Almost complete! Before I make this video link public. I want to see what you guys have to say and what changes I need to make. Overall, I think that all this hard work of recording really paid off. This link is just an example of what the trailer looks like. In the end, I am going to be making a Recording Event where all of us stand at the front of the Tavern. I don't really have the time or date for this Event, but just stay tone in the forums. If you see me around on the server. Shot me a message for updates.
Again. Thank you all that participated in the Trailer. Loves and kisses -RandomMinez

I like it, but you asked for feedback so I'l going to give it:
  • The text overlay appears to wave a bit as you transition across areas. I'd also look into using the lime green MassiveCraft font that fits the server.
  • I'd change "From Feb. 4th, 2011" to "Since February 2011" or "Since Feb. 4th, 2011"
  • at 0:23 the transition swaps between the 4 hub signs very rapidly, causing a blur that makes it unreadable.
  • The rest of the video also has the issue of being too fast and high paced. It might be nice to slow down the motion so that a curious reader can suck in all that is being shown.
  • A smaller comment mostly revolves around the lack of a resource pack. It's designed with the server build theme in mind, and helps to highlight the server atmosphere instead of generic mineman server #2456. I recall you had an issue with running the pack with shaders, though if I had to pick one over the other I'd go with the pack and maybe a simpler shader pack like chocopiclight.
Overall it's a good video that showcases everything the server offers, and well done doing this.

  • Make sure you eliminate all typos from your video. It's the easiest way to make it look unprofessional.
  • Improve the colour space- maybe add a colour corrector when you're editing the video.
  • It's all about the bits- increase the bitrate to something like 30-40M, and make sure the video is rendered at 60FPS, or at least a very smooth 30. Also, since your video has a lot of quick cuts and movements, enable two-pass rendering. It'll increase the render time, but the quality difference will make itself known pretty quickly.

Fantastic! Then I got some work to do.
  • Again I do apologize with the resource pack, and if I was to add it. I have to start all over recording. Since I already recorded in default.
  • "From Feb. 4th" I don't know what I was thinking. Brain farted I guess.
  • Will try to slow down at 0:23 and some other scenes. Reminder that there will be an ending scene where everyone is standing at the front of the Tavern.
  • Will change all the text to a lime green to match the Massivecraft Logo.
  • Also going to try and fix the wavey text in the beginning.
Thanks for the comment. @FireFan96

Thanks for the comment @Winterless
  • If you can. Point out the typos that I missed or anything that I can change in the text.
  • Colour Corrector. I'll give that shot and see how that looks.
  • I use a program called Sony Vegas Pro 13 and After Effects. I'll do some research on how to make the quality smooth and increase the bit rate.

Alright! @Winterless @FireFan96
I just wanted to knock out the easiest quest that I fixed for you guys that ask me.
  • Added lime green text.
  • Fixed "From Feb. 4th 2011"
  • While rendering. I made bit-rate to full max. 40mil.
  • Added a color corrector for all the clips with mid color burst.

What do you guys think?

Hm?
Sorry did I miss something? If so, then msg me if you can. Give me your username so I can figure what I did wrong.
He's joking. He thinks he's old lel.
I personally like the default texture pack. If you re-do some scenes, I wouldn't mind the switching if you pointed out that a custom resource pack exists.

Also I think the section that goes "weekly - weekends - player events" would work better as "weekly - player events - weekends", which might have been what you intended, in all likelyhood.

Thanks for showing us this! very kewl
