There was a thread like this a while back, but I didn't quite feel like necro-ing it.

Basically, this is self-explanatory. Tell us what your characters' hogwarts houses would be, and why!

I did some of mine, and it was actually sort of. Surprising, for a few of them.

Marisa Grimaldi: Slytherin. By default. Her two most prominent positive traits are cunning and ambition, and her most prominent negative traits are cruelty and dishonesty. This creates an extremely Slytherin-esque personality, and I have absolutely no doubt that she'd fit into Slytherin.

Kayumi Chigusa: Bit of a tie between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Out of her four pertinent traits, Curious and Quirky correspond to Ravenclaw, and Dedicated and Caring are glaringly Hufflepuff. So we must look at other parts of her character application for definite answers. I would say that, if she were to be sorted at Hogwarts, it'd end in a hatstall, where the hat would take into consideration her personal preference- which would end up being Ravenclaw, due to her ambition of gaining knowledge.

Ceijjaelo Dah'Iellacent: Gryffindor, though more on the negative side of the house's traits- He's brave, but to the point of recklessness. Confident, to the point of arrogance. Aggressive, and Wrathful, despite his dependability. He most definitely fits this house.

Mercedes Aguila: Another Slytherin. I haven't made a character application for her yet, but she's highly manipulative and slightly flirtatious.

Juelliae Llaenecia: A definite Hufflepuff. She's devoted, caring, and helpful, despite the growing mental effects of her Prosperity Possession. Even then, this feeds into her generosity, yet another Hufflepuff trait.

Cynsosiel Vogel: Ooh, this one's a bit tricky. I know most people see that she's pretty snarky. And typically, it's thought that evil characters are placed into Slytherin by default. I found a list of common traits, however, and she actually fits none of them! Resourcefulness, cunning, ambition, and cleverness do not exactly describe this uneducated and occasionally lazy Shendar whatsoever. So onto another house- Ravenclaw. She doesn't fit here either, as an illiterate and unwise mess of a person. Gryffindor? Nope. She isn't exactly brave unless her husband or child are in danger, and she's far from chivalrous. So where does that leave us now? That's right. I'm insinuating that this sadistic blood mage is in fact a Hufflepuff. "How can this be, Tomato?" you may ask. The answer is clear. Looking at her two positive traits, Loyal and Helpful, both are glaringly traits of a Hufflepuff. Additionally, tolerance is listed as a trait of Hufflepuffs, and while not listed on her character sheet, I've found that she's become pretty tolerant of others' beliefs through rp. Along with the traits of cheerfulness and friendliness being present a good portion of the time, but not often enough to warrant inclusion on her character sheet. However, both of her negative traits, impatience and malice, contradict the typical traits of kindness and patience within hufflepuffs. But, it is often said that those who cannot fit into other houses will wind up in Hufflepuff due to their inclusiveness. And she most definitely does not fit anywhere else, which is why I rest my case- Cynsosiel Vogel is a Hufflepuff.

Gryffindor: Sasha, Tessa, Lionel, Phon
Hufflepuff: Ribbon, Mari
Ravenclaw: Roxanne, Ulysess
Slytherin: Mr. Ford

Some people are easy to decide because their traits pointed them that way.

Sasha obviously boasts the reckless and glorious traits, and the Von Greif family expressed such vision for greatness and adventures. Whereas Ribbon got Hufflepuff from her down-to-earth trait and the will to help people here and there as needed. Roxanne is very obvious as she's a genius bookworm, and Ulysess, although he was a hunter, actually used advanced mathematics to calculate his shots so he shows heightened intelligences.

Mr. Ford is a no brainer. Do I have to explain?

The people who aren't so easy are Mari and Phon

Mari, well...she's just too damn simple. So I kind of rounded up her overall traits and put her where she'd mostly belong. But in all honesty she wouldn't even be attending.

And Phon, well...he appeared crossing between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. But I ultimately settled on Gryffindor because his underline defiant and "jump-in" tone overruled it.

Llytaei:
"Or perhaps in Slytherin,
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means,
To achieve their ends."

It was a hard decision between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, as Ravenclaws are known for their wisdom, intelligence, creativity, cleverness and knowledge. Those who value brains over brawn can be found in the house. Ravenclaws often tend to be quite quirky as well. "Do what is wise" is the motto they strive to follow, I found that Llytaei relates to a lot of the common traits found in Ravenclaws, however I feel he relates to Slytherin's more. Slytherin's are known to be cunning, prideful, resourceful, ambitious, intelligent, and determined, these traits relates to him a lot. They love to be in charge and crave leadership. "Do what is necessary" He's devoted to uncovering information and learning, to further his knowledge. Llytaei is flexible and able to thrive in different settings showing what must be done even if complications and restrictions arise, thus I believe he'd fall into Slytherin.

Ravenclaw Keanu and Alwin
Gryffindor James, Dima, Julius, Horris
Hufflepuff Nada, Enzo, Yano
Slytherin Jean, Danny, Bucky

Fernanda: Hufflepuff all the way. She's curious, quirky, and innocent. She'd be the Head NO DOubt lol jkjk.

Berthilda Vogel: Hmm, I would say 80% Slytherin and 20% Ravenclaw because she gets her cruel and cocky ways from her mother and cleverness from her father.

I took the Pottermore test and Naushe got Gryffindor, which wasn't really all that surprising.

I'm a Hufflepuff meself.
