I RP a lot and even when I'm out exploring I still RP a little because my RP character did a fair bit of exploring. but for some reason today I got jumped by 3 skellies and instead of saying "shit skellies" I said "god dam bandits" I didn't know why I said it but it sounded cool, so I started thinking hat other mobs were connected to RP. I saw a spider and called it a savage vespid, I saw a zombie called it an undead. I then started thinking of other names like: Maiar being squids (unoriginal I know but nothing else fits), blazes=Dakkar, armoured zombies I called them bandits (same as skellies but you know it works) Yanar=trees (same as Maiar, best fit), Ocelots=Tigran and I coulnt think of any thing for Naga.

So I posted this to ask did any one else do this and if you guys think it should be done more often?

I often RP even when I'm alone, even when I don't have time to type it out, I'm still in the mentality. Though I wouldn't call zombies and skeletons bandits. I'm dedicated in RP to killing undead, so I just call them undead. Bandits are usually players who try to kill anyone they see.

You shouldn't really need to worry about the Yanar and Naga, as Naga are rare already, simply because Human army nearly wiped them out. The Yanar, I wouldn't say they are there, unless a Spider has the Regen effect on them, I would say they have a "Yanar's Blessing". And The Pigmen would honestly be an Orc. They act like it, they sound like it, and they are powerful as it. The Ghasts are all the souls that have been executed for being so evil, so they were condemned for hell. Honestly, I like to think of it this way, and most of the things that happen in Game that aren't explained in lore are basically 'made-up' in my character's own Schizophrenic mind, mainly so only I have to worry about it. Otherwise, I really wouldn't declare these things as they are, but neat idea, nonetheless.

The nether in massivecraft isn't hell it's like a big cave under Elador. The reason u dont make orcs
Pigmen is becuase only Dakkar could
Live there.

Ahem. We are most certainly NOT squid.
Nice thoughts on the other ones, though. :)

Squid - Wild Maiar
Yanar - Only the jumbo trees that spawn naturally out of oak get this classification.
Zombies - Undead humans.
Baby Zombies (Zoombies) - Undead Dwarves
Skeles - Undead Elves
Zombie Pigmen - Zombie Orcs cursed by their actions to live forever below the surface.
Blazes - Agni/Whatever the new name is.
Ghasts - Corrupt Spirits
Creepers - Corrupt Naga (they have 'scales' over their bodies?)
Spiders - Vespid spawn, wild vespid
Livestock - Dinner

MonMarty, please confirm this so I can use it in my anthology.

Next minute people are going to walk around talking to trees like "hey there tree can you heal me?....why won't you talk to me?... Fine let me die ill burn you and all your friends down.... I'm sorry for what I said can we be friends again?.....I thought we were friends... Fine ill leave" great RP there

Different people are into RP at different levels. I personally can't RP for shit, but some people are good enough to do it without other people (like what you did). The only form of RP I like is a bit of story writing. I don't actually enjoy RP-ing ingame.

Blazes would have to be a thing all their own. The Dakkar are more lizard-like, whereas the blazes are more mechanical.
