The following note would be posted around the sewers, with a few papers making their way out of the sewers and into the shady back alleys of Old Town.
With the increasing amount of conflict in Old Town, the Gray Market Monopoly has decided to make a little… game for those who are feeling lucky. The game is simple, here's how you play:
OOC Notes:
all regals are fake lore ones, not the actual server currency, so there's no downside to playing along!
In order to balance the game out, I'll occasionally make changes to the game, and will update this post.
Betting takes place over a Google form, in the Gambler's Delight channel in our Discord here: https://discord.gg/TjUJGbf
Betting closes 2-3 hours before the fight.

With the increasing amount of conflict in Old Town, the Gray Market Monopoly has decided to make a little… game for those who are feeling lucky. The game is simple, here's how you play:
- Pay an entry fee of 5 regals. 4 of them go into your "bank." (fake regals)
- Bet either 50% or 100% of your bank on the outcome of the next territorial battle. (wis battle)
- After the battle, those who were incorrect lose either half or their entire bank, depending on how much they bet.
- Then, the pool of lost earnings are distributed to the winners, with those who bet 100% getting twice as much as individuals who bet 50%.
- (Whenever a calculation ends with a decimal, the Monopoly will round down every time, taking the rest for themselves. We can't give/take 7.238 regals, for example, so you'll get/lose 7.)
- You can cash out whenever you want, or… you can keep playing and try for even greater riches. Getting a large enough bank will allow you to cash out for a very special prize from the Gray Market Monopoly.
