Welcome to the Dominion Newsletter for August 2022. The following is a roundup of what has been happening in the Dominion and its constituent factions concerning matters of Growth, building, warfare, RP and more!
If you are a faction leader and wish to join the Dominion, contact Sweet_Dreams or another Council member in game, if there is a play style available, we cater to it.
The Dominion has been actively building and fighting since the last newsletter! More Kingdom facilities have been erected and the Dominion Council has been expanded, in membership and duties (Welcome TheBoomyFly to the Council!). Sieges on Magnanimus and Dauntless were sadly lost but the Battle of Cressida, the servers largest siege up until that point was won thanks to the dedication of hundreds of people!

The Dominion Chronicles - Overview thread has been started to document and deepen Dominion lore and roleplay, with the latest entry being about the Battle of Cressida!

We also now have a much simplified form, for those who want a character in Dominion lore but aren't familiar with Massive lore, RP or character creation.
With the extended roles of the Dominion Council (Seen Below) recruitment for the Dominion will be starting up properly soon!

Volarys launches sieges on Magnanimus and Dauntless which we regretfully were unable to save. We look forward to seeing them back in our Kingdom chat soon!
There have also been a decent amount of raids and defences, helping us welcome new soldiers into the Kingdom and get more experience under the belts of our raid leaders.
The Dominion (and allies) took part in the Battle of Cressida too, however, with the Battle of Cressida medal being awarded to 54 members on our side alone. Estimates of the battle put the player count between 130 and 200.
The efforts of the soldiers and suppliers cannot be underestimated! Thank you all for your service.
With TheBoomyFly now added to the council and further building being done on Dominion facilities it is only a matter of time before the Dominion Market is up and running!

A place for each of the factions to talk about what has been happening within their faction.
Deldrimor called it's banners to assemble a host of soldiers to defend in both the Cressida and Dauntless sieges, led by King Sevak, Generals Shaneski, Traxex30 and Garama, several members of the King's Guard, and Marshal Adzy.
Sevak and Traxex planned out Kingdom Home expansion builds
Sevak cleaned up the faction's recruitment thread
Sevak and Sunsh1ne901 built an extension to the Kingdom's raid portal room
Continued creative work off server for future Ithania claim builds.
General participation in various sieges over the last couple weeks.
Refilling of potion room and stockpiling of various PvP supplies during heavy war times. (Chalsie, Knyxo)
Testing of defensive setups for general Dominion use to help better prepare for future sieges. (Knyxo)
Shoyru, Raze and Catalyst all took part in the supplying of the Battle of Cressida!
Raze managed to complete the town (with aid from Jareth, Zakaji and Catalyst) to a satisfactory enough degree that it can now start to be placed into Massive, with the help (Initially) of Catalyst.
Raze worked on the Dominion Chronicles forum thread to help with Dominion Lore.
KittyPoppins has been mining out the area under their base and helping to collect supplies for PvP.
During the Battle of Cressida KittyPoppins worked to repair a lot of armour during some of the clashes.
Torsmir has been planning the upcoming ball, planting flowers, trimming foliage and passing out flyers for the ball.
They have been brewing potions for the war and transporting them to the safehouses.
Dauntless has increased their starter houses from 27 to 103, mostly thanks to @Julu and @JepTheLegend . With this, Dauntless will start recruiting again.
And the Dauntless soldiers fought against Volarys for Cressida and home land, setting up defence, potions and repairs.
Some of Lurelin is lost on a raft.
Others are busy running a bed and breakfast.
Gryph finished the interior for its new player center with tutorials about the server and the faction to help recruiting in the future.
Supplied about 116 dubs of pots for the siege at magnanimus and weapons for oncoming battles.
Khetsura is currently redoing the inside of their faction home to give it a more tide-pool esque feel to it!
Magnanimus has its city under construction, a modified yet original city from back when we had our castle in new ceardia before server wipe. Lots of nostalgia on this one, it has Valorian architecture.
We are seeing housing for over 40 new members. Aside from the inner walls space, I expect the city will be grounds that promote pvp due to it's large sized Main Street and inner streets
HamCheese has been expanding the city of Hamamia with some more towers and farmland.
Also working on getting a better, more permanent name for the faction
BlueChaos helped with the Battle of Cressida, supplying a large amount of potions and Diamonds and has continued to work on supplying the Dominion for future sieges.
Completed the building of the Guild halls and Potion room.
