They are pious dragon worshippers, each member of the family free to choose their own dragons and values. ⋆ History ⋆ ⊱ The Beginning || House Asteri originiates from Ellador, having settled near the Dorkarth border centuries before the Cataclysm. They lived for years within Clan Vaainyr as fierce battle mages and wyvern riders. Around 100 AC, the conflict with Dorkarthi vampires became too much for the current matriarch and her partner. Fleeing Ellador was a heartbreaking decision, but they almost lost their lives one too many times. Escaping with their wyverns, they flew until they couldn't and landed in Anchal. ⊱ Survival || Astra Asteri and Orion Astraea made their home within the hold of Arranca. Their living was made from Astra's ability to create and weave magic into fabrics to create something wholly new. Her talents were talked about all around Anchal and she started her own business while Orion reared young wyverns. Soon, they were ennobled and gifted the County of Arranca, being mistaken for Fin'ullen instead of Isldar. The family would not be recognized as true Isldar until 205 AC. ⊱ Growth || The Asteri family boomed thereafter, the rest of the Asteri family joining Astra in Solleria. They made their home in their capital city of Solaris, aptly name for the region and for their family. Through deep and strenuous enchantments, the family was able to make the region resemble their home of Ellador. Sevnty-five percent of the year, the region is filled with beautiful, glittering snow that could rival their homeland. ⊱ Expansion || Around 130AC, Astra and Orion's daughter, Estrella, inherited the County. While she was busy with the house trade, her brother, Blair went back to Ellador to strike a business deal with the most popular liquor manufactuerer. He agreed to business with them and began to import Isldarrin liquor to the Regalian Empire under the name of Stella Asteri Liquors. ⊱ Current || Each Countess that came after proved their worth to their family. The family exploded, Isldarrin families being notoriously huge. Each new generation would be sent to spend 10 years in their ancestral homeland of Ellador to get a grasp on their heritage. They are raised with ambition and piety drilled gently into them. Every Asteri child is bonded with a wyvern upon turning five years old, cultivating that bond until death. ⋆ Notable Cities ⋆ ⊱ Solaris || The capital city of Arranca where most of the Asteri family resides. They rule from the mountains in a beautiful castle adorned with glittering snow. Many of the towns people can spot the Asteri wyverns swooping around the crystal spires of the Asteri home. ⊱ Silverwood || Arguably the most important city in Arranca. Where silk, satin, cashmere, and more are made and enchanted to send out to the masses of Regalian Empire. Silverwood is full of lush evergreen forests and crisp air from the dangerously high mountains. ⊱ Kallistar || The port city of Arranca where products are imported and exported. Misty seas blend seamlessly into the frosty and cobbled streets of this bustling seaside haven. ⋆ Sucession ⋆ ⊱ Astra Asteri || {158 BC - 130 AC} Founder and first Countess of House Asteri in the Regalian Empire. She was a talented seamstress and enchantress, celebrated in Solleria for her craft and attention to detail. Tragically, her reign ended when her beloved partner, Orion, died in a wyvern riding accident. Her broken heart was too much to bear and her children claimed she died from it. ⊱ Orion Astraea || {80 BC - 129 AC} The partner of Astra and fierce Isldarrin ranger and wyvern rider. They brought many clutches to Arranca when fleeing the North, taking it upon themselves to hatch and raise wyverns for the future of their family. They died during a leisurely ride, falling from their wyvern into the ocean and drowning. ⊱ Estrella Asteri || {105 AC - 207 AC} The next Countess of house Asteri, daughter of Astra and Orion. Her pursuits in life consisted of archery and wyvern riding when she was not occupied by her hold. She died in childbirth. ⊱ Castor Silverwood || {86 AC - 180 AC} Ithanian Ailor, husband of Estrella. He died of disease. ⊱ Pasha Asteri || {148 AC - 309 AC} The third Countess of House Asteri. Daughter of Castor and Estrella. She was a woman in love with astronomy, the stars, and the moon. Her magic manifested into starlight, dazzling those around her always. She passed when her and her wyvern traveled too high up towards the stars. ⊱ Ambrose || {130 AC - Current} Isldar partner of Pasha, currently guiding and raising their children to the best of their ability. They currently keep affairs in order within Solaris while Astoria spreads her wings in Regalia. ⊱ Astoria Asteri || {200 AC - Current} - @WingedJade Current Countess of House Asteri, a Lifesinger and student of magic. Astoria spends her days now in Regalia, making more of a name for herself and her family. She aims to become the most notable countess of House Asteri, attempting to surpass their founder. ⊱ Asterin Asteri || {200 AC - Current} Triplet to Astoria and Asterin, daughter of Ambrose and Pasha. The current overseer of Silverwood. ⊱ Asteria Asteri || {200 AC - Current} Triplet to Asterin and Astoria, daughter of Pasha and Ambrose. The current overseer of Kallistar. ⊱ Savraela Asteri || {290 AC - Current} - @faelcvns Another student of magic within House Asteri, daughter of Pasha and Ambrose. She is one of the few of her family to join Astoria in Regalia. ⊱ Draconis Asteri || {302 AC - Current} Second youngest of House Asteri. Child of Pasha and Ambrose. ⊱ Arden Asteri || {304 AC - Current} The current youngest child of House Asteri. Child of Pasha and Ambrose.
