I'm aware that the server is a journey based "exploration" server where this is encouraged but I found in particular instances tpa used to help people out in particular situations. For example you die while with someone after exploring a map and youve travelled so far that it would take longer to get back. Tpa would allow you to reach the person again and not waste hours of time. Im sure some people have a gaming time limit anyway that either they or their parents set, so exploration is a great idea, yes, but tpa would allow people more time to reach their destinations without having to double back etc. I realise people would use it as a raiding strategy and abuse it aswell but people need a better form of travel, i mean only Premiums can make portals anyway. So Pls consider my complaint/suggestion but mostly complaint.

Well I dont like relying on a home bed. And the ability to make portals should be something all players can access.

With the economy the way it is, it is ridiculously easy to do almost everything that is hard in vanilla minecraft on Massive. Reimplementing tpa would just make the game even easier, when the server was first opened, it was set to hard difficulty for a reason.

There is, and should be, a consequence to dying. If you want to continue together, there are a number of warp points to get back together, or a faction home if you are in the same faction. Another strategy is to place a bed along your exploration route in case you die, and make it your home. Beds are the poor person's portal, as everyone has access to /home bed, once set by rt-clicking the bed, as well as the warp points (type /warp for a list of the warp points), and a faction home if they are in a faction and it is set. With these and some time learning the ship and blimp routes, travel becomes much less difficult.

Both latter two posts speak books on this issue.
