Fleur’s conception was between Madlene and another charming Avant from the Latimer family. However not long after her birth, the avants little sister, Acelina also was born from the same man. Her mother having an on and off relationship with this sfigure though seemed to cut ties after her sisters birth due to a falling out, the two girls keeping their fathers name. This situation also caused her mother to become sober and not touch the stuff ever since. Fleur’s burdigalan adapted family held great distaste for her and her sisters father and this was obvious to her even at a young age. Despite this, her mother made great efforts to indoctrinate burdigalan ways into her and her sister, raising them with strict morals and tough love. Trying to help them adapt to the modern day. As Fleur became more knowledgeable of the world, her mother imperialised her and got rid of her tipped ears, despite being a greatly traumatising experience for the avant she understood it was to help her get along with the ever growing world around her. However made great attempts to protect her younger sister from this harsh woman, as much as she could. After this her education took precedence alongside religious studies, a tough regime of tutors and home schooling took place for many years, being taught how to handle finance, diplomacy and written literacy. As she reached fifteen years of age, her mother had carved a fine studying diplomat, paying for only the best tutors with monetary guidance from her distant father, since the day she was born. In her teens, Fleur began to get along immensely with her mother. Maturing made it easier for the two to see eye-to-eye and they grew a close bond finally. Often shadowing her mother at work, inspiring her to fall into the scholarly footsteps as her role model had. Despite the controversy around a single mother and no father in sight, the two took it in their stride, deciding there was no need for a father figure as they seemed to handle life perfectly fine without one. Fleur was never told of who her biological father was, and her mother never remarried or had any other partners, strictly concentrating on her work. Taking an interest in culinary at this particular moment of her life, her mother handing down several burdigalan family recipes to her for practice, at this age she also developed long distance sight issues, taking on wearing glasses to help aid her. However just as Fleur finished her elven maturing and composed her own tutoring business in the City of Mayonne, she received a letter from her father. Explaining who he was and that it was him financially supporting her education and upkeep, requesting she came to Regalia to aid his cousin, Abelhard, with Acelina to meet him and aid him in his Aristocratic advances in the esteemed City. Despite her reluctance to go, her mother expressed it would be a learning curve for the two of them and they should take each moment in her stride, accepting the lavish lifestyle offered to her. Finally after some strong consideration and tears, Fleur left her mother behind in Vixhall with her sister and took the long voyage to reunite with her father and other Latimer kin. The first few days were quite an adjustment, getting used to speaking primarily common rather than her mother tongue as well as getting to know her siblings. Aiming to get herself in with the Cities scholars and continuing her tutoring antics. Albeit being horrendously homesick. Most recently she spent time working alongside the Imperial Court as a Mistress of Celebrations, holding a grand Debutante amongst her peers, after an almost year of work for the courts, she stepped down having burnt out, currently trying to find her place in Regalia once again.
