there is a thread that explains that, but there is a button on the top of the page click on it and you will create a thread.
I have a lot of pet peeves (I'm a ghost from ghostbusters, fueled by hate), so many I made a list.
*Vampires roleplaying as Twilight Vampires
*People roleplaying out of our fixed races
*Stereotypical Orphan roleplayers
*People who are born with magical abilities
*People who roleplay as Kings/Queens with no information or evidence to back up their claim and think they rule Regalia bossing around everyone, including nobles
*God roleplayers
*"Good morning Atgur!" "Good morni-" SHRIEK SHRIEK SHRIEK SHRIEK SHRIEK
*When someone uses the exact same skin when making a new roleplay character
*People who are reincarnated in a new roleplay character somehow magically become adults
*People who are reincarnated in a new roleplay character that somehow remember their past lives
*People who are reincarnated in a new roleplay character who comes back for revenge to kill the person who killed off their last roleplay character despite not having any knowledge of their previous character's death other than meta-gaming
*People who are reincarnated
*Reincarnation
*Modern skins
*Regalian Lore book clearly states undeadism is illegal but for some reason Undead rome free
*There are undead in Aloria despite there being no Necromancy. Please update me if I'm incorrect
*Long lists (Oh the irony)
*People roleplaying as Dark Elves
*Girl skins with denim shorts, striped shirts and the same stereotypical girl skin face with the long hair swept into on of their eyes, it's quite frankly a hazard
*The fact that I've wasted 15 minutes of my life writing this list.
Amen.
Reminds me one time when I was rping with one of my friends, and this random person comes up and calls her by her rp name and she asks how he knows it and he says "I see it above your head" and she managed to play it off by swats air above head "Hm, I didn't know that."My pet peeve is also when people don't know my character but say my name, then when I ask, 'How do you know my name?' they say, 'I can see it in your eyes.'
OrWhen People Type Like This.
Every Damn thing You Have To Say Is So Important Every Word Must Be Capital.
I think my biggest pet peeve is when you're trying to role play, and a huge group comes up OOC, getting in your faces. I don't care so much if they're just minding their own business, but I won't lie. Drives me cray cray if they get all up in my IC business. Ermagerd.
And I suppose another big one, already mentioned, is when people take my character's personality and apply it to me. Some... Er, most of my characters uphold morals that do not match mine. I think this is true for a lot of people.
Aren't they, y'know, nonexistant? I could be wrong though.
Are
Aren't they, y'know, nonexistant? I could be wrong though.
1. People who still use "insults" from 5 years ago which make them look like a moron.
(I know you are but what am I?)
2. People who lie about me to try and win an arguement with me. They still lose.
3. 10 year old kids on left4dead2 and tf2, who only know how to curse.
4. People who try to scam me.
5. People who think just because my rp character is Insane and rude, think I am.
6. When my computer's rolling chair rolls over my headset cord, as it gets stuck in the wheel.
7. Racist people.
3. People who can't count.
10. People who TALK WITH FRICKEN TEXT TALK IN REAL LIFE
My education system is racist. I can't get a scholarship for college because I'm white. (Even if I get a perfect 4.0 GPA) And some black kid with a 1.2 gets a full scholarship to Yale.
Another one of my pet peeves is when 12 year old are faction officers.
how is staying calm a skill? its a game why would it be hard to keep a cool head?๖ۣۜOooh, that reminds me of a pet-peeve!
๖ۣۜI have a lower voice than a lot of the people whom are even 16, 18, and the uncommon occurrence of 20...
- ๖ۣۜPeople whom stereotype me because of my age. Too many times have people called me an idiotic squeaker. It pisses me off SO MUCH. I mean, I was plenty a good person within things like Zion, heck, back in the day of 200 in a skill was deadly, I was one of the top in command whilst I was active within the faction! Why? Cause I did better than a lot of the 15-16 year olds. And I was 12-13 at the time. I was even offered officer within the faction Pristina, because I could keep a cool head within war and I could use GOOD DIPLOMATIC AND PEACEFUL TALKS. :C What is funniest though is this...
๖ۣۜI like laughing at how they call me a high-pitched squeaker, then I get to boom with laughter as they slowly reach the high C when they make their voice lower.
how is staying calm a skill? its a game why would it be hard to keep a cool head?
not me, I just laugh at there idiocy and use there anger to my advantage. :3 but I guess I can be frustrating, the wars my words have started.๖ۣۜYou seem to ignore the fact how hard it is to keep calm when talking to flamers and people whom never like to respect you. ._.
Game or not, we all have certainly gotten pissed off by them, because they're people as well, yet they still choose to ruin the gaming experience just so theirs can be "better". In Zion, a lot of our enemies didn't just declare for fun, they just plain out hated us and would often scream and taunt and be rather rough to the people within the faction, even if they never even have talked or seen the player. At the time, Zion was mainly a "Family-Friendly" faction, so we had a bunch of people whom were under 14 as well, and I will certainly say that it can and will be a bother if some of the younger gamers do their stereotypical screaming and whining and lying of 'hacking them' and such.
๖ۣۜEven over a game it can be a bother, plus, I am sure there probably has been at least one time when you see a faction member go,
WERE BEIN RAIDEDED BEWHVEENARVCASRVSA ALLYS HELP QUIK RAIDRS EVER1 HID ND NEVER COME OUT AGIAN
๖ۣۜIf you haven't, I am going to actually be quite surprised. ._.
Ah, that explains it. Silly goose I am.Ah, there are subraces. Drowdar is one that looks like the traditional dark elf.
I think my pet peeve is not being given enough time to react. I'll be in the middle of typing something, but the person I'm rping with types faster, and makes me have to re-do my entire sentence at times because they posted something that conflicted with what I was writing.
My pet peeve is how little roleplay there is. When I picture a role play server, I picture people doing it constantly, not having groups of people standing around arguing about which Call of Duty is the best, and then they occasionally role play. If people want to say stuff that's not related to role play, they should use (( )), not just blabbing about random real life stuff all the time.
When people are rping with you, and they dodge every freaking hit I hate that one, whenever they do that I am all like
When people automatically hate your character because of their last name.
Too much.
All too much.
;(
It's almost annoying, really. Let alone, I'm surprised there hasn't been a single person like "Who cares about the name?"
Literally all people I've met that hate the name hate everyone in it, and when they find someone is truly one of that family, bewm, gone.
I just remembered:
Emoticons in rp text. I'M SORRY IF YOU DO THIS but ahh it's just one of those things that when I see it I'm always put off by it. It doesn't even mean I won't rp with that person it's just a personal thing I would never do and I much prefer if someone would be descriptive.
My education system is racist. I can't get a scholarship for college because I'm white. (Even if I get a perfect 4.0 GPA) And some black kid with a 1.2 gets a full scholarship to Yale.
I'll admit, I do this
I give like a 4 second pause or somewhere around their, but if it's a awkward pause in a action scene, I would prefer you to make a few mistakes over trying to make what you say perfect. Keeepppp ittt fllooowwwwwiiiin' mannnnn!
Try this.
_____ sends the fist towards their gut.
Then follow through with a line like
____'s fist would make contact with their gut.
Not going to lie, I hate people who do this. I can't respond with anything other then a one-liner when they do this, otherwise they take control of my character so i get hit. I prefer "-moves to the left, gaining a cut on his side as he does so-" Over frantically typing "-dodges-" as fast as i can because they will kill my character if i don't. If this method you explain here isn't god role-play i don't know what is.
