Hey I missed wed-nes-day, but here some DnD stuff I've been on. Some picks not related

This was a design for a NPC named Jim who was a second hand of a group called the Wake Pirates in a small lagoon village that the players first started in. He had a Australian accent that I loved to do and he had some interesting moments with one of the characters. A funny thing that happened more than once would be he would always miss his first shot with his gun. The high elf player with him set up a trap for a passing group of travelers, taking out one with a nat twenty on his first shot. When I rolled for Jim's shot he missed at almost point blank.

These are some later plans I had for him. The next city, the Fault of Gohëm, that they're going to is gonna be the main place they're gonna stay at for the campaign. I was gonna have him be an undercover guard while there.

This is gonna be a higher level recurring foil to the characters. I haven't gotten I complete idea for her but I like the idea of a constant rival for them.

Just unrelated, I watched a video on this game called The Ghost of Tsushima which looks pretty badasss.

A big thing I've always wanted to do was play through all the Metal Gear games in about a week or two. It's one of those things that I like a lot and appreciate all the little things in it, but have never actual played it.

I dunno where I go with a lot of these, some I take from just cool nature inspiration. Or just somthing that's on my mind at that time. This guy was cool though.

You're gonna see a lot of beards throughout this.

Suspicious Fisher Mister. These ball point pens are wonderful.

I always thought the bomb suits looked sorta comfortable. They're probably hot and bulky in reality.

I remember back in RDR2 I pretty much spammed the beard growing tonic as Arthur Level 10 Beard was nice though. Very fluffy. + cool physics. 11/8 Beard.

Y'know gambling is somthing I like and dislike. I'm pretty good at cards though.

Darkest Dungeons has always kicked my ass and always will. The party wipe on Vvulf almost made me break my computer. On the level five dungeons or up. One tiny misclick or wrong attack can R u i n. A well going run.

I always find doing scenery, even though minimal as it is. Surprisingly comfortable to do. Just working with the mistakes and making each line fits is so nice to do.

This one was the start of me doing a lot of these beards.

I'll never forget the snow and trees up in Wyoming when I went back two years ago. It was a pretty place compared to what I've been too. I'd love to go on a hunting trip there sometime during the cold.

I should probably throw more of these in whenever I post. Some people I know like to call it the quarter test. Since some of my drawings can be. "Deceptively Small" even though this is a dime. You can probably tell from the amount of detail and lien I put in somthing, but you'd be surprised by some.

This is my character Ru in a DnD like thing Perc has running. Still getting into it so can't say much about her. Other than she's basically a ballista.

Hey it's that time again. And that's to spam a bunch of pictures.

Spoiler: It's more like a slab of steel rather than a sword.

I got into reading Berserk recently, pretty good stuff But not for the faint of heart. It has some pretty good artwork and the characters chemistry together is pretty damn nice. And an +A on the art seriously.

Cool dude, I forgot where I put my first few sketches of him.

A lot of these might just be random stuff I throw out from my book. It's almost filled up at this point, I got about 20-30 pages left I believe.

Oh yeah, I did Mariner Monday. Above and Below there you go.

A random knight I did a few sketches of and liked the concept. Also I did pretty good on the arabic.

I did a bunch of people in armor this week looking back on it. This guy was pretty cool.

Creating random NPCs or characters from a table top game or just any RPG in general can be a good way to exercise drawing or commission taking. Time yourself and see how far you get in drawing. This one right here is a rouge imperial I saw a friend play in Skyrim awhile back. Another good thing to go with is Dwarven Fortress, since the size of description text (that's random every time) to describe the last beard hair on each of your dwarves can be good reference.

The amount of stress to reload a breech rifle must have been painful.

Back on Berserk, there's just somthing about the combined art style, setting and way the characters react. For one the art is too damn good at points. The way the shots are complicatedly placed and the amount of armor is too good.

Hey. Hi, hello. it's been awhile. A week, well two weeks but enough said. I took a bit of a break this week and couldn't post last week, so he's a mixing pot of both.

I'll start off by a new game I've been playing called Unreal World. or UrW for short. UrW is a realistic survival RPG with tileset graphics, and if you don't know what tileset graphics are type in firefox, "Dwarf Fortress" and you'll get an idea. And Let me say. UrW is quite the bastard. You are set in the Iron Age in a Finish setting, with Finish folklore, with Finish people and finally, Finish Snow. So expect a lot of conifer forests, Boreal Climates and lakes, tons and tons of lakes. And when you drop in you're pretty much given total freedom. Hunt, build, fight most to all places you want. But be careful, because it's brutal. My most recent character, A warrior, that I finally got geared up with good weapons and armor got pretty much one shot in the abdomen by a crossbow. Dying later of the coldness. Beyond that it can be pretty damn fulfilling. The combat can be random and at the will of a die, but if you know what you're doing you can get by mostly.

The Sartolaiset are a people that live in the most western part of the land. They live to wrestle, and have pretty big villages and got a knack for knives. They also trade in furs.

This is a Njerpez, they're the only non-playable culture thats in the game. Their hostile and localized raiders in the northern land and carry heavy armors and curved swords, Though a thing about the Njerpez is that they're prized for being hunted. Taking down one is fairly easy to and the loot is nice. They carry bright red clothing and usually travel in ones. Though if you come across a band or a camp it can become ugly.

Weird thing is most my characters deaths have been from Njerpez raiders and from drowning.

This was one of my first characters, an Island Fisher.

What do you want a life story? Whelp nothing for these past few weeks. Except work. And excessive procrastination. Man I hate that dude. Uh. anyways. How's everyone been? I've been gone for a bit.

Summer right around the corner is always nice, though for me it's surprising since spring somehow vanishes.

I always had an idea for a character on here as a wizard that's an old alior wizard that had a bunch of just blue geometric magic. Good old Math Wizard, but no joke I always wanted to see one of those wizard types on the server.

I uh, what else did I do. Oh yeah. Finished up reading on Berserk That cliff hanger is an ass. Sekiro looks pretty cool. Especially the combat god that looks good. New Minecraft textures are odd but oddly fitting. The only one that might take some getting use to is the emerald. But everything looks fine as hell. Does anyone read these? I need to get new pencils or markers. Probably somthing like copic? I need somthing to work as shading. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I'll get to Sheogorath my dude. I remember doing that quest faintly.

I've gotten to the point where I just doodle random armor pieces now.

Hi. I'm alive. I should've posted somthing sooner but eh. I've been getting better never less. I should try and find them but I've started to get into landscape and older buildings. It's really relaxing placing steeples and the roofs of houses across a paper. Anyways. Those three are highlights of the three months prior really, and chronologically too. Other than that I've been doing well, been reading a bunch of series and been playing Outer Worlds too. Very solid game so far is all I gotta say.

I'll say with the coronavirus around I've gotten a lot of time to spend practicing at home. I've started to go digital too, though I only tend to draw digitally in discord calls. It's motivating, really is, as it's easy for someone to ask a request then me meme the hell out of it.

I've started to try new patterns when shading. Found it makes for a cool texture to look at it.

Scars have been pretty interesting to try out. I was reading Dungeon Meshi and one of the villains had a damaged eye that was half closed. Pretty creepy looking, but added to a good aesthetic for him.

Here's a snipit of that digital art I was talking about. I never really liked it before and seen how traditional inking or art can mend just as well to an online profile. But over the week I've gotten to like it more, plus it just feels good to be able to quickly scribble somthing up rather than how traditional art is.

If you're still reading, this is a character for a tabletop game a friend on this server is hosting. It's called Lancer and looks pretty fun. I went through their online toolshop and made a character quickly. The rules and rolling aren't complicated either and they work well.

Anyways, Lancer is a mech genre of a d20 game. You play as a pilot and pretty much do what any mech pilot does. Blow up other mobile suits or take down giant scalies with giant axes. The character I'm playing below is named Mariska; who is a french pilot that's an outlaw convicted under a noble family. She pilots a long range mech under the name Manx.

I may post something later this month, stay safe out there though. And only go outside if you have to.​

I've do a lot of cat-people? It's a go to I've found whenever I can think of anything else.

However one thing though is that people really go for or only expand on is: "CATGIRL CATGIRL GIRL OOOWWWGGGGA" And while I'm one of those people, I think you can get a pretty good character with the same pieces that's male instead of the broad 'Cat-Girls' It's not done often but I feel like you can get something like a Berserk side character that's focused on the character while the cat part is just a bit of flare or has backstory. The best I've seen in depict Catgirls is Stella from a game called Va-11 hall-a. The focus on her character isn't really on her cat ears and when she does open up you learn that people with those ears where the product of a fad a few decades back where parents signed up for genetical engineering on their children. Pretty fucky.
