I have noticed on some days a helpop is answered almost instantly, while others, 8 + hours goes by and I log, to find "offline" as a resolution. I doubt I am the only one who uses /modlist to see 4 mods online, and wonders if the helpop will be responded to shortly.
While I'm sure the Trusted members enjoy helping, after so many xyz helpop's they probably just want to sit back at their favorite tavern and drink the day away.
I'm not sure if there is a good solution, however in my experience with other mmo \ online rpg games, moderators have access to other servers where they are not allowed to help \ reveal themselves as a mod. While this is true for Minecraft, Massivecraft is unmatched so far as I can tell by other servers.
So my suggestion would be to allow our moderators a venue to play MassiveCraft in a manner where they can be themselves, and not on duty. Perhaps a command similar to the faction admin override but when used it removes their title, or it masks their name entirely with a nick, and changes their permissions to that of a normal player.
I've seen several moderators leave or otherwise be removed from the server, they seemed to be good people, however they become burnt out of the game because of their position ( granted if one wishes to advance within the game they should be prepared for it )
Disclaimer: This thread is intended to introduce an idea and possibly help the mod team out with separating their time between being able to play, and being refreshed to handle /helpop requests. There are always going to be ways that a system can be abused if the person using it has a malicious intent. If the suggestion is accepted that would be a good time to discuss the mechanics etc.
