A Thrust into Spring
I write to you today, honorable members of the Peerage, to offer you a spectacle like no others. I assume many of you have heard of the atrocities committed in the region of Daenshore by bands of extremists. These extremists, who have massacred innocents in the thousands, were stirred to action by the words of a vile coward named Elio Playero.
Among the Playero's supporters, is an extremist much like him, named Florence Amaya; a man of little honor, who claims to be a Knight, yet does not display any of the knightly virtues which is to be expected of such a man.
This brings me to the meat of this address, and the reason I write to you all today. Earlier in the evening, I was approached by one of my Bellator. A Bloodcast of great honor named Alban Koning. I also assume he needs little introduction; as both the head of the Militia ensuring that Crookback stays peaceful, and a distinguished knight in spite of his age, he has proven time and time again that he is the sword of justice and truth for those that cannot fight for themselves.
He had been challenged by Florence Amaya publicly to an honor duel after Alban responded to the baseless rhetoric of Amaya publically. He came to me, because he hoped I would mediate the fight, and ensure that it is seen by the masses. And that I shall do.
Many of you are surely enraged at the atrocities committed in Daenshore. Join me, then, as we watch a true bastion of the Regalian populace and peerage, Alban Koning, face off against the defender of these vile peddlers of false propaganda, Florence Amaya.
The fight will occur on this coming Monday at the prowess arenas in the festival grounds.
