. As for privateering, however, this is an activity that requires (Regalian) government authorisation before it is performed in order for it to be deemed legal. House Black doesn't perform or participate in illegal activities. Therefore, there'll only be privateering work in circumstances in which we gain authorisation to do so. (Else, we'd be pirates.)

When he was twelve he was sent to a Nicoloan Traditional fighting school and left within eight months after becoming an Usario, and went to Regalia in search for work Personality: he is youthful and cheery, always ready to lend a hand and very protective of his friends. He is however honest to a fault, but knows this and try's to keep his yap shut in front of the higher ups
@LinkDaDink Hello, thanks for applying. I have to reject you for now based on the fact that I've never personally interacted with you in Regalia, and therefore have no way to judge your skills, compatibility with the family, etc.
As a foreword to anything theoretically posted at a later date, I am interested in applying for a staff position, although I'd need to interact with you. Also, the character I would be using for this would be my in-dev character that would have this written into his story. Additionally, on the note of said character, there is a solid baseline idea at this juncture, so do not fear the ever changing in-dev character.

Hello, don't be disheartened, but I don't think that you're quite ready for us yet. I think that you're building your current character around the idea of being hired by House Black, and I'd prefer it to not be that way. In other words, I prefer to interact with more fully developed, independent sorts of characters really, who don't need to rely on me solely for things to do IC-wise. It's not healthy for your character in terms of goals and development. That's just my opinion, anyway. Good luck, and feel free to approach IC for general banter, of course.
In all honesty I do see where you're coming from with this, I hadn't really thought about how much I was actually doing that until you brought up the point. Which, on that note, thank you for saying that. All this being said, and your offer of IC banter continuing (plus since I haven't made very many friends IC or OOC on here), I just might change my thought of this to simply befriending you/Chris and Rerik :p. Either way, thank for what time was put into the interview-ish process :D
