Introduction
- For too long, the vampire community has been fractured, lacking the strength of a powerful coven. La Maison de Seigneur - "The Lord's House" - intends to change that. Our coven is devoted to becoming the unbreakable foundation of vampiric life and culture. We shall become guardians of the Vampire District, aiming to secure and strengthen its defences to enable it to act as the sanctuary it supposed to be.
Whether you are a warrior drawn to the thrill of battle, a battlemage mastering blood magic, or a socialite immersed in intrigue, La Maison offers a place for each of you.

Goals
Build a Strong, Central Coven which will welcome, aid and ally with all other vampires. We hope to set a foundation for a powerful and unified vampire community.Roleplay
Strengthen the Vampire District and see it flourish with community presence and defences; enemies of Vampire kind should be afraid to enter such a terrifying location.
Be Welcoming to New Players, offering guidance, training and resources for those new to the server. Vampirism is often a draw for those just getting into Massivecraft, and was how I found the server myself.
Work With Server Staff to see new Eventlines created for interested and involved Vampire players who wish to go on adventures, and potentially establish direct contact with an NPC Desprince.
Combat Roleplay | Join hunts, duels and patrols to defend the Vampire District. Perfect for those who can handle and even enjoy the stress and chaos inherent in Massivecraft's combat system. Testing yourself against fellow coven members and taking the blood of our enemies whenever the chance presents itself!
Social Roleplay | Gatherings, banquets, secret meetings and even connections to the Noble Roleplay scene are open to members, providing chances to make alliances, socialise, scheme and masquerade with elegance in high society. -
The Coven operates with a simple hierarchy, where members rise through various ranks until reaching
the trusted rank of Loyalist, where they may pursue a custom title and all that comes with that.
Coven Ranks
- Thrall | Technically not considered a true rank, this role is automatically given to non-vampires who have been made into Thralls.
- Initiate | Brand new blood awaiting the ritual that will welcome them into the fold.
- Neonate | Freshly welcomed members of our coven, bound to assist their peers and obey their superiors.
- Votary | The committed and competent. These vampires guide the Neonates, uphold the coven's goals, and protect the Vampire District.
- Loyalist | A rank of respect. Trusted by all, Loyalists are valued for their steadfast loyalty and dedication. They are able to pursue custom titles and custom roles.
- Consigliere | The Inner Circle. Exclusively Greater Vampires, and advisors to The Lord Regent. Diplomatic voices and the coven's leading minds.
- The Lord Regent | The Leader of La Maison de Seigneur. Lord Regent Antediluvian embodies our collective will and oversees the Consigliere.

Bloodline Considerations
The Voilenigme Bloodline is perfect for those who enjoy subtle manipulation and social finesse. Accepted for their ability to blend seamlessly into high society, they bring value through their charm, diplomacy, and talent for navigating complex social hierarchies. A Voilenigme should excel at gathering secrets, influencing powerful figures, and maintaining the coven's elegant public image. Players of this bloodline will be expected to behave classy and take on roles of influence, using their beauty and intelligence to win allies.
Nerocanto Vampires are valued for their mastery of espionage and manipulation. Their ability to control others through blackmail and create Bound Thralls makes them very valuable. They are perfect for players who enjoy playing a more covert role and extra evil character: spying, plotting, and infecting others in ways more insidious than most. Players of this bloodline will be expected to provide Bound Thralls from time to time.
The Vintgast are known for being banquet masters, able to conjure the greatest of feasts, most delectable food, and above all addictive and perfect wines. Players of this bloodline will be expected to provide mind-read preferences non-Vampire persons of interest, and to help host social events through the creation of their food and drinks. They will also be expected to not get fellow coven members addicted to any of their wines.
Torrghlas are known for their ferocity, loyalty, and physical prowess. A warrior-oriented bloodline, distinguished by impressive strength. Torrghlas players would be expected to be intimidating, brutal and no-nonsense, keeping emotions in check and remaining loyal to the leadership. Represent security and strength, and crush our enemies.
Dymolov are known for their bold, demonic appearance and debonair temperaments. Their mastery of Fire Magic and ability to hide within the body of willing targets makes them excellent body guards and assassins, as a seemingly lone vampire may in fact harbour an unseen protector. Players of this bloodline will be expected to be bodyguards for other members, and sometimes dramatically reveal themselves during meetings with our enemies by leaving the body they were infesting.
Bremnevel Vampires offer value to the coven due to their alchemical knowledge and healing abilities, making them valuable as advisors and healers. They are known for usually having calm demeanours and a preference for controlled environments, which should help maintain stability within the coven as they act as a counterbalance to more chaotic or aggressive members. Members of this bloodline would be expected to use their Bat-transformation to fly and scout, to act as our scouts within Gloomrot, and to fill the role of a healer if capable.
Silberfeder are known for their strategic mindsets, discipline, and military expertise. Their obsession with control, hierarchy, and finesse in combat makes them ideal for leading groups and rising quickly through the ranks. Although it is no secret that the Voilenigme Leader of the coven oft clashes with this bloodline, he always concedes that their value to the coven outweighs any bias or rivalry he may have with their bloodline. Players of this bloodline will be expected to be very comfortable with CRP, to lead hunts, and to report victories in combat against our enemies.
Valhersir are known for their manipulative prowess, power-hungry nature, and spiritual depth. Their obsession with domination—whether through physical, mental, or spiritual control—makes them formidable strategists and valuable (though dangerous) advisors. Their ability to foresee possible futures provides interesting roleplay and in-character provides potentially incredible power. Players of this bloodline would be expected to be present during meetings with our enemies when possible, so they may use The Language of Command to translate any slights or insults, and to host future-telling roleplay scenes.
Finally, Aullavientos are known for their pragmatic nature, hunting prowess, and beast-master skills. Their ability to transform into chimera-monsters and command Hellbeasts (animals infected with vampirism) alongside their ability to speak with animals - including magical creatures like Marken - offers a strategic advantage in reconnaissance, controlling beasts, and even turning enemies into unwilling soldiers. Players of this bloodline would primarily be expected to offer hunter stories and take other vampires on hunts. Most of the value of this bloodline is in how cool they are. There will be no expectation for you to capture Marken players, but it will be rewarded if it does happen. -
The Blood Pact
Hierarchy Must Be Respected: The coven operates on a clear rank structure, and all members are expected to respect their superiors. This includes carrying out orders from higher-ranked members and following the guidance of The Lord Regent.
Challenge of Authority is Allowed, But Under Controlled Circumstances: Challenges for rank or leadership roles may occur, but they must be sanctioned and follow the established structure (e.g., through a formal duel or a vote). Uncontrolled challenges disrupt the coven's stability. Most importantly, questioning - with any hostility - a superior vampire's judgement in public, in front of non-coven members, is a grave breech of this rule and would be severely punished.
Fledglings Feeding on Fellow Vampires: Feasting on other vampires, unless in a formal duel or sanctioned context, is a violation. Cannibalism among vampires is considered a serious offense. Greater Vampires are expected to adequately defend themselves from such attempts, and won't be punished for their actions 'in self defence'.
Loyalty to the Coven Above All: Members must prioritize the coven's well-being over personal gain. Betrayal or the leaking of coven secrets is punishable by exile or death. You may not be in multiple covens at the same time.
Secrets of the Coven Must Remain Confidential: No member shall share coven secrets, including its plans, members, weaknesses, or any other private matters with outsiders or those not of trust within the coven. Breaking this rule is grounds for excommunication.
Formal Combat to Resolve Disputes: In case of disagreements, members must engage in formalized combat (duels, etc.) or seek diplomatic resolution through the Consigliere or Regent. Direct violence outside of sanctioned disputes is not allowed (though is rarely punished and not considered a serious offence).
Protection of the Coven's Territory: The coven's territory, especially The Vampire District, must be protected at all costs. Intruders or trespassers should be met with as much force as we can bring down upon them, and should only be conceded to when their forces are overwhelming, and confrontation would be suicide.
Sanctuary and Safehouses: Specific places within the coven's domain are considered sanctuaries. No one may violate these spaces unless authorized. These include: The Evolist Temple, The minor Temple in The Vampire District, the Coffin beneath The Vampire District entrance, and the homes of any Vampires in the coven.
Absence of the Regent: If the Regent is unavailable or incapacitated, a member of the Consigliere - or the otherwise highest ranking present vampire - assumes authority until the Regent can return.
Mutual Protection and Support: The coven is expected to defend and support each member in times of danger. If one member is under threat, the entire coven is expected to act in defence unless to do so would be suicide, or the threat was brought about by incompetence on behalf of the member in question.
Welcome Ritual: New members - Initiates - must be accepted into the coven formally, and each member must undergo a ritual of initiation whereupon they shall become Neonates. After a week of being a Neonate, if the Neonate has a single higher-ranking member vouch for them, they shall ascend to the rank of Votary.
The Masquerade
The Masquerade is not just a simple rule; it is a social contract that all vampires must observe in order to coexist.
"You may never reveal another Vampire's Glamour to non-vampires."
Regardless of allegiance, attempting to 'reveal' another Vampire in any way - such as by giving tips to Vampire Hunters to get a fellow Vampire's disguise caught, or by spreading rumours about a fellow vampire to increase suspicion against their Disguised form - is called 'Breaking The Masquerade.'
Vampires who break The Masquerade are hunted by the entire coven and sentenced to death.
