About the Mafia
The Mafia is made up of mostly Mundane individuals, Although magical/None-Mundane People are often accepted in because of their mystical skills. The Mafia mostly conducts its operations on the surface. It does this for a multitude of reasons, the surface has more wealth to collect, they don't have to deal with covens and Werebeast packs that are clouded by desires that don't have true value, and since they are mostly mundane the guard's gloss over them, seeing fighting unholy void and exist creatures as more important. The Mafia look innocent enough to not gain much attention, they only hurt the Kathars in the slums, after all, perhaps they are a benefit to the city. They manipulate the public perception of them in order to hide in plain sight. They never brute force anything, if they need to kill they have a deep and complex plan for it, they have some of the best killers in the world after all and whenever they commit murder no one would ever suspect them, or even it was murder. He just ran away, after all, there is a letter in his handwriting that says he left to pursue love outside of Regalia. They are masters of deception, and that's their most powerful trait, Deception.
How do we make our money?
We provide protection and invest in business
we only ask for a small amount of their profits in return.
Although sometimes there may have to be some... Convincing.
We also do other things to get wealth such as the drug trade
or just good old fashion robbery.
Origins
The Regalian Mafia was founded in 200 Au by a group of Azzizzari
it was originally only made up of Azzizzari but later on, they
allowed different cultures and races in, Although
Azzizzari culture is Still Prevalent in the Mafia to this day.
The Mafia started small, Although it slowly grew over the years, and as the Regalian
Empire began to prosper they to grew into a golden age.
In its many years of existence, the Mafia has conducted some of
the most secretive operations, and murders that still confuse detectives to this day.
They had ups and downs over the years yet the last 19 Years have gone very well
for then. In the last 19 years, they were able
to get 40% of all Old Town Business to be paying them.
In 308AU Francisco Di Montania was able to climb
to the rank of Godfather. He used the clicker crisis to his advantage
by removing all restrictions to the Mafia
this caused many of the people who lost their home and wealth
to join the Mafia. Currently, the Mafia is seeing a sharp growth due to
the clicker crisis and the wealth of the Mafia is
expanding rapidly.

The Godfather - This is reserved to the owner of the Mafia, he or her word is absolute and can not be disobeyed by lower ranks.
The UnderBoss - Whoever is in this rank serves as second in command in the Mafia. If the Godfather ever dies or is captured the Underboss becomes the new Godfather.
Capo- These people serve as captains or lieutenants in the Mafia they are in charge of enforcing the orders of the Boss and underboss and managing the day to day business of the made men and associates.
Made Men- This is the default rank although it still comes with great riches. The made men in the family are respected and given many riches just like the higher ranks.
The Groups
The Mafia is not entirely centralized, there are currently 4 groups within it, each doing a particular job.
The L'Agenzia di Commercio: These people are the people in charge of everything that has to do with the trade of objects, they do things such as sell drugs, weapons, and certain illegal objects to people who are willing to pay the right price.
The Diffusori di verità: These people are in charge of dealing with the Mafia's image, they do things such as hiding the crimes committed and giving the Mafia a positive image. Manipulating the masses into thinking that they are small and unimportant or big and scary, it all depends on what is needed at the time. They resort to less deadly tactics since they don't specialize in it. They control the flow of information about the Mafia, and the control of information is true power.
The Custodi della pace: These people are in charge of the many businesses that is active in the Old Town, always finding a way to suck some of their profits. They normally resort to damaging business around the slums (Places where guards don't patrol around) till they give up and agree for the Mafia to take some of their profits, they replace the roles of guards in the poorer slum area, protecting the business that pays the fee.
The Donatori di vita: This is the most secret organization in the Mafia and also the least known to the public, yet they are by far one of the most important. They specialize in is..... taking people out. They are responsible for some of the greatest murders in recent Regalian History, it is unknown how many deaths they caused because when they take someone out no one knows they were the ones who did it. Some of the most mysterious disappearances and murders in Regalian History were caused by them. They are some of the most effective killers, they practically perfected the art of killing.
