Core Concept
An elven-trained 'experiment' whom escaped from Amontaar and eventually reformed into a retained mage, empowered to take revenge upon Nelfin-kind while apathetic to his duty in exterminating other occult. A worthy payoff of partial freedom and morality in return for protection and support in his vengeance.
Appearance Information
Bancroft is an awkward-looking Asha. Canid in appearance, with off-white fur, a reddish nose, flexible ears and most notably-- a long, thin, and slightly down-curved snout. His eyes are striking gold with crimson sclera, and his figure is incredibly lithe and elongated.
He's often seen wearing simple, dark robes with minimal crimson accents- accessorized only by his mage collar and Unionist eye pendant.

Life Story
Born into a life of poverty in Amontaar, Bancroft- Once known as "Vläenso," was taken from the Asha district as a young child, and illegally held within a magical weapons testing facility, both trained as a weapon himself and used to train Ephemer Homunculi's shapeshifting ability.
Once skilled enough in magic, the Asha laid waste to the facility he was trained in. It was a bloody eve lit only by the Void flames fueled by the mage's resentment for his capturers. He roamed for a while afterwards as a fugitive.
Eventually, he made his way to the Regalian empire. Soon after, the self-hating mage was seized by a party of Grauwald Lothar. Recognizing his usefulness and willingness to hunt alongside the Knights, he was retained and put to use as an attack mage.
Bancroft was brought to Regalia, where his newest retainer was selected; Erwin Braunschweiger. Now, he only aims to serve the order while dishing out deserved punishments to those aligned with the Allorn.
Plot Hooks
He could be known or recognized by Amontaarians for his past crimes. Many Teledden mage-scholars died in his hellish blaze.
He is a mage against mages, any conflict surrounding his willing retainment under the Lothar order is welcome.
